“golf holiday”
Reviewed 13 May 2013

the hotel beat my expectations,we had a great week and there was not a lot i could fault, the pool areas were great the buffet restaurant was fabulous and we used this every day apart from one,we chose to try the steakhouse but were rather disappointed in the quality of the steaks and the over bearing waiter who thought he could do no wrong, the whole resort is well kept and lots to do for familys, the mix of guests range from kids to pensioners and i did not at any time see anybody abuse the all inclusive drinks.this was a great golfing holiday and would not hesitate in returning.

What a phenomenal hotel.

We are not normally "package holiday" types so we were a little apprehensive about booking a week all-inclusive in Turkey. The guests were a mix of families and groups of golfers with none of the feared lager louts etc.The overall atmosphere is relaxed and casual but also up-market.

We are pretty fussy when it comes to cleanliness but the lagoon duplex we stayed in (free upgrade it seems - nice touch!) was spotless, and the rest of the resort gave a similar clean and cared-for impression. It's easy for such large resorts to fall into disrepair but at the Voyage Belek we saw continual maintenance and improvement going on (and it was always discreet and without disturbing the guests). A huge compliment to management on this.

The food options were impressive. Very wide selections at the buffets and (for buffets) pretty decent quality. But book one of the free a la carte restaurants and you will have the treat of a pretty high-end restaurant experience - e.g. the Italian restaurant was a 6-course meal with multiple choices of each course. Such an extensive menu of that quality would have easily cost 70-80 EUR a person back in Germany. Unbelievable that this was part of the all-inclusive. Teppanyaki Japanese and Chinese also of similar quality. Unfortunately at Easter it was chilly in the evenings so we didn't get to experience the other (outdoor) a la Carte restaurants.

The bar and lobby areas have an great cocktail menu and even that is without extra payment. We loved to sit in the (quieter) reception area in the evenings sipping Mojitos etc.

The lagoon duplex we stayed in was the largest hotel "room" I have ever seen. Almost a small apartment over 2 floors each with a spacious bedroom and bathroom, plus a terrace and balcony. When we head back (not something we considered before, but now an absolute must!) we will definitely book this room type. It is a short walk from the main building but has the additional benefit of being quiet and feeling more exclusive.

The staff at the Voyage were mostly friendly, and absolutely provided great service.

Normally our teenage boys moan a bit about coming on vacation with us, but they also loved the Belek. After our day trips it felt like coming home to return there.

If you are looking for all-inclusive in Turkey then look no further. The Voyage Belek is all you could ask for.

If you found this review helful, I would appreciate your vote.

Room Tip: Lagoon Duplex is huge and great for a family - feels exclusive and is quiet.

we have just returned from this great hotel all revues are acurate however they need to adress the front desk issues with the staff, they need to learn some manners in how to deal with little issues ie change for tips for the staff and changing rooms that are noisey in the main building they really let this great hotel down

Room Tip: for a quiet room you need to be out of the main buildings

This all inclusively priced break got off to a bad start as there had been a communication breakdown between our booking agent and the hotel, we believe we had booked and know we had paid for12 rooms, initially we were told only 11 were available and the hotel was full, after creating a fuss and more than 2 hours later a 12th room mysteriously appeared,(with a sea view after overlooking the 12/15 airconditioning units) how totally unnecessary, if the manager had only adopted a more helpful attitude at the outset.Thereafter everything was excellent.
All the rooms in the main hotel building which has two separate wings were of a good size and clean, fresh towels everyday, and the beds were comfortable. There was also a range of other accommodation in blocks in the beautifully maintained grounds.
There is a choice of 8/9 restaurants some carrying small supplements of Euros10/15 per person, but the choice of food available in the buffet restaurants all beautifully prepared & presented is excellent, booking for the speciality restaurants for a party of 16 however did cause a few small problems.
All the hotel catering staff in the bars & restaurants were extremely polite, efficient & helpful.
Whilst children are welcomed here there are separate bars, restaurants and swimming pools for the over 16's so if you want a quieter holiday it can be had.
The evening entertainment was varied and of a very high standard, the magician who performed non stop for over an hour was amazing.
We were a party of 16 golfers and this hotel is a very good base for the many excellent courses in the area the majority of which are less than a 20 minute transfer away.
This was our 6th time to the Belek area of Turkey we will definitely be returning to the Voyage but with our accommodation more firmly fixed next time!

Room Tip: Higher level rooms have better sea views above the a/c units

We have just spent two weeks at the Voyage Hotel in Belek.
The Hotel and the staff were excellent. We were a party of four adults and the hotel caters great for that. There is a adult only buffet, which you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner in. A adult only bar. Adult only swimming pool, beach and pier. Unless we walked around the main pool you would not have known there were children there.
The A'La carte restaurants are fantastic. The steak house was amazing and well worth the 15 euros extra charge you have to pay for this restaurant. The Chinese was great and our waiter Huseyin Kaya was excellent and really looked after us. Our other favourite was the Mexican and again our waiter Maurat looked after our every need and certainly kept the Tequila flowing.
The rooms were large clean and well looked after. Our only problem was a hard bed, which we have recently found out that they give you a mattress topper if you ask.
The service by all the staff was excellent and we all have agreed we would definitely go back.
We have all come home very relaxed, thank you to you all at the Voyage.

Spent a week golfing here with a group of friends, the golf courses were superb.Played golf on six days and so only had one free day to have a look around.Walked into Belek nothing there other than cheap clothes shops for the tourists not worth the bother, had a walk along the beach but dissapointed, was gray and dirty looking. That just left what the hotel had to offer and i cant speak highly enough of the staff, food and the branded drinks all excellent. The pool areas and the gardens are superb but if all you want to do is sit round the hotel for a week why fly all that way when Spain is so much closer and the beaches are better.

Room Tip: Take if you have to get up at night as the bed base sticks out about 4" and can result in pain...
