“Beautiful hotel”
Reviewed 9 July 2013

Visited this hotel in June 2012 and really enjoyed it. I normally get attacked by mosquitoes when I visit Turkey but the hotel had some sort of spray they used in the hotel twice a day and I managed to completely avoid any bites. Woohoo! The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed and the housekeeping came round twice a day. You could not fault the cleanliness or design of this hotel.
I'm the fussiest eater especially abroad but they had such a huge selection of salad & fruit that even I was impressed. Their Italian night which actually turned out to be Mexican night was my favourite.
Pool area was super and I loved that the all inclusive extended down to the beach where they had a couple of bars and a restaurant too. I also highly recommend visiting their spa/ gym facilities which are out of this world. Just remember to only pay half the price they suggest.
The one downside was the entertainment since the staff's english wasn't the best but since the Euro's were on and I was on holiday with 3 guys, most nights were spent in the bar watching football haha.

OMG! I am back for a week now, but still confused...Probably the hot weather +40 in the middle of the day or +36 in the middle of the night....or the air condition in the room working only from 7am to 12 and from 4pm to 10pm... or the entertainment team boss who was so happy to have the microphone in his hands so he can shout really loud making silly jokes, "speaking" almost all European languages in a very strange way and quite insulting...or one of his team member who might come to you from the back and shout in your year something like a "wham"...or the wet plastic glasses at the pool of a bad quality (I break my lip as it was really uneven)... or the "disco" evenings at the pool with soooo much Turkish music ...or the food cooked in a very strange way(we only seen the beef twice but mixed with something I have never seen before)...or the strange taste of coffee...unless wait until 10am to have a proper coffee...or the dirty and slippery tiles at the pool bar...or the queue for some ice cream...or the little choice of vegetarian meals (please do not judge my choice as we live in a free world)...or the bad luck of getting some Turkish sweets (baklava and kataif) unless you are there early...or the hairdryer with two speeds both really hot...or the children unsupervised in the adult swimming pools...or just because I do not speak German??? I still wonder...
The nicest memories were the photograph team in the hotel, excellent guy!...the lovely girl who was doing her best in a very nice way to help us with yoga and aerobics and few only waiters who were really polite and efficient.
This is NOT a 5 star hotel! No way! Maybe 3 European standard! l wonder why our travel agents
do not visit these hotels so we are correctly informed.
Another advice: do not book at www.teletextholidays.co.uk as the price you see is not the price you pay: by the time you call them with your details and enquiries the cost of the is over 15 pounds...
I am still sorry for choosing this hotel....Never again!

We been there in summer 2011 (august).
We had a good time in the Hotel and it was exacly like i thought it would be. It is a 5star Hotel but to be honest that is for turkish standards and i don't think it would these stars in Germany or any Western country. That sound like im complaining, but it was actually very nice.
It was clean, staff was alright. Not super nice and not super unfriendly.
If you expect good food you get disappointed. The coffe was great but the rest was only ok. Altough they is a massive selection of food its not really that nice and i wouldnt give it a 5star rating (more like 3). You can eat the whole day and the hotel makes sure you never have to wait long until you can eat somethin again.
The pool area is very nice and that is where we spent the whole day. We never had a problem in getting an sunlounger because there are enough. I personaly liked it that they took of the towels from some people reservation loungers. Its a weird attitude to do so and i don't like it when people do it so was a good thing the hotel gets their staff to pick up the towels.
The room was really nice and the room service too.
One thing is really quite redicoulus and thats the restaurant. The hotel gives you the choise to have one evening in a nice restaurant where they serve you and you can pick your food out of a menu. You would expect that food would be better but its really not and the restaurant we had dinner in was pretty small and dark. its definitlyn ot worth it but luckily you dont pay any extras for that so it's alright.
We liked it over all and got exaclly what we've been expecting, but we wouldn't come back.

Room Tip: If you wanna do one of the trips the hotel offers you you should really ask about all the details. W...

Stayed at the Innova last autumn with my wife and daughter. Our fifth trip to Turkey, but the first to Belek - which turned out to be a pale imitation of Milton Keynes. Lots of new buildings and roundabouts, but without the buzz and greenery of MK. And beware of Turks bearing fakes. Every other building in the town seemed to be a shop selling fake designer goods. The hotel/resort was another matter. We did an all-inclusive deal - our first since a disastrous package to Cuba many years ago. This time the value was much better. The hotel claims to be 5*, but just manages 4. However, the food was very good - especially the crispily fresh and imaginative salads. And the spirits were free-pour! There were several pools, both indoor and outdoor and worked very well by an imaginative fitness team. If you like that sort of thing. There's a golf course next door and the hotel runs a regular shuttle bus to their beach and fish restaurant which takes about five minutes. It's worth a trip into Antalya town for a beer and bite in the old town and a chance to get some flavour of the Romans' time there. But avoid, at all costs, the free shopping trip. It takes for ever and is simply a tour of overpriced leather and gold outlets.

Room Tip: You need a pool view. The sea's too far away for a beach vista

Spent a week in Innova Resort 25th October to 1st November 2012 with my wife and 2 kids aged 2 and 7. The hotel staff are friendly, though they do struggle with English as the vast majority of guests are German. One nice touch is a free back massage at the Spa on the day of arrival. The rooms are modern and cleaned to a high standard and the fridge to keep water and milk etc in, is really handy but agree with other reviews re: Air con - Must sort this out! The hotel has plenty to do, with 5 swimming pools, waterslides, full Spa (with charge), bowling alley, indoor pool, 3 x "a la carte" restaurants, beach bar (small bus journey or 10 minute walk). All of the reps are friendly but tend to cater for the Germans for the entertainment and games for the kids etc as is the kids club (10am-12 and 2-4pm). We ventured out of the hotel twice. Once to a local town called Kuridase (a bit rapey), and once to a Chinese restaurant on the beach which was a nice change from the hotel for 1 night. All in all a great holiday, especially for the kids.

