1st time we went we had mexican in poco loco – we love mexican , specifically went for this place and it was just ok mexican . its hardly authentic mexican , both ate the fajitas and burritos , plus throw in a cocktail and large kingfisher beer it was a 920 bill plus 4 lots of taxes took it to 1170 . just ok service , ok food , but more expensive that other places and those stealth taxes really add up and pad the bill . If you go expecting really basic tex mex you wont be dissapointed . but we have eaten in several mexican areas and this is nothing like proper mexican . we had better mex in ingos market !

2nd time we went 4 weeks later the food was disgusting , the music supplied by nellie even worse . food came wrong , cold , missing salsas , just lame . and the service was absolutely non existent . as bad as cafe fiesta mexican in palolem lol . go to el chongos in ingos sat market for excellent tex mex food , tasty cheaper and fresher than here . you can see these on my blog www.tharobster.wordpress.com .

hope you enjoy , we thought it was beyond average in poco , just about got 2 stars

The decor of the place was interesting..which got us in.
We ordered chimichanga to guage the place.
The salsa was a disaster. The Oil used to prepare chimichanga was burnt.
This was the worst mexican I ever tried.
Don't provide the flexibility of No Cheese options for their Fajita's..

Avoid..I must say.

its a mexican restaurant nicely located opposite the river. very average food and extremely small portions with slow service. found it to be a bit pricy too given the size of the portions.

Very good nachos and burritos. We went there on Sunday night and really enjoyed
the evening. Also, since we were drinking our own brand of whisky, they did
allow us to get our own bottle with a corkage of Rs 300.

Highly recommended.

I've been using this restaurant on Baga River road for years. Its main appeal to me is the live jazz and I've had some truly memorable nights here as some times the place just rocks. Good mix of food of food, its known for its Mexican food but they do a mix of various cuisines. My rating of four stars is for the jazz nights!
