We booked a junior suite and our stay was almost perfect.
The lobby staff and bellhops were very attentive and were always pleasant. We had a welcome fruit platter, 4 bottles of mineral water and when we got back to the room after dinner, the hotel left a plate of chocolate-covered strawberries.
The hotel has very nice interiors in the lobby, rooms and by the pool. They have free iced tea in the pool area. Toiletries in the junior suite were really nice (I don't know if its the same for deluxe rooms). Bed and linens were clean and comfortable. During dinner, the servers were very attentive and kind.
Food served at the Acaci Cafe was just okay, nothing to write home about. Most tasted bland for the Pinoy palate. Pasta noodles were overcooked. They were understaffed during breakfast. Tables were not cleared promptly and most dishes in the buffet were not being refilled on time. We had to request for coffee and tea about 3 times before it was given to us.
The eggs, sausages and pancakes though freshly cooked, were a bit burned. There were limited high chairs for babies and toddlers.
The basement parking smelled of garbage.
Overall, it was an almost perfect staycation and we will still recommend Acacia to our friends and families.