Room Tip: Front of hotel looks on to pools and then trees surrounding a nearby golf course.

Reviewed 29 October 2012

We stayed 16-23rd October and overall we were happy with the Innova Resort but felt that things weren't what they could have been.

The transfer time is about 35 minutes, and arriving late on Tuesday we were introduced with "Guten harben, Merhaba? Do you speak German or Turkish...oh dear?" We soon came to find that this hotel is really geared to the German clients but we got by and actually learnt a lot of German whilst there. A few of the staff spoke excellent English too so we didn't have too much trouble.

The room was immaculate with great facilities - great bathroom and toiletries, bath robes, room and towels changed daily. Free soft drink and beer in the fridge (not replenished but large water is - very generous). One problem: all important Air Conditioning missing! We were given a ovely gift of fresh flowers, champagne and fruit basket as we were celebrating our honeymoon here.

The pools were great (if a little cold as unheated), the slides were fun (not just for kids!). Always plenty of sun loungers to sit on. The regular bus to the beach was really nice and the beach itself was nice, never overcrowded and water was very warm.

We found the various bar/indoor areas nice but we mainly went out to the pool bar for fresh air and variety. The indoor bars were often full and because its quite dark, open plan inside, with not very comfortable furniture, we didn't like to stay here too much.

We loved the animation entertainment - the team work so hard and are really friendly. We took part in Aqua fit, water polo, darts, shooting and in the evening watched "Top of the Pops", the Brazalian Dancers and thought these were both really great fun.

Breakfast had everything you could hope for including freshly made Omlettes, cereals, cheese, pastries and fruit. Pancakes were on offer one day although they didn't taste that great. Lunch is plentiful (smaller than dinner but fresh) and afternoon snack by pool - 2:30-4 of burgers and chips or pizza wasgood if you wanted a later lunch. Cakes served in the afternoon and ice creams too.

The food was of a good quality, the fresh veg and fruit options were excellent, oven baked Turkish bread was made in the restaurant and tasted lovely. The Turkish night (on the Friday). was the best quality food of the whole holiday.

Other dinner services were slightly disappointing - a lot of the food was overcooked and over salted. Particularly the pasta. Stick to the fresh things if you can - happy to say a lot of traditional food was avaliable. Desert options looked amazing but many were a sponge with lots of cream. Although poached/roasted fruits were usually available too. I loved the traditional Turkish style deserts.

We dined in 3 al a carte restaurants, the Aquamarine was atrotious, very slow and too many courses. Pasta course was salty, overcooked and everything was seasoned with hard, fake parmesan cheese. Our main was barely edible, too salty and overcooked. We didn't eat much of our meal!

The "Ruby" Chinese was not really Chinese but very tasty nonethelss, albeit with two courses of unnecessary salads. Prawn crackers, chicken sesame toast and desert were quite authentic. We found that the restaurants offered the same wine list (you have to pay for wine in a la carte and it is normally served in the canteens/bars for free) so we stuck to ordering spirits/beer which were free (!?)

A mention about the spirits: they are local versions and are not same quality we are used to in England. They poured large measures but it wasn't the same quality. I expected to fall over after seeing the amounts they poured into our drinks but it wasnt too strong, and we aren't big drinkers. "Baileys" for example is quite runny and not very falvoursome. We found the Gin, whiskey and lager best taste - and although the hotel offers its own version of cocktails, the Mojito was never once made with Rum!

We were given a voucher for a free 15 massage, beware - this is a con to get you to the spa for somebody, to tell you that the massage is just a diagnostic to tell you what is wrong with you and prescribe further treatment. We thought this was really cheeky! We opted for a Turkish bath each at 30 euros each this is the most expensive we have paid but this was sort of a honeymoon for us so we thought we would have a treat. It was nice though and we got to relax in the spa afterwards which we realise now we could have done for free all along!

Our package included a free "Shopping trip" to Antalya which was booked via an agent. We were given wrong information about this and we found out the trip was actually on until 6pm (and we didnt get home to the hotel til gone 7.30 due to Friday traffic). We were paraded around leather and fur, and gold factories which were completely pointless. We also went a boat trip which lasted about 40 minutes and just sent us out to deep water and back. We were then left to go shopping for 2 hours, by which time we were all very hot and tired. I am ashamed to say we headed to McDonalds for some air conditioned seating and a milkshake to cool us down! We enjoyed the bazaar, but we just got fed up of the repetitive nature of the stalls - fake clothes and bags, sunglasses and watches and then "traditional" stalls selling the same packaged teas, turkish delight and nick nacks. We hoped to see some traditional things but I think that the built up tourist areas just provide this kind of thing.

I think that although we enjoyed our time, we found the Turkish delight was a little deceiving: things are never what they try to be in Turkey - this is our third trip to Turkey now and I am always left with the same feeling.

Hotel is recommended for families and the disabled as the access here and activities were top notch!

Room Tip: Rooms are in blocks we stayed in block 2*** which faced the pools.
