Description: Our relaxed, family-friendly tasting room has been recently transformed and extended into an outdoor space, with wooden decking lined with comfy cushioned seating, beanbags for the lawn, and landscaped areas where you can relax and eat while taking advantage of the views of the vineyards and rolling hills. We offer comprehensive tastings through the full range of Mulderbosch wines, as well as the exclusive opportunity to taste Terroir's Fable Mountain Vineyards and Yardstick Wines. There's comfortable seating on chairs and couches, and a big fireplace with roaring fires in winter. To compliment our wines, we serve a selection of thin-based wood-fired pizzas, with a variety of delicious fresh toppings, from our outdoor pizza oven (available from 12h00 to 16h00). We also offer charcuterie and cheese boards with fresh bread and Mulderbosch olive oil.

Mulderbosch has become a destination. Apart from the fact [trust me. I know] that all the wines are delicious and extraordinary, the pizzas are thin based, loads of vegetarian toppings [although they have just added an Oxtail with roasted butternut option] - and the pairing with wines is fantastic. Add to this combination the tasting room staff are all knowledgeable, friendly and kind. You cannot go wrong. And they have a hot and toasty fire blazing in the corner.
Do yourself a favour - book - visit - be enchanted

Although it was a cold day, this venue is beautiful and when we walked in they had a fire going that made everything about this winter's day great. We sat down and looked at the combination of pizza on offer and it was gourmet at the price of normal pizza. Between the four people there we tried every option on the menu and all of them were divine to say the least. We kept eating and eating because it was so good.

Will definitely take the trip to Mulderbosch again just for the food.

When approaching this farm is does not look like much, the gem lies down into the little valley. They serve a nice thin based pizza for the hungry ones, the wines are to die for.
The Barrel Fermented Chardonnay 2008, 2009 are simply superb - you have to buy all 3 years, the 2010 was a bit young, but it will get there as we were told. Considered it is a price winning wine, its well worth the price.
They also have an "ordinary, not full bodied" 2013 Chardonnay that just won the price as the best Chardonnay 2013, it is also a good and very well priced.
The Chenin is nice but to light and fruity for my taste. We prefer the barrel fermented Chardonnay in oak, as it is rich, creamy and full bodied.
The red wine: Faithful Hound and Syrah also very good. Honestly, we loved all their wines, the ambience is great and wine tasting room is beautiful, with a fire place and view over the valley, you can even play boules at own leisure. Staff knows their stuff! Will definitely go back for more!

If excellent thin based pizzas paired with export quality wine sounds like a good lunch to you, Mulderbosch will thrill you.

Add to the good food the stunning views and the attentive care of Jan Janeke, the man in charge, and you will make this place a regular "spoil-myself" venue.

There is simply nothing to fault.
