Best all-inclusive resort ever! Will go back and recommend to everybody!!!
Everything was very good - accomodations, pool, food (soooo good) and especially their spa. I have been in 5* spas in USA (like Broadmore in Colorado), but Xanadu spa is the best. Entertainment was very good, specially for kids. They do have a night club (only it was always empty - not hotel's fault). Looks like everybody (including us) liked to hang out next to the pool bar with live music every night.

This is an excellent hotel with an relaxing and enjoyable atomsphere, Rooms are spacious and large and include a safe, air con, large beds private bathrooms and excellent amenity kits, not forgetting the free laundry service.

The hotel is set in wonderful grounds including football courts, tennis courts, archery area and a golf practice range and 18 hole putting green (must have your own putter hotel do not supply). Three large swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers, sun loungers have all got their own canopies to help shade from the sun if required.

We watched two of the evening shows SPAMALOT and MAMA MIA which were both performed by the entertainment staff and water sports staff and were both very entertaining and enjoyable, there was live music available every evening.

The main buffet restaurant and the secret garden restaurant is where we chose to have breakfast offering a great selection of food from cereal to cooked breakfast,

Lunch time there are places all around the resort to eat all the bars offer a food menu, down at the beach bar most days kebabs are available, do watch out for the bbq held in the birds of paradise area on a Tuesday very very good, once again the main buffet restaurant has a great selection of food some cold meats and cheeses, salads, a choice of soup and lots more.

The main buffet restaurant is where we ate every evening, even though there are a la carte restaurants available we found that the food in the main buffet restaurant was excellent. The Six large outside grills were cooking fresh meat, poultry and fish every night, each night a different theme.

The staff are helpful and polite.

We stayed here from 20th - 27th September. We were met at the airport by our private taxi transfer through thomas cook. When we arrived at the hotel our room was not ready, but they gave us a drink and we went for a walk around the hotel to see where everything was located. After about an hour we were shown to our room on the 3rd floor of the main building room 3382. The 3rd floor is completly none smoking which is lovely. The room was large, bright and clean with a superb view of the pools and sea. We were surprised that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but we asked the bellboy who brought our luggage to the room and within 5 minutes a kettle was delivered for us. Lots of wardrobe space and plenty of hangers. Bathroom was fine, toiletries replaced every day. The hairdryer was ok but I used my own as I have very thick hair and the one supplied kept over heating. Mini bar was stocked with beer and soft drinks and this was filled every day. We used to get a large glass of Barcardi and a glass of ice to take to the room for us to drink while we were getting ready to go out, so no problem of not having spirits in mini bar. We got tea bags and milk from the bar as well for the room. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The maid cleaned our room before 10am every morning, she was very friendly and spoke quite good english.
Make use of the laundrey and pressing service they offer for free. They collect this before 10am every day except Sundays. Just put the items in bags left in wardrobe with the form completed and hang note on outside of door. We left the bags just outside the bathroom door for them. Take note that they do not wash items made from Linen, Silk or Wool. Also if they think a garment is not suitable for there washing service they return it all folded in a plastic bag with the reason. I had quite a few linen items, but they pressed these with no problem, just couldn't have them washed.
There are 6 restaurants to choose from Chinese which was great, French, Italian our favourite (went twice), Turkish, Russian and Mexican. On top of this you also have the buffett restaurant. We weren't keen on the mexican, but all the rest were brilliant. We booked for the next day every morning and never had a problem getting the one we wanted. We eat in a different one every night. We only had 1 evening meal in the buffet on our first night, which was great. Of a lunch time you had burgers or kebabs at the beach bar, Pizzas, Salad and Ice Cream at the pool bar and a buffett in the main restaurant. We ate at the buffett for lunch everyday. On a Sunday they have a brunch available from 9am to 3pm. As we were due to leave the hotel at 12.30pm we had brunch at about 11.30 which was great.
The entertainment was brilliant. We saw Grease and Mamma Mia shows which although mimed, were excellent. The dancing was brilliant. The shows ect were in the amphitheatre outside. As you go in you are given a cushion to put on the stone steps to sit on. Ask for 3 of these one for your back, one for your bottom and one for your legs, this was much more comfortable. Before the shows and after they had live bands in the pool bar which were quite good. If you like a late drink like us the Rosebud Bar stays open 24 hours. We had some great nights in there till the very early hours. The staff were great and we met some great people, including a couple of groups of blokes on golfing holidays and a lovely couple from Scotland. You could even order steak and chips at 4am in the morning at the bar if you wanted.
They have a little shopping arcade, but it is very expensive. We didn't bother going to the Spa as we spoke to a few people who had been and they said the prices were very expensive.
If you have small children there is alot for them to do but I don't think it is suitable for over 8's really.
The beach was just ok, I've seen better. The sand was a bit shingly and nobody comes round with drinks. On the plus side the beach toilets were immaculate. Never had a problem getting a sunbed at any time of day.
There are two pools. The sunbeds were great as they have shades attatched to them so theres no problem getting umbrellas. The main pool was lovely but far to noisy with the music they played all day. We used to go to the antique pool, although you can still here the music but its not quite as bad. There is another pool at the secret garden, but we could never get a sunbed in the sun there. This was quite away from the music.
We had room service one lunch time when we arrived and was delivered within 5 minutes and was great.
Whilst we were there it was our wedding anniversary and we had a vase of roses, a cake and a bottle of champagne left in our room for us.
You also have free wii fi in your rooms at no cost.
Beware at the airport going home, they charge you £8 for every kilo you are over weight. Also take water to drink with you. You can take this right up to the boarding lounge. They were charging 3 euros for a small bottle of water and once you go to the boarding lounge to the gate area you have these bottles taken from you. Some people had just purchased bottles of water and had them taken away (expensive bottles of water)!!
Will be booking to go back again. Great value for money !!

