We like this restaurant and so do our visitors. When our guest arrived in the country she immediately asked if we could visit Terroir. Unfortunately for us, there was a waiting list for Sunday lunch on her first weekend. We did get a table for the 24th and over all, we were not disappointed. Our guest had a trout dish as starter and Springbok for main, both were very good dishes but she felt the trout was accompanied by too much cream. My starter was also very good but frankly, it was just too creamy. Overall the mains were very good, beautifully presented and very adequate portions.
This restaurant is in the top ten in the country and has consistently been producing top quality meals. In my opinion it's time to review the menu and redesign some of the dishes. They do frequently change the menu but it would be nice to see something new on the board.
The wine is very good, try the Family Reserve, it usually moves very quickly so don't wait too long.
Service has been better but over all, its pretty good.
