I was very impressed over the city Tomar, I am a little sceptical about Portugal, because they destroyed quite much especially around Lisbon, everywhere are the houses, bigger or smaller but you not see much green, only the roof of the houses. Also the city often are not old, much is new and between the new you find one and other older building. But Tomar, the old city, was not destroyed, it was beautiful. From the hotel we had wonderful view over even the old Arabic castle and convent de Cristo. It was fantastic, I cannot describe, not find the word, but not miss it if you come to Tomar. Something marvellous what I am used only to see in Italy or Spain. Of course there are in Portugal many such castle and monastery etc but this was …. I loved it.
