We booked on Friday morning, arrived Friday evening and spent beautiful, quiet and comfortable weekend at the Kleine Zalze Lodge in a one bedroom suite.
Very comfortable, can be self catering if you wish. Was great making a fire and watching the rugby from the couch on Saturday afternoon while it was cold and raining outside.
The staff were friendly, fantastic breakfast even though the restaurant is a bit on the small side especially when a group on a golf tour eat before tee off.
Very close to Stellenbosch, the wine routes, farm markets, golf, mountain biking, whatever. Do yourself a favour by booking dinner in the Terroir Restaurant literally 100 metres from the lodge. All situated within a security estate and surrounded by vinyards.
Will definitely be back!More
