Stayed at the hotel with my 3 year old daughter. The shows are wonderfull and evening activities as well. The main restaurant disapointed us however there are 2 very good outside restaurants. The facilities the rooms are very nice especially the the river like pool with sea water.
However the attitude of the personel was very bad. Maybe because I am a Russian speaking guest but anyhow I had to ask for everything twice, no one is smiling etc.
There are a lot of small children there however nothing is done for them no toys for the sand or special food.
Although we lived on allinclusive basis there were some small things that were not included.

For example the ice cream next to the pool is for free but at the beach you have to pay for it, it is small things but they spoil our vacation.

The spa was great, at my opinion this hotel is for adults only.

We were after some late Summer sun and a relaxing beach holiday (as well as an extra special memory - see below!). Our time at Gloria Serenity was all that we hoped for and lots more.

The resort is beautiful and well located on a lovely clean beach. The resort itself was spotless and the spa facilities outstanding. Although there were a few specialist restaurants (including an Asian and French), we found that the main restaurant buffet was so good that we didn't book with the other restaurants (which would have also meant that we had a little more flexibility with our day not having to stick to a "dinner time"). We always found ourselves eating a little too much at breakfast and dinner because the food was so good and plentiful with lots of choice. I did find the desserts a little on the unusual side tho'...

There are a fair amount of activities if you wish to take advantage of them - sports at the resort and on the beach (including volleyball in the morning, basketball, tennis and of course golf), a couple of bars (where there is a bowling alley, table football and computer games), a cinema showing a different movie every night and an evening entertainment show (usually dancing or acrobatics).

Words simply cannot express the quality of the staff and their service and assistance. I had previously contacted the hotel to ask if they could arrange a simple wedding ceremony and the staff could not do enough to help with my request even though they only had a matter of a few days to pull it all together. I can hardly believe that ours was the first wedding at the hotel as the staff were all so professional and helpful. Our day was simply perfect.

And the staff's kindness and generosity did not stop there - after our wedding, we were surprised with some additional lovely gestures including a fruit platter and breakfast in our room. This really was beyond the call of service!

All in all, the location, hotel and staff were impeccable, If you are fortunate enough to visit the Gloria Serenity, you will not be disappointed!

All that has been said below is true. We chose this Hotel because of the previous reviews and were not at all disappointed. Quite the opposite. As so many new good reviews have just been posted, I actually decided not to write this time but my husband convinced me that the Hotel and especially its staff deserve another good one in order to keep it up as the first choice on tripadvisor in Belek!
Great Food, amazing service, good beverages, great massages at the SPA (very picy though), great entertainment, only our room wasn't too clean at arrival but I guess we just had the only cleaninglady in the entire resort that did not take her job too serious as the rest of the resort is absolutely spotless!!!!
We will definetly go back!
You should just go and see for yourself. Its great alone, with your partner or with your entire family. Plus, when we were there at the beginning of October, it was truely international. We met people from Sweden, Danmark, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Latvia, England and many more what created a very nice atmosphere.

We stayed at the Gloria Serenity for a fortnight from the 7th September this year for our honeymoon and had the best 2 weeks of our lives. A lot of what we'd like to say has already been said, the resort is fantastic, clean and immaculately kept gardens, great service, excellent restaurants to choose from (all catering for me as a vegetarian, even in the steak house and the a la cartes) we stayed in a garden villa and even though there were only 2 of us and we had an extra bedroom it was well worth booking - we had so much space and really started to feel at home as we had a lot of privacy rather than staying in the main hotel block, it was perfect.

On arrival we had a bunch of red roses, champagne and 2 heart shaped strawberry desserts welcoming us to a 'honeymoon to remember' and it certainly was, we couldn't fault it. The pools were amazing, the pavillions were idyillic, right on the beach front with a pavillion butler waiting on you at all times during the day (Hassan - the pavillion manager was amazing and made the 3 days we spent at the pavillions perfect for us). The all inclusive was fantastic, huge choice on the cocktails and all branded alcohol, even I had to admit there was only so many corona's and Rum Kiwi Daisy's you could drink in a day!

Belek itself was a bit of a let down as there wasn't anything there really, but having so much to do on the resort we didn't need to go anywhere else, the entertainment was wonderful at the ampitheatre and the live music at the bars of a night were excellent.

We've travelled to hotels in Sri Lanka, Thailand, Eygpt, Maldives, Goa and honestly the Gloria Serenity beat all of them hands down. A truly special 2 weeks and a place we will definately return to. Don't have any second thoughts - book a holiday here and you won't regret a single minute of it!

If you want a holiday of luxury, pampering and indulgence then this is the place for you. The staff are exemplary in every way and in particular the bar and restaurant staff are not only the hardest working we've ever encountered but the most friendly and charming.
All inclusive can mean a separate menu and 'local' drinks at some hotels - at Gloria Serenity it means 24 hour access to top notch food and drinks. The main buffet was always of a high quality. For no extra cost you can eat at one of the A la Carte restaurants at Serenity or Golf and we can highly recommend this option. You can eat at each restaurant once a week. The restaurants have a great ambience and excellent service. The food in particular at Pescado and Le Jardin was superb. Children are allowed in all restaurants which was irritating at times although Le Jardin only allows children on Thursdays. The mainly Russian / Ukrainian guests had a tendency to plonking their child in front of a DVD player at the table but they ran around anyway. One point to watch out for - at the restaurants over at Golf they only bring you the non inclusive wine list where not particularly impressive wines start at 28 euro. Ask for the all inclusive wine list.
Our standard room was huge and very well appointed. The landscaping was innovative and meant that you almost always had your pool area to yourself. We loved going to the bar at the end of the pier at sunset for cocktails. Only one of the indoor bars allows smoking which was great for us.
The evening entertainment again was excellent.
We thought Belek itself horrible and not worth the 7 euro taxi ride.We hired a car and went to Aspendos and Perge - both were fantastic but the rest of the area is uninspiring.
Don't take Turkish lira. We did and were happy to get just on 2 lira to the pound. We then found that everything is priced in euros. When we said we only had lira they then doubled the euro price. Hence our 7 euro taxi ride became 14 lira. If we had taken euros we would have saved around 20p in the pound. As Turkey isn't even in the EU yet I am bewildered as to how they have an economy based on euros - and they really don't want to be paid in lira!
Gloria Serenity is a hotel that has trained its staff superbly, that takes customer care seriously and offers incredible value for money. We have travelled all over the world and this is truly one of the best hotels we've stayed in.

Returned home and could not think of any improvements I would make. Food and drinks along with staff were 5 star.
Maybe a little quite for kids but the other Gloria Hotels have the things to do for kids which you can use anytime.
We chose this hotel because of the previous reviews but do not think they did it justice. We viewed the villas and only realy worth booking if you more than two in your party. Our room in the main hotel was more than we needed, with walk-in shower and jacuzzi bath. Free internet in all rooms, free mini bar with beers and sprits filled daily. We arrived at 3 am and the lobby bar was still open, we even checked in at the bar and our luggage was taken to the room before us.Our only complaint was Thomas Cook Flight no leg room, but our Rep booked us exit seats for the return with no charge. Our only expense at the hotel was 3 euro for room service. We are hoping to return in October with two young gransons and have a villa with the private pool.
