jut got back from the arcadia and what an amazing 11 nights we had. flights all on time. was in our room within 15 mins of checking in. we were in the main hotel block and it was very clean and good size for me my partner and 14 yr old son. all the pools are really good with lovely clean surroundings. it was very hot when we were there so my partner and i spent most of our days on the lovely clean beach, which has a bar which serves all soft, alcoholic and hot drinks and of course the brilliant M,cadia burger bar which my 14 yr old loved (and us)!! after 2 days my son met up with reece and tom and we hardly saw him as there is so much for them to do. the animation team work their socks off but my word they knew how to put on brilliant shows night after night..amazing. they also work all through the day keeping everyone entertained. The choices of where and what to eat is superb and the food is endless. we enjoyed the lykia bar at lunch. we tried the chinese one night and compared to what we are used to, this was delicous and worth the 5 euros all day long. we took a couple of trips into belek on the tractor trailor. the little town is beautiful, with plenty of shops and the market on saturday is a must. there is a brilliant supermarket at belek (carnt remember the name) it,s red and begins with G and is like a big spar shop!! sells everything and cigs sre the cheapest there. be warned the arcadia shop is really expensive so it,s worth a euro and experience to pop 2 mins on traco=tor trailor to belek. all in all i have not got one complaint about this holiday it was brilliant. JUst one thing you will not get a smile from anyone that isnt english, turkish or dutch, butn we didnt let that get to us cause i was enjoying the whole arcadia experience to much!! BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Arcadia Hotel for two weeks and it had everything we could have wanted... fantastic weather, a great hotel with good choice of restaurants and variety of food and the entertainment and sports on offer meant that there were always things to do.

We also had some good day-trips to nearby Antalya and Side which we also enjoyed thoroughly.

It was the first time we had been to Turkey and to be honest, I was a bit apprehensive, but the hotel's staff were fantastic and the cleanliness of the place was also first class!

I would definitely recommend and will be back at the Arcadia again in the near future!!

This was our third visit to this fantastic hotel which just keeps getting better, even more facilities, entertainment, and staff who go out of their way to make our holiday special. Beautiful spacious grounds and gardens make it an ideal place to spend days in the sun. Great pools for either messing about in or just have a cool dip. Entertainment team are on the go all day non stop to ensure no one is bored. Terrific shows and party nights or just as we did a lot relax in the lobby area. Food is great especially the chinese and italian restaurants, the chefs really do know how to serve up wonderfulmeals. Beasch is clean and safe with life guards and security staff in place all the time. We loved making friendships with the staff who are so hard working and nothing is a problem to do for you.Hello to Isa at the beach bar who remembered us again after 4years ! also Ayse at the lobby bar and Musti for some great darts games !! We have got great photos and memories and cant wait to go back to be spoilt again!

Arrived at 7.30am after a 3 hour delay and travelling all night, check in was quick, shown to our room, which smelt musty and looked like a cave, was offered a different room when we opened the door it smelt like urine and the beds hadn't even been changed. After complaining again we were told to stay in first room overnight and we would be moved the next day into the main building which they did.

This was minor with what happened with the kids club. We left our 6 year old son in one afternoon to watch a balloon clown, we were told the kids would be an hour then back to kids club to watch a movie. When my husband called round to check on him he was told by a member of staff, that she had let him go off on his own back to mummy. Realising he hadn't returned we then began the frantic search of trying to find him, one member of staff offered to help but showing no concern! After 10-15 minutes our son was found returning back to the kids club thankfully unhurt but very distressed. We later found out he was allowed to leave with 2 Russian boys it doesn't bare thinking about what could have happened to him. We approached guest relations and to be honest they were no help and seemed more concerned about covering their own backs. The following morning we seen our Thomas Cook rep she showed even less concern than the hotel but she did inform us that this was the second incident of this kind within a week which we found very disturbing. Please be wary if you are travelling to this hotel with children and planning to use the kids club as we wouldn't want anyone to experience the fear that we went through.

