“Best holiday yet - total relaxation”

Wow, what an incredible place. We stayed here for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it (1 week will leave you longing for more!!). Don't book through Thomas Cook though who were disappointing - book it direct. The food, the beach, the staff, the golf, the luxury and of course the amazing Spa are world class and the best we have experienced. We cannot wait to return and met many people who have stayed a number of times there which is always a good sign. The friendliness of the staff was the most impressive of anywhere in the world we have been, they made you feel part of the family...thank you Umut + team for a most enjoyable stay. I wish i could remember the name of the restaurant manager who took care of us. I played 4 rounds of golf (fantastic courses especially Nick Faldo course nearby) relaxed by the pool, enjoyed walks on the beach and loved spending time in the Spa. The treatments were excellent and strongly recommend the exotic Turkish bath on the first day for a longer lasting tan. I was addicted to the rainforest shower in the Spa (:-))...so refreshing with its mixed temperatures. We just simply had a great and romantic time with fantastic restaurants, incredible entertainment (shows were great) and we met some lovely people there. Definitely go all inclusive as there is absolutley no need to go outside the resort as it is an oasis at gloria and the inclusive deal is of high value. My partner and I arrived there extremely tired from our tough jobs but were completely transformed within 2 weeks. However do not book through Thomas Cook, they were disgraceful with the way they treated us - they virtually got every part of the booking wrong and claimed otherwise (fortunately i checked everything direct and changed many items at my own cost)! We booked 3 items through the rep and she let us down on 2 of them, hardly believeable but true. One of the excursions Thomas Cook let us know it was cancelled the evening before!! Strongly recommend you book it direct and fly with another airline with seats that are clean and with some form of legroom. Anyway, Thomas Cook aside we would like to return to Gloria at some point through a direct booking and cannot wait.

Stayed at this hotel on an all-inclusive basis and found this to be excellent as it was very expensive for food & drinks, if only staying on a half board basis, maybe this was because everything was priced in Euro's and not Turkish Lira, which we found suprising.

The room was spacious & well appointed and also very clean, with a well stocked mini-bar -which was part of the all-inclusive package, and this was re-filled on a daily basis with water, soft drinks, beer & spirits chocolate, pretzels, gum & haribo sweet 's !
We liked the huge bathroom with sep jacuzzi bath, wet room style shower and lots of toiletries supplied daily (colgate toothpaste, dove soap etc)
The grounds & gardens of the hotel were immaculate and always being "maintaned" by the gardeners etc.

The main buffet resturant had 4 diffrently sectioned seating area's and we liked this layout as there was always something different to look at ,and certain area's had better service than other's.

Of the Speciality Resturants our favourite was the French restuarant as the food and service was fabulous, although we only got to eat here once in our 2 week stay.
We also used the other speciality resturants namely the Agean & the Fish & Asian numerous times and also liked all of them.

My only negative would be the location of the hotel it was a bit further out from the centre of Belek and we had to use a taxi or the local dolmus as it was not whitin walking disrtance or on the "tourist train" route.

Overall we would recommenfd this hotel and would certainly return

Stunning hotel with all of the right ingredients for me its let down by the fact its all inclusive. However if all inclusive hotels are your thing then this is one of the best.

The food was good but for me the a la carte restaurant menus did not contain enough choices but a minor grumble.

The drink was fantastic and as long as you specified the name brand you want when ordering your drinks you always got the real thing. Unlike other all inclusives it also includes a fairly decent wine list thats part of your all inclusive from Italy, France etc. You can of course choose to push out to some of the other wines that aren't included but there really is no need.

The rooms where beautiful and the villas looked stunning. The only downside for us was the bed was a little to hard. We also found that getting our mini bar restocked was a virtual imposibility at times.

The pools and amenities are out of this world and you have a huge choice for your evenings entertainment.

The staff could have been more friendly but I often find that in an all inclusive the staff is always one of the key items to suffer a little. Having said this if you sit in the more lively bars the staff where a lot better. I found the biggest hurdle was that they spoke very little English. In fact the hotel was not really geared towards the English. However this is also a bit of a relief when your not faced with lager louts etc :o)

The golf according to my husband was great and worth a visit. The courses are not up to the standard of the Algarve but well worth a visit.

This place is fantastic! The staff are so friendly, the food superb in all a la carte & buffet restaurants. We had a duplex villa with sun deck and jacuzzi deck. It was sooo good! Superb resort for couples but do book a villa as you can have as much privacy as you want, live off the mini bar during the day and evening and let the most helpful staff I have come across refill it for you every morning to do it all again!. The evening entertainment was really good as were the bar areas at night.
We never go back to a resort twice but are seriously considering doing just that!
Fantastic! Go!

We have stayed twice at the Gloria Golf and found that to be excellent. We have 2 children and the facilities there cater for them with a super water park. However, we got a deal at the Serenity and had a pool facing Villa - absolutely fantastic. 2 beds, 2 baths, outside jacuzzi and very peaceful. Not much going on for the kids around Serenity so went to the Golf most days. Previously All Inclusive at the Serenity meant AI at the Gloria Golf and Verde but the hotel have changed that now and you have to pay 50% at these sister hotels. There was no loyalty goodwill for repeat guests, unlike some other hotels, as though they couldn't really care if you returned or not. Which is a shame and I think those are the only negatives. But that aside, the food, service, facilities were tops. Having champagne cocktails on the pier at sundown sums it all up - bliss. Russians were fine, not rude, liked the fact not many British there! Evening entertainment on the whole was good with some excellent acts in the outdoor amphitheatre and party on the peir. this ais a 5* hotel with everything you'd expect from a luxury hotel.Yes we would return. Met some fab friends and all in all just great.

Before arriving at Gloria Serenity we were really unsure what to expect. Even though we arrived in the early hours of the morning first impressions were very good and we ended up having an excellent fortnight.

For us 'all the boxes were ticked'. The whole place was spotlessly clean, service standards were very high and the place had the feeling of being very well run - it was a slick operation.

Our room was on the 4th floor of the main building and had a great view out across the med, the room was modern, clean and comfortable.

We tended to stick to the pool area during the day, no problems getting beds and we were able to find a quiet area which suited us.

Food standards were very good, the buffet tended to be very busy and on occasion you had to jump around to avoid those in a hurry but generally fine, the split in the main dining room was good as you could move around and feel like you were eating in different places. The show cooking outside the buffet was excellent, the chefs there were very accomodating.

The A la carte venues were again very good, the French restaurant in particular was excellent. The quality of food in the Asian restaurant was first class but the service could have benefitted from being a little slower, I think we were in and out of there in about 40 minutes. The A la carte seafood restaurants were good but beware as they are outside we found that we woke up next day with a number of sizeable insect bites.

So for a great couple of weeks, in a nice hotel with good weather and great food Gloria Serenity comes highly recommended. A few final thoughts, the clientele were mostly Eastern European but to be honest it was good to escape 'English' voices for a couple of weeks and they gave us no issues, a choice of bars in the evening would have been nice (Wall Street Bar was never open when we were there) and the music played in communal areas could be updated (mainly cheesy rock). Those are all minor gripes and all in all Gloria Serenity is a great spot well worth checking out.
