We are not the biggest fans of the Antalya All-inclusive scene, especially with so much beauty the other side of Antalya city, however we joined some friends in this place for 4 nights and were pleasantly surprised.
This hotel has the best rooms ever, even the "standard" we stayed in was far superior than experienced before. Huge 60+ m/2 areas including a shuttered terrace with nice big KS bed. Inside a 2m by 2m double with luxury mattered and decent bedding and pillows. A hot tub, in the room, stem room /shower combo and large walki in wardrobe and safe complete the multi-coloured mood lit space. Spotlessly clean, with bath robes, mini bar((s) one premium the other included) and mirrored walls to increase the space it was a nice place to spend time in before enjoying the other areas. The attention to detail is prevalent everywhere and you feel special to be a guest in this unique space, especially when looking at the neighbouring places doing the standard thing.
Outside two huge long pools, also a slide area. The slide area has a grown up feel to it, but as temperatures hardly reaching 22deg with a cool breeze we took refuge in the well equipped indoor pool and spa area.
The indoor pool is again enormous, and the mirrored space continues here creating a huge sensation of space. I was however disappointed that this multi themed pool only had the whirlpools working. The bubble beds and foot spas were disabled. (WHY?) two steam rooms, two saunas, an excellent splash pool and modern hamam complete the area, with a well equipped gym opposite with squash court.
The staff in the spa were mainly Russian and did not mix with the non Russian guests, so we were not introduced to any of the treatments available.
There was one guy pushing hamam massages only but he seemed to be outside of the spa facility.
The restaurants offered the same old all inclusive "all style no substance" fair, and for some reasons the lunch in the main restaurant was more substantial than the dinner, leaving a feeling of disappointment at the evening meal. This was probably to encourage people to eat in the premium restaurants, however these were not inviting at all, so with only 4nights we didn't bother.
The (Turkish) staff behind the food counters were extremely rude, and I could understand when the spoke badly in Turkish to guests who didn't understand them. Really cheap shots boys. Disgusting behaviour.
The centre of the complex is the Atrium bar. It is similar to a turbine hall in a power station! Amazing place, with excellent lighting and sound. The bar has "branded" alcoholic drinks included, but I was not surprised to find that they tasted "odd", and we're not that potent. Even the baileys had that aniseed aftertaste you find with locally produced alcohol.
I hate deception.
The entertainment is limited to a poor attempt to create a burlesque show, but instead girls in ropey erotic attire will gyrate repetitively in the four corners of the bar while the DJ irritated you with his pre-programmed effects in every track. After 3 nights I was missing a backgammon board!
The night club was an anticlimax compared to the atrium bar, and clearly designed for noise abatement after midnight.
So rooms 100%
Atmosphere and design 85%
Drink 20% (the ice tea was original!)
If you have any issues around modesty than avoid this place, if you can bare the usual Turkish all-inclusive scene and want an added adult luxurious theme the this place stands on it's own.
