Nice, clean, small hotel in the middle of the old town of Tomar. Very old and charming building. Friendly staff. The hotel has everything you need, though a little worn and torn - and the price is very reasonable. Bed a little narrow for two people, and street in front of the hotel quite noisy during the night. Breakfast OK. No hotel car park, but never worry; plenty of parking space in the streets around. Wi-fi only in the bar area.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back yard are quieter.

A great location in a very nice town with an amazing 'castle' overlooking everything.

The rooms are classical 18th century with 3 floors and no lift (as in the 1880's)....apparently.

Very friendly owners and staff, and good breakfasts at a very low cost.

Atmospheric, relaxed, friendly, good value - excellent all round. Good breakfast except the coffee. Well placed in the centre of Tomar just off the main square. Parking is possible in a street close by - the owner will show you.

Good character, friendly service and good value for your money. The hostel is located right in main Tomar with restaurants, shops and bars in walking distance. Parking is possible right accross the river (5 minutes by foot). I liked the honesty bar as well as the garden, the breakfast was nothing special and the coffee is indeed awful...but that is just Portugal I guess. Overall a recommendation, really enjoyed my stay!

We checked in here on Friday for a four day stay and even though the hotel was full and very busy we were immediately made welcome by the host. The room was spotless and although it was a tad on the small side the bed was large enough and ensuite bathroom a decent size. TV in room with plenty of sockets. There was a large salon complete with piano and large screen TVand enough comfy sofas and chairs to seat everyone staying there. Lots of interesting books and plenty of information leaflets were on hand. There were also a couple of balconies overlooking the main street. There is also a comfortable bar a sort of mini pub. WIFI available at no extra charge around the hotel. Breakfast was in a charming dining room and was well presented with a good selection. The staff were helpful and friendly and everything was kept very clean. The Hoel is in a very central position and just a few strides from he main square. Perfect place to stay and we shall certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front were larger but street side so not as quiet as the ones at the back, On the second floor at the back wifi signal a bit dodgy