We recently returned from this hotel, we were very impressed with everything about our stay from the cleanliness of our room to the free laundry service. There was a wide selection of food available; we ate in most of the Al la Carte restaurants of which the French was our favourite. The main was rather noisy so we spent most of our time ether at the beach or the Secret Garden Pool. We are hoping to go back next year.

I returned yesterday from a very relaxing week at the Xanadu Resort Hotel. It was marvellous. My husband played golf on 4 days and the Guest Relations Desk took care of everything including the transport to and from the courses by hotel transport. There is a charge of 10 euros , return trip unless you are playing at the Gloria Courses which is free as it is so close to the Xanadu.
We had a junior suite which was stunning. The view from the large balcony (with 2 sun loungers as well as 2 tables and a coffee table) were amazing..the sea to the right and mountains to the left. The minibar was filled every day with Johnny Walker whisky, Beefeater Gin and Smirnoff Vodka minatures, bottles of beer and soft drinks, Pepsi being the brand over there. These were the brands also used in the bar, which came as a suprise as I had heard they used local unknown brands.
The food in the restaurants was really good too...something for everyone, vegetarians and meat eaters alike. They also had a section for guests who had dietry problems with fish and meat and vegetables steamed, with no sauces etc..i've stayed in many a 5* hotel and never seen this catered for so easily. Give the a la carte restaurants a try, they are good and it's nice to be served your meal rather than going to the buffet every night.
The hotel public areas and toilets are spotless.
There were plenty of Russian guests there , but not a lot with children. However we did not have any problems with them at all and some, particularly the older ones were quite friendly and interested to find out where you came from. The staff treat all the nationalities the same, which was unusual to say the least.
There was a band every night at the Xanadu Bar and a show in the Ampitheatre every other night. The staff performed Mama Mia and Grease when we were there and it was good entertainment.
The main swimming pool area was a bit noisy with the loud music but as previous guests said, head for the quiet pool in the secret garden..it's wonderful and so relaxing.
The shops in the downstairs mall are extortionate, so be warned..wait until you go to Belek town for essentials. The bathrooms in your room come with shampoo, showergel, bath foam, mousturiser, soaps, dental kits, combs, cotton buds etc , if you forget anything.
All in all a brilliant hotel and it deserves its 5* rating
