My husband and I decided to go back to the Cornelia De Luxe after staying at the Cornelia Diamond last year. From arriving it didn't seem like 4 years since our previous visit. We stayed in one of the junior suites which were still as immaculate, maid service outstanding. If there was one draw back it was that the dress restrictions in the restaurant wasn't as stringent as previous, which meant that you did have some people especially men going into evening meal wearing shorts and t-shirts that you wear for the beach. Also, in the main buffet restaurant please be prepared for some children watching dvd's at full volume which I personally feel shouldn't be allowed as some nights it felt more like McDonalds than a 5* restaurant. With that said I would still go back again and there were alot of faces that we recognised from our previous visit. Definitely worth a visit.

This hotel is everything and more that you'd ever want from an all inclusive. the staff are absolutely the best i have ever come across....wonderful indivuals. the food here was top class. the al a cartes were all excellent as was the day time al a carte...absolutely superb. and like i say the service from the staff was outstanding. there was someone as quick as a flash to get you what you wanted. the 24 hour room service was excellent and all free!!! ive been to loads of top class all inclusives but this certainly tops them all and they all pale in comparison.
i loved the area. beautiful gardens around the hotel with a love pine forest around the belek area. beach and water lovely and quite warm. pools were excelent and again quite warm. slides lots of fun.
we went on some great trips to the roman ruins and the water falls... excellent. we also went on a gulet boat to side for the day and saw apollos temple....ab fab and side is lovely too. please go out and see the area as its well worth it and you can get a tad bored doing the same things day in day out even tho the hotel is superb. the trips we did def broke up the two weeks.
so cant wait to go back..absolute worth it 2nd place on trip advisor but definatly no. 1 for me!!!
only down side to this area and is obviously out of the hotels control, are the russians and the germans. they are not friendly or polite to anyone and can be quite rude. this will be true in any hotel in this area and actually there was more brits here than russians or germans. it is their way, apparently and comes from the old regime not to acknowledge others. goes so against the typical british persona of politeness and greetings especially while we are on holiday. as long as you give em a wide birth and don't be affended by there of handedness towards the staff you'll be fine.
i had a fabulous time here and will be definatly returning at some point.

what a lovely hotel this is, i did have a few minor issues so lets get them out of the way first. there was a problem with room allocation when i arrived but was sorted out quickly the following day and had our sea view room on the 5th floor of the main building.
food at the pool bar at lunchtimes could be a bit erratic but the waiters worked very hard.
ok now for the good stuff, the food was of excellent quality in the main restaurant we also went to the la carte restaurant a few times tai pen twice and florian twice which were lovely, also went to the turkish la carte but found the other 2 a great deal better. there is a 6 euro per person service charge at the tai pen so please be aware of this. there is so much food around the hotel snack bars with hot dogs, baked potatoes, crapes, ice cream and drinks at a section by the water slides which also were wicked. the service was excellent by the bar staff always on hand to get you a drink and always pleasant about it. you will always see someone cleaning somewhere the whole hotel is spottless.
our room was cleaned every day and clean towels also and bedding you also have toiletries and bathrobe and slippers which is a nice touch. the room itself i would not rate as 5* maybe a 4* but nevertheless it was comfortable wit big beds but hey you dont spend much time in you're room! the pools were lovely and nicely designed with all the same depth of 1.5 metres. there is nothing around the hotel just other hotels only the beach to have a walk really as belek itself is a 10 minute train-tractor ride away and there is not much in belek just the normal copy clothes shops etc which the owners try to drag you into, so please bear this in mind. the hotel has so much going on with the entertainment staff in the day or you can just chill by the pool as i did lol.
as for the entertainment in the evening it was ok nothing great there were a few outside acts which were good other times it was the entertainment team who work tirelessly but are not real entertainers for the evening shows. there is a lovely atmosphere about the hotel relaxing but fun at the same time if you know what i mean i think its because its not to big an hotel and everything is well layed out and also they catered very well for the disabled did see quite a few people in wheelchairs there. on our last night there it was the gala night which was amazing tables were set out around the main pool and there were different acts on the stage at the end of the pool and fireworks really great night it was. so to sum up this hotel if you want great service, lovely food and a relaxing atmosphere with lovely surroundings which are spotless you cant go wrong. hope this review as helped you to decide. if you do holiday here have a great time!!!!!

Just had a wonderful time at this resort, including the gala night as previously mentioned. A logistical nightmare for the staff to organise but what a performance they achieved. Top notch entertainment throughout the fortnight. The staff could not do enough to provide you with good service & always with a smiling face. We had our breakfast most days at the Hedera restaurant, smaller choice of food to the main restaurant but more personal. We also used the a la carte restaurants on 5 nights, Sofa twice , Hedera twice & Florian once & although there was a supplement of 6 euro per person per time I would recommend them whole heartedly for the standard & variety of the foood , ambience etc.
With regard to the garden rooms / annexe mentioned in another review I would advise people to doublecheck with their tour operator as to what type of room they have been allocated to. We arrived at 6am to be given a garden room on the 3rd floor with no lift & 2 flights of windingstairs (like a castle) to negotiate. We had expected to be in the main building. We contacted reception who advised us that basically we had been allocated what the tour company had advised them & the resort was full. The room allocated being 3312 which to our surprise contained a kitchen unit with an electric hob & fridge plus minibar. Negotiating the stairs a couple of times would have been a problem for us & why an all inclusive resort room has a mini kitchen surprises me.This then became an issue with the tour company rep next day.We were moved next day to another garden room on the ground floor. This room was set in a garden courtyard & whilst a 4 min walk to the main building/reception etc, it was very quiet & relaxing though.
We travelled with First Choice & booked online & expected to be in the main building which we knew had lifts, booking online did not give us any choice of rooms so beware of your allocation/expectations.

I have to admit I was rather weary about staying in Turkey but when we arrived at the hotel it was perfect we were greeted with Champagne the staff are so friendly they love to get to know you. The food is delicious even the buffet so much choice for all ages and people. The rooms are lovely the mini bar is refilled everyday with new drinks that you have taken out which is fantatsic as sometimes this is not always done!!
The pool is beautiful such brilliant views and lots of sun loungers which are spreadout so its not your typical square pool with loungers....its like a river with lots of areas to sit and enjoy the weather!
Overall I think that the hotel was beautiful great food/great staff and lovely atmosphere this year we are going to stay at its sister hotel called the Cornelia Diamond so hope its just as good if not better! :)
