Ok, The first thing to do before yo go is to try not to think of this as a five star Holiday!
If you do that then you will be pleasantly surprised.
This is by no means a criticism as the Hotel and facilities are top notch ..
Hotel is set in tremendous surroundings amongst really nice Mature pine trees and immaculate gardens with tame squirrels and wildlife running around the open areas.
The Hotel and bungalows seem to combine a number of Holidays in one and they seem to pull it off well. The Hotel has a large pool area that can be quite lively but never rowdy and there is also a tranquil secret garden area that has a large pool that is really quiet and so relaxing with a small bar area that serves breakfast also up untill October (shame it's not year round).
The food is really good with a grill type barbecue area in the main restaurant as well as the traditional buffet style if you wish .
Also five al a carte restaurants which you can eat in each night if you wish, are just off the main restaurant ,and these do not cost you any extra.
Plenty of bars in the Hotel and an Irish type pub that serves food 24hours if you wish.
The private beach is a five minute stroll over a small river bridge and past the beach bar which also serves food and nibbles .
You will never be on the hunt for a sun bed as the Hotel has 100s and you should never have to reserve one either which is nice.
The Rooms are adequate with free stocked minibar, no complaints really, unless you have been to Xanadu island Bodrum where you are really spoilt with all suite rooms.
So in all, a really nice Hotel and REALY good value for money .
Would go back and great for Golfers ( a few to many golf bores for my liking) but never mind I'm not a golfer and you will see a few groups of them at the Hotel.
All in all a great hotel.
.

Room Tip: Don't worry about getting a bungalow they are nice and peaceful in amongst the pine trees..

I can't say I am a huge fan of Turkey however this hotel was faultless
The grounds and facilities were fantastic, food was amazing with various places to eat, drinks were great all named brands, ice creams were truly delicious, No fighting for a sun bed, it's a big hotel but the grounds are so big that it never felt busy or crowded which was nice, excellent facilities for babies, toddlers and young children. The Garden BBQ they did during our stay was really good so don't miss it. Also the Donner kebabs at the beach bar are a must have. We were upgraded to a garden bungalow room which was lovely although the rooms are a bit tired the views more than made up for it. Not one to go to the same place twice but I would definately return to this hotel.

First time I have went to Turkey for a golf holiday and did not know what to expect. First impressions of Antalya airport was good, very clean and modern and even a duty free at arrivals ! Only downside on arrival at Xanadu was that they had given us a smoking room however on requesting a non-smoking room we managed to get transferred. The difference in room quality was night and day so be warned if you are a non-smoker please specify this in advance. From then on it was plain sailing the room was bright and airy and could not have been cleaner. The food available in the hotel was very good quality and lots of it. We chose to eat in the buffet a couple of nights and the rest in the a la carte restaurants. The service I found was good both in the restaurants and in the bars. The pools although I did not use much were very spectacular and there was a nice ambience about the place. I especially liked my time on the quiet beach with all its superb facilities : bar, showers, changing cubicles and sun loungers. The staff were all very friendly and could not have been more helpful. Nice thoughts like giving everyone in the outside bar a fleece to keep warm after dark I have not experienced before and was a nice touch. I can only say that we had a great time in Xanadu and if we do not rush back it is only because Belek has so many other hotels to tempt us and we will be back somewhere in Belek next year.

We came to Xanadu at the end of September and i must say this hotel really is the best we've ever stayed in. We were greeted by the friendly staff immediately and given champagne, they explained where everything was and how much the extras would cost etc and took our bags up to the room for us. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. The 3 pools were brilliant and each one had it own charms. My 'wife' and i were there to get married and we had alot of family and friends out with us (around 30 of us) and everyone was blown away by how amazing the place was.
The food is exceptional with soooo much choice and different dishes appearing each night at the buffet restaurant. You really are spoilt rotten with the choice. And the a la cart restaurants are also pretty good with the French being our favourite and all free of charge!!
The entertainment is first class also with something different on every night. From beach parties and live bands to shows at the Amphi-theatre (well worth a watch!) There is also a large pool bar, an irish bar (24 hour) and a nightclub!! (we had a few good nights in there!!)
The beach is also great with its own bar (that does a mean kebab!)

