This 4 star hotel seems more like a 5 star one. Huge, clean rooms. Great breakfast. Outdoor and Indoor (heated) swimming pool. Live piano music in the night. Very nice and friendly staff. Great location - right in the historical city center, next to the gorgeous Nabão river. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, very large room & bathroom, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast. Walking distance to all the attractions in Tomar. The shower could be better. Two days are more than enough to see everything there is to see in Tomar. We are glad we went there and stayed at this hotel.

Room Tip: Room with a view to the river Nabão.

Traveled to Tomar on a business trip. Stayed only one night. This hotel, just 5 minutes walking from old city centre is a hidden gem! It’s a 4 star hotel, medium site, with conference rooms and many facilities.

For me, I have to stand out the pools! It has 2 swimming pools: one indoor, nice and cosy, and one outside, right next to the river, big enough for all hotel users. Late in the afternoon the hotel makes shadow to the pool. You don’t get sun in this area and need to move to the garden to get some sun (it would be nice to be in the water and have sun).

Rooms are big and comfortable. They have a little first chamber, with wardrobs and space for bags and 2 doors: one for the room and another for the bathroom.
Wide bathroom with window (perfect!), with bath and separated shower.
Nice room, with flat TV, a great bed, desk and a veru nice balcony.

Breakfast is really good. Many different fresh fruit, fresh fruit juices, croissants and different kind of breads, English breakfast, cakes and so on, and so on. Expresso on request, free of charge. Very, very good, imo.

The location is perfect. Quiet but in the city center. Just walk from the hotel, pass through a park and you’re in center.

I have travelled alone, in work, but I will definitely return with family. Very good for family with small children.

Room Tip: If there's a convention at the hotel, ask for the rooms far from the crowd!

The main reason for visiting is the proximity to Castle of the Templars. I envisage that the hotel was once very palacial and has been left as is as it blends with the town and castle. Our room was large and very comfortable, lovely grounds and pool. Staff were friendly, good buffet breakfast. We also had a silver service dinner the previous night which we enjoyed.

The hotel is in an old style and once would have been a beauty. It has a certain charm though and I enjoyed my stay. The room was a good size, very spacious, but the shower in the bathroom was a little small. Tomar is a sweet town and this is a good place to stay if you want to explore it.

We had a great time. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are old fashioned but are in very good shape. Swimming pool area is very nice. Overall recommended. You only need 1 day in tomar. The only thing to see is the templar's HQ (convento de cristo), but it's worth the visit.

Our trip to Tomar was really great - this hotel had something to do with it. The quality is very good and prices are reasonable, which makes for a great value for money. The breakfast is very complete and tasty, the hotel has a (small) indoor pool and a larger outdoor pool. The rooms are large and comfy, and the hotel is clean and modern. A nice gem!
