“'What an amazing Holiday!'”
Reviewed 6 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel in may 2011, this was are best holiday in years we didn't want to go home because we got on very well with the entertainers because they were kind and funny, we considered them like family. The rooms were very clean and Tidy, the beds were very comfortable. The food and drinks were ok, they had chicken , rice and other english foods and drinks. We looked at the reviews before we came and was slighty worried about being the only english there, but now i would rather go on a holiday with loads of russians because we had such a laugh with them even though we had no idea what they were talking about. We joined in with most activites there, they have pool games every lunchtime followed by evening show which were very funny and then a disco after which didnt end till 2 you would love it if your a party animal. Themed nights were the best staff would spend most of the day preparing for the night it was truly spectacular. We enjoyed it so much that were are going back this may

Sadly this hotel in no way lived up to the advice and reviews given to us by the tour operator. The room we were allocated was very basic and not very clean, especially the bathroom. It had definitely seen better days! The food was really only average and a real bun fight to get a table. The a la carte restaurants were booked up for the first ten days of our fortnights stay!! The Staff were more interested in serving the Russian clientele at the bars and the drinks were poor, unless you were happy with local beer! (never tasted a G&T like it!! -- very strange indeed) The pool was clean and a nice area but the regular outbursts of loud music and so called entertainment did not make for a relaxing holiday! Needless to say one day was more than enough at this resort - we just had to get out!! After much discussion with hotel management and our holiday rep and offers of upgrades, use of VIP area on beach, branded drinks and a table at the a la carte every night, we most definitely made the best decision to go to the Fabulous "Susesi"- what a fab hotel no comparison.

We stayed here in May 2011 for two weeks and had a fantastic time. As a family of 5 with 3 kids aged 13,13 and 11 we have always gone somewhere where it is 99% British so on our first day to find out we were the 1% for once i was a bit worried. But like I say a holiday is what you make it we joined in every pool game and activity going and even though sometimes we had no idea who won or what was even going on that was what was so funny. For the reviews which claim the russians, ukranians are miserable or don't smile as a general rule is rubbish, we found them very sociable and friendly even if every conversation was like a game of charades..but it was because we got involved in the games and events going on. I will accept that when it comes to food DAMN they can eat and they can waste it, but we had no problems treat the restaurant like you would the bar and stand your ground. We never experienced any problems in asking for drinks they seemed to understand or you could have a joke whilst trying to point to your favourite tipple. The evening entertainment was o.k the animation team work there socks off and do some decent shows however the themed nights were outstanding...pool party, garden party, white party, ghost party..... fantastic evenings, outdoor disco till 2 was brilliant as well.
The russians eat alot, drink alot and party alot but there was no loutish behaviour or kids roaming around in feral groups like british holiday makers, for the first time in 20 years I feel like I've been on holiday ....it was great being out of my comfort zone for once. We made so many good friends but if you sit there and moan cos its full of foreigners and cos they dont speak perfect English and dont want to dance and enjoy yourself, go and book a holiday at one of the "villages" where the brits are shouting all day,the kids are running riot and everything is finished by about 22.30 ( apart from bingo) and the pool closes every other day cos someone poos in it.

MARITIM PINE BEACH WAS GREAT

Room Tip: 3202 was a family suite facing the pool and beach but also the outdoor disco, 2 big bedrooms and 2 b...

The hotel was fantastically placed on the beach, very clean and beautifully kept. The children (8 & 11) had the best time at the water park. The food was amazing especially the barbeque on the outside terrace. If you come away dis-satisfied then you will find fault anywhere because we rated it 10/10.Everything you could wish for was provided and sorted out out for you.The staff were friendly and you need to stand your ground with some of the Eastern European guests as they don't seem to queue in the way that the Brits do. They are not rude but if you stand aside to let them pass you it could be some time before you reach the drinks machine. The only problem now is finding somewhere to go next year that will match up.

We stay 3 night in December 2011 and I must say this has been the most comfortable stay of ours. The Resort location is very attractive and full with lots of Orange, lime trees. The high light of the resort must be Restaurant with beautiful view of Hills, See and Resorts pool.

My husband, myself and our two sons of 10 and 13 stayed at this fabulous hotel for one week from October 20th 2011. On arrival at 3:00am we were greeted with an extremely polite male receptionist who upgraded us to a family suite which was very spacious with a separate room for the children that contained twin beds, a sofa, table and chairs. Our double room also had two chairs as well as a kingsize bed. It was very clean and the decor was classy. This was just the start of our discovery of the wonderful hotel. Our balcony looked out onto lush grounds with beds of marigold and pine trees. The next morning we discovered the rest of the hotel grounds which contained four fantastic swimming pools, a mini aqua park and then we found the way to the beach which was just the other side of a hedge near two of the pools. It is in a great location as it was very easy to catch the local 'dolmus' minibus into Belek centre to see the wonderful shops and market and also not too far away from the ancient city of Side with its extremely interesting theatre and ruins (not to mention more lovely shops!). Anyway, back to the hotel - it was spotlessly clean, the marble floors sparkled and what a pleasure to eat our breakfast and dinner on the terrace overlooking the pools. We ate our lunch either by a pool or at a table nearby. The food was delicious with so many choices there was something for everyone. The waiters often filled up our wine glasses or brought another drink for the children. We had a wonderfully helpful waiter called Mansur. However, some of the waiters did not seem to be too friendly - we were not sure if it was because we were English but it didn't bother us too much. The only complaint we had was that the water in the pools was very cold which explained why there were people around the pools but only our two children and sometimes my husband and I in the water! Also, half the slides were closed and when we arrived it was all closed as it was 'the end of the season' although we did complain at this as we were informed by our travel agent that they would be definitely open as the end of season was not until the end of the month of October. In conclusion we loved our holiday so much we plan to return to Maritim Pine Beach hotel next year and we have been recommending it to everyone we speak to!

Room Tip: We had some noise as our room was near a restaurant but are not sure how to specify what room to be...