The wedding was organised so well it really was perfect. We thought that maybe they would forget the odd thing but that didn't happen. Ayishegal (the wedding co-ordinator) does a fantastic job. We chose the gardens as it was very private and we were so pleased.

It was a holiday of a lifetime with the wedding of our dreams thrown in. We're so so glad we picked Xanadu and are already talking about going back there next year!!

We returned in September (after 2 week stay in July) for our friends wedding. After watching other weddings over the years we have stayed at the Xanadu it seemed strange to be attending one.
Every organised event here is carried out to perfection and the wedding was no different.
The wedding was on the antique island, the flowers were beautiful and afterwards the reception was in the Russian restaurant so private. the table was set out stunning and the food was good. There was another family there having their wedding the following week.
It was out first visit to the Xanadu in sept and it is by far our favourite month to go there. The weather was great and hardly any children and this was a big plus especially in the buffet, it was noticably quiet in there, so we will defiantly go back in September again.
We did have trouble with some noisey drinken Brits in the room opposite, waking everyone up at 3am every night/morning. We complained several times, they were given a ticking off but they carried on regardless. So after many sleepless nights we asked to change rooms, and because all the rooms were full we had to down grade to a garden view room as we had paid for a sea view. The man on reception was only interested in getting me to sign a disclaimer to say i was happy to downgrade with no refund ! We did feel that they should of been moved and not our 2 rooms but there you go. Anyway, we moved and everything was fine.
The evening entertainment was excellent, the foam party was good fun and the Karaoki was brilliant! So hopefully they will be running again next year.
There has been alot more outdoor seating added to the lobby bar but the staff seemed in short supply.
Went to the Saturday market in Belek to get a handbag and the centre of Belek has made huge improvements in pavents/roads and is alot cleaner and looking good!
So, another wonderful holiday to the Xanadu!

Room Tip: Rooms over looking the antique pool directly are the noisiest and the rooms opposite above reception...

Just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Xanadu Hotel, our 8th visit in 4 years and once again it didn't fail to deliver. The hotel standards are still very high and the service that we received generally was excellent from very warm, friendly and obliging staff. The variety of food is still of a very high standard - champagne breakfasts, freshly made omelettes, fresh salads, fish, grilled meat and desserts to die for! We don't tend to use their 5 a la carte restaurants as the variety of food in the main buffet is always excellent. Their picnic in the Birds of Paradise area every Tuesday lunchtime is very well organised and well worth a visit. Their animation team put on 6 excellent shows in the amphitheatre during our stay - Shrek, Grease, Mama Mia, Burlesque, Zorro and a Michael Jackson Tribute. These shows are in addition to live music being played in either their Xanadu Bar or Irish Bar most evenings. If it's a relaxing holiday in very pleasant surroundings that you are after where 'all inclusive' is 'all inclusive' then the Xanadu Hotel has to be high on your holiday destination list. We have already made arrangements to go back there again next year.

Room Tip: The 3rd floor is a non smoking floor. Garden view rooms in the main hotel get sun on the balcony un...

My wıfe and I have just spent a week at the Xanadu and found ıt a delıghtful hotel. I played golf and my wıfe read swam and played tennıs. Thıs hotel ıs an excellent example of the all ınclusıve package. As wıth other revıewers I was very ımpressed wıth the food and drınks are unrestrıcted wıth top brands avaılable. There ıs a coffee bar at both of the subsıdıary pools and a bıstro besıde the beach. Bottle water ıs freely avaılable as ıs ıce cream.
The servıce ıs very good and the staff frıendly and well traıned. For us the only drawback was the bed was very hard but we were provıded wıth a mattress topper whıch helped.
The aırcondıtıonıng ın the rooms ıs not very effectıve whıch meant we were hot at nıght.
As a well rounded package thıs hotel ıs a very good choıce and I wıll recommend ıt to my frıends. I kept runnıng ınto other guests who had been usıng ıt for up to 12 years on an annual basıs. It doesn't get much better recommendatıon than that.