GRManager, LIMAK HOTELS MANAGEMENT at Limak Arcadia Golf & Sport Resort, responded to this reviewResponded 28 July 2010

Our Kid’s Club is a brand new purpose built facility, where we control the movements of all children. The above incident did not happen in the mini club, the activity with the clown takes places in the Lykia Bar with lots of children and their parents in attendance. This is not an enclosed space, and we were not informed by either parent that they were leaving the show, had we known then of course our staff would have been more vigilant.

Both the Guest Relations Manager and Animation Manager talked to the parents on more than one occasion, but our attempts to help were met by a shrug of the shoulders. The safety and wellbeing of the children in our hotel is paramount and Melissa, our Mini Club supervisor, is very experienced and professional, as our other reviews here testify. We are sorry if our guests experienced any distress but must make it clear that this type of incident is not a regular occurrence.

My wife and I have been going on package hols for many years but never to Turkey. We just didn't fancy Turkey. However, my son and is family booked the Arcadia golf resort in August 2009 and on their return recommended, knowing how fussy my wife, that we should give it a try. We are glad they did for this is the best package holiday that we have bought. The food and accommodation were first class and the cleanliness of the hotel and pool area just perfect. The facilities from beach area, bars, restaurants were just brilliant and I can't praise the staff enough for their friendliness and willingness to help. The lovely town of Belek is just a 10 min walk from the hotel and you can get the Wally Trolly just outside the hotel entrance and it only cost a couple on NTR. We will certainly be going back to this fabulious hotel new May....

For the third time we went to Arcadia, ... food was very good, choise enough,..
clean hotel, friendly personal and management. Ahmed, F&Bmanager gave us a good "welcome home" feeling. The staff is very friendly.
Also the animationteam is also super, allways smiling from morning till evening, making own shows,.. really, good job!
The kidsclub is super, .. they build a brandnew fairytale house for kids, airco, very modern, and Melissa, head of kids animation speaks 5 languages and is super with kids and enough other animators to help.
I m going back :))

We returned from Turkey in the early hours of this morning (18th July) and it has been one of the best holidays we have ever been on. Our party consisted of 3 adults (40+) and 3 teenagers (14, 16 and 19) and everyone of us would strongly recommend it to everyone and anyone, of any age. The hotel itself is gorgeous, it is not as sleek and shiny as some of the hotels in the area which makes it far less initmidating. The pools are all fantastic, each one of them with a different atmosphere. The main restaurant is beautifully laid out with food for everyone. There is a wide variety of choice and even the fussiest eater will not be able to moan (I should know), the amount of meat there is insane and the fresh fruit is just gorgeous. One evening the group ate at the Chinese restaurant and all enjoyed it.
The thing that made our stay fantastic was the staff and the entertainment team. They all put in very long hours and work extremely hard to cater for everyone and to involve everyone. The bar staff are very efficient and will always serve you with a smile. The entertainment team are incredible, there is always something to do, every hour of everyday. The days are packed with sports in the pools or beach games for those that want to get involved and the evenings are a different subject all together. In the time we were there, we experienced the Gala evening which was a great way to get everyone together and had a great atmosphere; the White Ball which was amazing, with so much going on and had a real party atmosphere, however it possibly wasn't for the older generation. Also, the Turkish night was brilliant as you got to experience the food, dancing and the turkish party at it's best.
There are so many different nationalities there and the british are not a majority, so if you prefer a hotel and area mainly focussed on the British then this hotel and area isn't for you as Belek is very popular with the Russians, Germans and Turkish. If you are offended easily then the Russians could annoy you but if you are there to just take it easy and go with the flow then they are not that bad!
I would recommend everyone and anyone to go here. We have been on many holidays over the years yet this is the only one we would definitely go back to.

Big tip: Make sure you get to the markets! The fresh food and spices create the most amazing smells and the turkish daily life is amazing to experience.

Don't buy Burger King from the airport: £30 for 3 regular meals!

* One british group we met were on their fourth visit to the hotel, another were on their seventh.
