Hi, this is the third time that we have stayed at the Rixos Premium Belek and what can I say about it........ It just gets better and better.
The last time we stayed was July 2010 and decided to come back in December for Xmas and New Year, and glad we did, this place was the best ever, food, clients, service etc.
We met and got friendly with families and couples from France, Germany, Azerbijan, Russia and are all going back in July 2011.
there is more to do in July with the AquaPark being open and also the outside pools will be warmer, but there was still plenty for us to do and the weather was great, better than the UK, with temperatures ranging from 19-30 degrees.
If you are looking for somewhere special to take the hubby, wife or kids then this is the place to go, we have been to Dominique, Mauritius, Cyprus, Dubai etc but this place wins hand down.

This was our third trip to turkey is an many years. We had previously been to the Gloria serenity resort which is vastly superior to the rixos premium. The staff at the rixos are not alert or attentive enough to want to bother serving you for drinks when you are sat in the lounges. The pool area is completely inadequate in size given the size of this hotel. They should convert part of the vast lake into a swimming area to cater better for the guests. I was asked to change out of my flip flops into other shoes by one of the members of staff at the door to the main restaurant, despite many other guests already present in the restaurant area already wearing flip flops. When I asked to speak to a manager regarding this, he allowed me to enter the restaurant in flip flops, so this shows the staff do not know the hotel rules they are trying to implement. Towards the end of the holiday I needed to visit the hotel doctor. What shocked me the most was that he tried to barter with me over the amount he would charge as his fee for me visiting him. I would not recommend this hotel in terms of staff attitude and value for money. Go two hotels east along the coast to the Gloria serenity as it is a far superior 5 star hotel!

Been there for a company visit in December. I had high hopes of the hotel prior to my visit because of the brand recognition of Rixos in Turkey. However, I was completely surprised of the quality I have seen at the hotel. The entrance and the lobby could give you a misleading image of what you should expect.. the rooms are pretty spacious however, nothing special about them (beko TV on a 5 star hotel).. And when I stepped out to the balcony at night, I was welcomed by the smell of the barbeque from the kitchen.. The open buffet is very ordinary.. I pushed myself really hard to like something.. The bar and the disco at night reminded me the old nightlife 10-15 years ago.. Overall, I am glad it was a company visit and that I did not pay a dime for this hotel.... definitely wont be back for another time...

Having arrived at the hotel after been up half the night before run myself nice bath jumped in and the water kept disappearing seemed to be a problem with the plug so called reception and a man came to try to fix it. 3 nights in a row same
problem and they could not fix it it was just a joke. We have a 6 year old son and our room had a glass balcony which we thought was very dangerous as it was very loosely attached to the wall.
The beach was absoulty firtly and the water park attached was a health hazzard as the steps leading up to the slides were all rusty and did not look at all safe.

Some of the staff were helpful and pleasant but alot of them very very rude and not very helpful.

My husband ordered 1 malt whisky and it was 20 euros when he signed for it when we went to check out they tried to charge 40 euros and they had changed the slip from a 2 to a 4 just chancers.

Having to book the restaurants was a pain half of them had been closed for the season so there was not much choice if you could get into them. You would go to book and they would say they were full, on the evening we went to the chinese it was half empty.

We arrived at 3am!! but reception were ready for us. It was obvious that we were to stay in marble Halls.Large and airy marble clad reception and stairs and halls. A helpful english speaking costyme dressed porter showed us an excellant room with sea view that was a bit of a walk from the lifts. Breakfast took a bit of finding, but when we did it was overwhelming with vast choice and many places to sit in comfort including a large shaded terrace. The walk to the beach was quite a way but all in the private grounds and crossed a bridge over the largest swimming we have seen. We sat on loungers and mattresses with shades and tables quickly brought by staff who did not look for a tip! but we did.There was waiter service to where we lay and the all inclusive drinks are very good and very varied There are adequate loos and showerts at the beach. There are many places for lunh we enjoyed "Fishbone" an open air shaded restaurant set in it's own secluded area. To dine in the evening the choice is very wide There are a series of a la carte restaurants though not all are open in the winter months we found the best to French and then Italian The Chef's Bistro (at lunch time) has a fine position but a somewhat limited menu The main bar is discreetly (dimly!)lit ,has an excellant duo (piano and violin) and a good view of nightly 'Dancing Lights' show. All in all more than enough to fill your time. But it is the Staff who break or make a holiday They were great too many to mention them all but we especially mention Ozlem Bakir (Customer Relations) long may she continue but we fear that she must soon be promoted Everywhere we went we were treated with smiles and laughter and real help and all of them seemed to remember you next time. If you want a small quiet hotel this is not for but if you seek five star service masses to do or to do nothing but sit read eat and drink then Rixos is for you We must mention the medical service which alas I needed It was quick and very efficient with a doctor always on call actually in the Hotel We shall return.Michael and Pamela Newman

I travelled to Rixos in the the first week of october sorry for late review . Well the hotel is huge it is very clean. I am sorry its not 7 stars as quoted by Turkish tourism board. I do travel to lots of five star hotels and i do agree this is a Nice hotel but the service is not Five ****

Service & Restaurants
IT was a bit slow to get a drink in the bars the food halls was crazy and the food selection was not great . I stayed at the Cornelia Diamond belek in August and the food quality was Fanastic . My Family Could not get any bookings of the Al a 'carte restaurants for the whole stay , I hope you have better luck than me. IF you order room service you must pay i am puzzled by this as it is a all - inclusive hotel

Was cleans , Large space, the room could do with updating for a five star hotel Cornelia diamond Room was beautiful and up to date .

Troy Waterpark
My family was lucky it was still open but was closing at the end of the week due to end of season lots of the slides where closed , wave machine closed , But my daughter still enjoyed the slides which where open .The water park is next to the hotel. I can only imagine how packed it must get in the summer time the staff say it hold 3000 people and the slide waiting time is around 1 hour .. Good luck if you travel in July/ August..

The beach was ok plenty of sun beds , clean swimming pool but frezzing . Be careful when you take your kids to indoor pool there was no slip mats and my partner slipped over smashed his head . There is plenty of pool activties , There is a kids club , bowing alley ,

My Overall review is the hotel is too big to give you the good service plus the food hall quality is not great i PREFER a smaller hotel where i receive a better service PLUS FOOD QUALITY.

I SHALL NOT BE RETURNING WITH MY FAMILY .

We booked this trip on the basis that the water part (TroyAqua) would be open. We were staggered (and our children devastated) to find that it wasn't yet no mention had been made of this on the hotels website or when we booked.
What's more of the 13 stated restaurants at the hotel only 8 on average were open whilst we were there and getting any decent food after 9.30pm was very difficult indeed. This hotel clearly doesn't understand that they were running at half pace whilst many British families were there for half term and dropping into "winter" mode in the last two weeks of October simply isnt good enough. I would estimate that the hotel was at least 75% full.
Overall these failings appear to be sympamatic of the Turkish attitude to customer service, which is definitely a "make do" attitude and not worthy of a hotel professing to be "top class". Frankly for these reasons we wouldnt rate the hotel at more than 4 star and will not be returning.
