Where to start, we just loved it here. When checking in they take their time and go through every little detail with you which we found very useful. The food is a very high standard for a buffet, but you have so much choice for lunch you can go to the main resteruant or you can go to the pool or beach bar which each have their own menu, we chose the pool bar most days for lunch( burgers, stakes, fish, pasta all good) at night the buffet is top class and the change the food cuisine every night, but again you have 2 a la carte resteruants both which are fantastic but for me the French one wins it. The drinks for all inclusive is unbelievable local and international all included, cocktails, milkshake you name it it's included. The pool are is clean and always has sun beds empty like wise the beach and pier, the anamation team is good and make you welcome but they dont force you into anything. At night the shows are v good and keep you entertained, but if you just want to relax you can just chill in the bar. I played golf one day which was very expensive €92 for 9 holes (after club hire&golf car) but it was a nice course.we had a look at the spa which looks fantastic but the price of the treatments is crazy so we never got one. For such a busy hotel it just never seem over crowed anywhere. Overall I never knew I could get such a good hotel on a package holiday and would recommend it to anyone

This was our first trip to Turkey. We are seasoned travellers and have seen a great many places and aside from a number of visits to the Turkish side of Cyprus where my father lives, we knew very little about this fast developing country. The Gloria Verde is an amazing hotel for those people happy to just relax and eat and drink. It is unfortunately situated a great distance away from anywhere. The nearest town is Belek itself, which we found extremely disappointing as it is a man-made modern development consisting of a plastic central waterfall, far too many cheap and run-down clothes and jewellery shops and a couple of tired looking coffee shops. We went there twice in two weeks and on both occasions were happy to just get back to the hotel. We were frustrated by the fact that once at the hotel you therefore feel quite trapped unless you pay to do excursions to other towns and there's no where pretty to walk around and explore or have a drink/snack in. Even the beaches are private, so you get short shrift if you walk across one beach border to the next along the hotel sea front. But the hotel itself does provide everything and has the most welcoming, cheerful and attentive staff we have ever come across! A couple of things to mention. I would say around 80% of the guests at this hotel are Ukrainian/Russian and they dominate everything and whilst the staff don't tend to speak that good English, they do all seem to speak and understand Russian. Just about all the evening entertainment is also Russian. The Russian guests are culturally very different and don't say please or thank you and have a tendency to just push passed you and look extremely solemn most of the time. They don't integrate with other nationalities really and definitely dominate the hotel. They ALL seem to come with children too and this was the biggest shock of all for us. The hotel is over-run with children and they aren't disciplined, so at mealtimes they run around all the tables and have free reign everywhere. We did find this a little bit annoying. I once saw a child just run into a table and knock everything flying and they were not told off. The Turkish adore children which is great, but shouldn't be at the expense of other guests. If you are a childless couple I would think carefully before booking to stay here!
The food is very good and there is a lot of choice during themed nights including an International night, Italian night, Turkish night etc. But it's also very often just a variation of what they always serve. We were all inclusive and had access to all breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings across three bars and the main restaurant. There are 2 al la carte restaurants - The Basilica restaurant is excellent, but the other fish restaurant we found a little under standard. The choice of alcoholic drinks is phenomenal and the measures are large! And even the mini bar is topped up daily and included in this package. We loved the evening entertainment- acrobats, circus, drama, dancing shows. But be warned it does just get repeated from week to week, so if you have a 2 week stay you may want to think about taking the shuttle over to the Gloria Serenity hotel amphitheatre to watch their shows. There isn't a lot going on in the day apart from the usual aqua aerobics, but there is archery and shooting. Both of which we did and enjoyed, but it's over in 15 minutes. There are lots of exercise classes and we used the Gym frequently which was well equipped and never that busy! What I liked most about this hotel was the capacity to relax. My husband and I work hard and to be treated almost like royalty for 2 weeks, by kind, happy and helpful staff was a joy. In particular Gokhan Kurt, who became our sort of regular special waiter in the main restaurant and ensured we were always looked after and provided with the very best service. He needs to be commended as does a lovely young waitress whose name escapes me unfortunately, but she often works in the Zodiac Bar and has the sweetest nature and a tireless ability to be kind and attentive. The pools are bliss, the beach is restful and a welcome change from the pool areas, and the Spa is lovely (although the treatments are a bit too expensive!)
Generally no one pushes you to buy extras on top of your package and there are two menus - an inclusive and exclusive, so if you want to try some more expensive wines the option is there but not pushed. It was a very different type of holiday for us, in that we did very little except be pampered, so if this is what you are after the Gloria Verde is your place to go!

