This was our second visit as a family. Back in 2006, the kids (then 5,2) had loved the pool, gardens, beach and of course! Camp Hyatt. We had loved the food, the service and the spa.
This time it was even better.....the kids practically lived at the kids camp (the staff is amazing..) while we really enjoyed our couple time. The hotel, pool and the grounds are well maintained. The beach is clean. Food though a bit expensive is really good. The place is ideal for families with young children and a great place to unwind.
The staff and the the service is the best in its class. Our travel plans had changed at the last minute and arrived early morning 6 am instead of 3 in the afternoon. We were checked in immediately with no fuss. It was such a blessing as the kids were tired after a sleepless night.
I have been to other resorts in Goa but this one...I would definitely go back to the 3rd time!

Traveled with a big group as part of offsite in August 2010. Location of the beach is far from the main city bt u dont want to go anywhr else once u r in the resort. Everything abt this resort is great. Food, rooms, room service, staff, all the facilities. The best part of the resort is the private beach.

This is a beautiful oasis of a hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the resort is packed with activities: you can do everything or nothing. Lovely rooms, very well maintained. Staff very pleasant and genuine. Food: great choice with wonderful breakfasts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and will certainly be back. Beach is wonderful and variety of restaurants just great! Spacious rooms, large balconies, small details attended to quickly..it does Hyatt proud. Everything is on tap.

Room Tip: Overlooking lagoon was special BUT think all rooms are just great!

One of the best hotels I have stayed at - amazing resort and excellent private beach - The breakfast is amazing, the hotels on site are pricy but great food - as a tip I would recommend the shacks on the private breach - amazing food and a fraction of the cost - I would also recommend grabbing a taxi outside the hotel for 600R they will take you out for dinner for 3 hours - i would recommmend the pentigon and martins corner - great places to eat.....

i would recommmend this hotel to anyone with small kids - great pools to meet everyones requirements!!!.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 545 - which was quite a walk but extrimely peiceful - with small kids ask to be cl...

My 23rd trip to India, and this is a really lovely place to stay. We have just arrived back from 9 nights in this hotel. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room in the 2nd Court, with a view overlooking a waterfall, and with an outside rainhead shower. 2nd court is generally peaceful and located near the hotel's vegetable garden and butterfly farm so each morning we would sit on our balcony and watch the birds and butterflies. very soothing. Anyone whinging in other reviews about the need for a room near the restaurant needs to know that we were on the extremity of the property and it only ever took us 5 mins to walk to breakfast.

The food is terrific, with 4 different types of restaurant around a "village square", and different music every night, some local, some western. The breakfast buffet is good and Amit, Tikidutta and the rest of the team led by Stephen are totally on the ball when it comes to service: very friendly and they knew our regular orders by the second day!. We also had great meals at local beach shacks. Plus, the hotel is currently doing a great R99 offer during the IPL cricket tournament for great (strong!) cocktails and snax.

The hotel is cleverly designed & laidout so it never feels busy even when it's full. There are acres and acres of gardens with 88 different types of plants (Sandeep told us this, on our lovely horticultural walk). And even tho we were staying during two huge events (one, a Delhi family wedding for 250+ people) we never felt bothered by other people... Ok, only once... I'll come onto that in a minute.

As visitors from London, we were thrilled to witness an Indian wedding (we even got invited in for the main ceremony which was held nect to the beach...) and it is to the hotel's great credit that such a large and jolly occasion (actually 4 days of parties!) never "took over" and detracted for the other guests.

The only one problem came for another event (a 25th wedding anniversay, with stunning fireworks!) which had some pretty rowdy families attending who noisily monopolised the swimming pool area for the whole of Saturday. In fact the only negative comment about the staff we have is the pool boys who were: never there when you needed them, always chatting to each other when they were there, and (this is pretty important) never enforcing safety rules like when the 25 noisy party-goers took their Budweiser beer bottles into the pool and got steadily more drunk as the hot day wore on. Hate to think what would have happened if one of the bottles had broken with so many bare feet running around.

The beach is beautifully sandy, if very windy, but great for strolling along. The hotel appears to have 2 jet-skis but we never saw anyone use them - the water was very choppy. The gym is on a par with our gym here in London - very well appointed - but very under-used by guests! Only the spa looks tired. There was a small refurb going on, so we heard lots of hammering during our supposedly restful massage, and there was a mix-up with our appontment there so we decided to only go there the once.

Overall this is a beautiful, clean place to stay, elegantly designed to look like a Portuguese village - complete with small church! We used taxis outside the hotel (cheaper than hotel car) to go to Old Goa, Panaji + Mergau + out for suppers. A great mix of pleasing resort and interesting things to do outside too. The perfect trip.

This was my second trip to the resort, and the first for my fellow guests.
The staff at the hotel are so do courteous and we had very specific dietary requirements for two guests that they accommodated throughout the resort.
It is such a peaceful and relaxing location where with the different swimming pools you can locate yourself in the midst of all the hype or in a quiet corner.
The beaches go on for miles and are beautiful and so tidy - was I not suffering from shin splints I could have run for miles at sunrise and sunset.
Don't be alarmed when you see all the local Indian families on holiday and you see that they have nannies for each child do that the mothers do not have to lift a finger- that's what the middle and upper class in India are accustomed to.... I personally do not agree with that sort of lifestyle.
The grounds are well manicured and maintained - take walks at different times of the day to see the variety of flowers - I loved the lotus ponds in particular.
Try some massages whilst out there- they are magical and out of this world.
Thank you for a wonderful stay
