Visited the Rixos again in April 2011 with family and it was brilliant.

Plenty to do, weather was great, company was fantastic....

Lots have changed since our last visit with new bathing area on the beach, new restaurant on the beach, new nightclub and bar.

The downside was that the watermark had not opened until May 1st but would have probably been to cold to into....

All the staff are attentive and pleasant and it was good to see old as well as some new faces at the hot.

Will be returning, yet again, lol, in July 2011 as to us now it's like a home from home.

We have had 4 holidays in Turkey and this was probably the best hotel yet. We stayed in the Troy rooms, which are in a very peaceful area of the hotel grounds, and had a 10 minute stroll to the pool & beach but the gardens were very pretty & well kept, that it was a pleasant walk. The restaurants were very nice but had to be booked 2 days in advance for the evening meals and that was a bit of a chore! However, the Mosaic buffet restaurant was OK if you didn't get booked into anything else. The rooms we had were very spacious, albeit a little bit dark, but the beds are so comfortable, we slept really well. The room maids were really helpful and they appreciated our attempts at speaking their language! The only thing we didn't like was the fact that to eat in the Ying (Asian) restaurant, there was a charge. So we did not go there. And the Bar Street also charged for their use. So we did not go there either. The Aquapark was there to be used free of charge but we did not get round to visiting it . We have put that on the list for our next visit!

We had a lovely family holiday and could not fault the Rixos apart from the very bad service in the restaurants and bars. We stayed at the Susesi last year and the service provided there was outstanding. We struggled to get served in the variousbars and on numerous occasions gave up. The tables were not set in the main restaurant. We had no cutlery, napkins etc. and the waiters did not clear the tables. Such a shame to be let down in this field. Hopefully the management will rectify this for future guests.

My vacation was from 19.05.2011 to 26.05.2011. in short brief, i was in Antalya several times and stayed in different hotels like Kremlin hotel, Lares hotel, dragon hotel. Moreover,I stayed in several hotels around the world, and all of them are the same in service and food.
However, when I have stayed in Rixos, I noticed that this hotel is different in several aspects. However, to start with the room, the room is very good, cleaned, bathroom is big; the toilet is separated from bath shower. However, it is important to note that we booked with this hotel as sea view, but our room was partially sea view. We asked the receptionist to change it to us he gave us lake view. What I mean, it seems that the sea view is lake view and they do not have many rooms that have sea view. So do not book as sea view.
As for the food and the restaurant, they are very good, the main restaurant Mosiac is the best of them, since it over look to the sea view, and has a variety of delicious dishes and food, and different taste and different cultural cuisine. As for the waiters, they are well dressed and smiley, and very happy to help you if you asked them.
But I highly recommended to use the 1001 restaurant since, it give you special treatment and more attention, in addition to this, you choose your food raw in order to cook to you.
As for the pool and the beach, they are very clean and tidy; the pool is very close to the beach, which you can see both the pool and sea in the same stand.
as for the service, you feel that the waiters in the bars are overloaded, since when you asked them for a drink while your in the pool area, they are late in bringing the drinks.
As for delphinium, it is chargeable and cost 25 euro per person kid 3 years old 20 euro, is not worth the cost at all. And overcrowded by people
As for the troy aqua park, it is ok, but sometimes is overcrowded and it is free of charge for hotel guest.
The entertainment is the same as the hotels, nothing special
It is luxurious but old,
What really impressed me is the fountains show, every night the fountains are danced on music, and at the end of the show, the fountain is converted to a large screen exhibits an ad about Rixos hotel.
It is worth to watch. Although this hotel is expensive, it is worth to go.

This is myself and partner's second visit to this hotel, we stayed here last September and had an amazing time so we decided to treat ourselves and go again as it was our 10th anniversary.Well we were not disappointed.We even got upgraded and a lovely bottle of wine and fresh fruit were waiting when we arrived.Please do not listen to any negative reviews this is a true 5 star hotel.We have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the Caribbean and this hotel is just as good.The food,drink, and all the amenities all are first class.Do not be put off it is an excellent hotel.We will be back!

Fantastic hotel with an all inclusive package. Staff, food room and service all excellent.
However,
I was part of a golfing group of 16 players and this hotel is geared up for families and couples.
There was loads of resteraunt seating however it was nearly all in the reserved areas which as a party of 16 we could never book and had to make do with eating outside (when warm enough) or in spare seats in the adjoining resteraunt rooms. We only ate together once in the whole week.
The other problem as that the resteraunts closed (and food quickly removed) at 9:30. This made quite a rush as we rarely got there before 9:00 after a days golf and the odd aperatiffe...
All Inc. did include a H24 bar but all the night clubs charged for drinks which were very expensive...
Great hotel but don't book it for a golf tour.

we stayed there from 24th april-1st may 2011, in brief, the hotel is huge & very plush but the service was not good at all, there was NO evening entertainment as we were 'out' of season, the water park which is part of the hotel is great but only opened on our last day (we did know this unlike some guests who didnt before they booked) and that is the main attraction . The hotel is almost too huge as it takes forever to get to the pool or buffet , the a la carte restaurants are impossible to book & some have extra charges,you have to pay to go to the chinese one. the kids club was great ,our 7 year old loved it. We have stayed at the Voyage ,belek, twice and would say the food & service is much better there,also you dont pay for chinese there.
the location is good, all the hotels in belek seem to be on the beach with jettys,
go to belek market on a saturday to get bargains or belek town centre, dont buy in the hotel shops they are a fortune!!
the outside amphitheatre opened the night before we left & I felt the dance show had some unsuitable material for kids,too 'adult' content and some scary bits involving them dressed up as dictators through the ages with a mock shooting and one of them getting their hand cut off?????
I know in the summer they have loads more to do there and the kids club changed on the 1st may from 5.30pm finishing to midnight!!! but we felt if the service and food was poor in out of season time I wouldnt want to be there in the summer!
we expected more.

Troy Aquapark is opening every year on 1st of May and we are informing the travel agencies at the beginning of every season. For our concept, it is named as all inclusive and all exclusive. While deciding for a holiday place or booking a room process all hotel or travel agency representatives are able to show you or explaine you the hotel concept and answer your all questions that you need. Under the all inclusive and all exclusive concept, our guests are able to find inclusive services as 7 a la carte restaurants, bars, entertainment programs,etc... and also our guests are able to find some special areas which are not inclusive as Bar Street with its 3 different bars and special entertainment programm, YING Asian restaurant etc.. We are trying to give different alternatives in the hotel for different preferences. All holiday planners are able to get and read these details before they book our hotel. While we are having a show in anfitheatre ( world famous TODES, Chinese Circus, Pirates Show, etc..) , live music at the pool bar or at an other place after the show and night club which is opening at 23:00 ( inclusive concept ), also we are presenting a Dj Preformance or Jazz Music or etc.. at the Bar Street ( exclusive concept ). We opened our anfitheatre to the season with the world famous group TODES which you explained as unsuitable and scary show. You can check it's official web page that all readers can get information about the show group. Our kids club is presenting kids disco and activity programm from 20:30 till 00:00 at the night time. We also present magic and circus shows which are also taking interest of kids and our kids club animators are bringing the kids to anfitheatre for watching this programms.
