Decided to visit Le Bonheur after researching them before our trip. They are located off the R44 on an easy to miss slip-road, and are not to mistaken with the croc farm of the same name a few miles away.
Le Bonheur is a delightful Cape-Dutch style farmhouse, with beautiful features, and our guide gave an informative history of the estate as we made our way through the house, and out to the courtyard for a tasting.
The wines on offer were all of an exceptional quality, and priced realistically. Really enjoyed the Tricorn very much indeed, however, the star of the show for us was their Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, which was stunning (and I seldom drink whites).
Will absolutely make a point of returning to Le Bonheur.