1. upon arrival was welcomed cases taken , full meal offered and cooked fresh in dining room , even though 11pm. fresh food , hospitality 10/10 better than all other hotels so far , no questions

2. room was a standard room , on loks is similar to others we have seen and used but the extra touch was the extra stocked mini bar and speaker system in the bathroom , we can only imagine how good the quality of room the suites and villas were

3, asked to change room and was told no problem we swapped to a better room with better view within 24 hours

4. no rush to find sunbeds at 6am , go down at 8-830 and find bed easily , this hotel actually majes you want to be a better person rathe rthan squabble , even trusted to take towells and leave towll cards rather than be marshalled by an attendant , although they are present unlike other hotels no qcues.

5. no chlorine in pools , so natural no stingy eyes , buy yet so clean and beautiful

6. pools are not busy felt like a private pool to ourselves througout our 7 day stay , as did the waterslides as majority of guests are older its nice not to have thousands of people hogging the slides , also the lifeguards are best so far similar to uk standards marshalling the slides at all times.

7. lunch is outstanding all fresh food beats all other hotels , no doner every day they cook fresh from teh bbq or pasta bar , fresh salads , pizzas ect , no food bugs , staff so attentive , be sure to tip them they deserve it. quality of meat is bettr than uk , the small shish skewers are best we have had in turkey and we have turkish heritage , all brands are avadiable , all premium jack daniels , miller , efes , heineken , ect ect

8. evenings meals are the same top quality , with meats cooked to order

9. evening entertainment is best so far all are outside acts with jaw dropping events each night.

10. so clean everywhere , kids pool is great with sand at bottom to help if child falls , kids club look ok and safe , internet was free and worked everywhere in hotel and was great qualiy signal

11. better than royal wings , royal dragon , leetonia , kervansaray , maybe if ages 14-18 not so good but small kids will love it , older folks and families will and teenagers will probably be ok if with a friend to get through a holiday

12. staff were so friendly , even when being bashed by other "euro" guests and their demands
they were so attentive and work very hard doing 16 hour shifts , we saw one waiter check each and every knife fork soon and cup and saucer for marks before laying down on the table at 1am.

13. camera on kids club was a good touch , everything was made safe around pool , non slip tiles , foal coating on ridges so no gashed heads on slides and pool , no hassle for photos or to spend money , gym was better than most leisure centeres , spa looked good but pricey as usual. not like marmaris or bodrum so stay away if looking for fish n chips and heavy rodwy late night clubbing ( teen parties ect ) this is a graceful classy hotel that caters for all but makes you feel ike the president whatever your backgroung

14. will be hard to find a better hotel (from me a very fussy guest this is one i would return to in a instant.
more i can think of but would take ages , get booking there its worth every penny

Room Tip: if not happy ask they will swap if they have room , some have balconies some dont

Since we've previously been to Gloria Golf and Gloria Serenity (not once), this year we've decided to go for a little "challenge" & try out Gloria Verde. Upon the arrival as "regulars" we've got an upgrade to Gloria Select Villas - this was more than enough to make our holiday :)!!!
As other 2 Gloria's previously Verde showed us perfect time - excellent food, great service (perfectly clean apartments, smiling faces)...
Since we've been comming to Gloria form some time, this year we got a thought: while we are there shall we check some other hotels in the neighborhood... Well no offence to other hotels - we intend to stay Gloria fans :)
It is quite difficult to write a review when everything in perfect! Just want to say: 2 thumbs up!!!

Excellent food, green territory. A bit overpriced as Egypt and Tunis are closed due to riots. Gloria is one of the best hotels in Belek.
