Have just spent a week at the Susesi and definately 5 star standard, the room was excellent and cleaned to a very high standard.

The complex was superb with lots of choices of places to eat and drink during the day and the bar by the swimming pool was very good you did not have to wait at all for a drink and the staff were very friendly.

Our main moan is the way they book the a la carte restaraunts, it was a shambles, you had to go to the guest relations desk at 10.00 a.m ( very unfriendly)and take a ticket , not what we expect from a five star hotel, and then queue at the desk of where you wanted to book your table, so the ticket meant nothing you still had to take a chance, however we did get to eat in the Italian,Mexican and Asian restaraunts and they were all excellent,we did notice empty tables in all these restaruants so not sure they are getting the bookings right.

The other moan is towels on sunbeds, we did not get to sit by the pool all week and even on the beach we struggled to get a bed, had to search for spare ones and put them together.

We would recommend the patisserie it was lovely and very tranquil to sit and relax with a lovely cake and coffee or tea.

Would we go back, no but overall a lovely hotel, but they need to sort the booking of the a la carte and also stop the guests putting the towels non the beds.

If you have preconceived ideas about "all inclusive" hotels etc , then forget them. This place is fantastic. There are no wrist bands to wear, there is no queueing for drinks and the service is impeccable. The buffet style meals have an unbelievable choice and you can even go into the a la carte restaurants and be treated like VIPs as part of the all inclusive package.
There is loads of space around several pools to sunbathe and there are no shortage of beds at any time we were there. There are snack bars and little treats for you everywhere from a full patisserie cafe to snack bars and several bars and even a bar on the beach in front of the resort (all part of the all inclusive package).
We would definitely go back and if we had known about the quality here we would have booked a 2 week holiday instead of 1 week..

Excellent service throughout.
Large and spacious with a large batroom and excellent outlook and access to pool from our balcony.
Good location only 25 mins from airport.
Best part was the whole holiday, theleast was the usual cramped flights.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel the first two weeks in September. The hotel is excellent but it is very large and does seem to be very much a family group hotel. I don't think we have been to a hotel with so many young children which does not make for a relaxing atmosphere. Don't get me wrong I like children, especially when spit roated and coated with hot butter Oppps, errr I mean I have children of my own but there were just too many and couples might feel overpowered.

The hotel is also very large and they cram as many guests in as possible so when it's full, dining can be a lottery to get a table we had to walk round twice on two occasions to find an empty table. Then we were told about the Aqua Bistro and joy, they do not let children under 12 in.

Most of the guests are from the old eastern block countries, 60% Romainians not Russian as some have said, nice people but clearly differing standards from the brits who form orderly queues.

Service is second to non, rooms spacious and clean, nothing seemed too much and we did have a great holiday but the shear size and the numbers put us off returning again.

Whilst not perfect this hotel offers great value for money whether your a family or just a couple. OK the hotel does have some faults, mainly the 2 day in advance booking system for the A la Carte Restaurants, but the Guest Relations staff are working hard to try and make this better. The main restaurant does get busy in the evenings and if you time it wrong can be a bit chaotic, but if you are a couple or a family with teenagers then you can get around this by using the excellent Aqua Bistro which can be book on the day. The on site shops also charge high prices, so take the tractor into Belek to do your shopping.
The hotel facilities are excellent and the garden are kept immaculate by the ground staff. Sometimes you have to get in early if you want a sunbed near the pools, but there are always plenty of sunbeds available in other parts of the gardens and surrounding areas.
The quality of the food is outstanding considering how many people the hotel is catering for, with plenty of choice and there is something which should meet the needs of the most fussy eaters. The food in the A la carte restaurants is worth the hassel of the booking system, and I would particularly recommend the Steak House and the Chinese. For those who like really spicy food then the Turkish Restaurant will be for you.
We found all the staff to be friendly and eager to please and the bar staff are always looking to fill up your drinks when your glass is empty.
The bedrooms are a good size with large bathrooms and are cleaned daily and the whole hotel is constantly being cleaned.
Ok so it's a big hotel and certain areas do get busy which you can expect at peak holiday time, but there are plenty of quiet areas in and around the hotel you can escape too if you just want some 'me time'.
In conclusion, when you go to the Susesi, you can eat well, be well looked after, drink as much as you want and not spend another penny during the rest of your holiday - want more do you want?

my wife and i chose this hotel for our honeymoon.we had been to many places before but this was to be our first trip to turkey.
this hotel is massive and i would say dont expect to find where everything is in a few hours because its not going to happen.it took us 2 days to find most things.
the main restaurant is very large both inside and the outside area, but with the amount of people staying ,to say its busy i think is an understatement.we chose to eat for dinner in the aqua bistro for 7 out of the 14 nights, which is really nice and quiet, also with an outside area.no kids allowed though.the other nights we visited the oriental , italian and steak twice and the mexican once.my fave was italian.
as people have said before, the booking system for these does not work well, but i would say its worth the effort and we always got the one we wanted.
for breakfast, again we went to the aqua bistro as they do a late breakfast from 10 to 11am,ok the range is not nearly as vast as the main restaurant but much quieter.kids are allowed in here in the morning.
there is a modern air conditioned 24 hour bar with a large outside area and a large pool bar amongest others.the service both in the restaurants and bars we found to be excellent..there is no going up to get a drink, you sit down and in a flash the waiter or waitress is over to offer you drinks, also they are always on patrol .your empty glass has just touched the table and they are there offering another, beer, wine, cocktails etc.
nice swimming pools and pls do swim up the lazy river to the other side of hotel where there is different swim areas with beautiful plants.
there was a large amount of russian and romanian guests and ok a few where a bit brash and loud but everyone was fine with us.to be honest i prefered them to a certain european nationality famous for putting towels on sunbeds very early :) although there did not seem to be that many of these at the susesi.
went to belek market on a saturday, its probably walkable but in the heat perhaps not a good idea.taxi rank outside hotel.hardly anything has prices on,both in shops or market, haggle ,haggle, haggle.they expect you to.in market i saw some nice shirts.i asked how much? he said 20 euros for 1.after a lot of negotiation i got 2 for 23 euros.
dont be afraid to walk away, they will soon call you back.
all in all we loved the susesi and it was a good decision.
would i recommend it? yes
would we go back? yes
enjoy
