A great find for us, as we were in Iskenderun with car to catch the ferry to Egypt. This place was cheap (90TL walk in, sure you could book for cheaper) for a large room, hearty breakfast, and secure parking. The staff couldn't have been nicer.

Highly recommended.

It is important not to forget how much one pays for a nights accomodation, less than twenty pounds. Yes, the hotel is a little tired, the bathroom shower wasn't great, but the water was hot after a while. The door lock was hard to operate, but secure, the most important thing.
On the positive side, the reception staff were helpful and friendly and spoke English. The room was serviced every day. There was a functioning lift, important when one is on the fourth floor. The hotel is very close to the coast and the centre of the city, and perhaps the best thing was the typically Turkish breakfast, as much as one could eat and drink, and included in the price.
Overall, a good choice and I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Room Tip: When I tried to book on-line there were no rooms available. When I went to the hotel, no problem!

I decided to stay there just after I read the first commentary. But I had some questions on my mind because of being 2 stars. But my decision was good. It was really very nice and sympatic hotel and I was very happy to choose there. the staff was very kind and helpfull. It was really interesting that this was hotel 2 starts only but the service was like 5 stars. I certainly recommend this hotel if you will stay in iskenderun.

The Hotel Cabir was a big step up from most of the fleapits we had been staying in during our trip around Turkey. We had a big double room that was warm and clean containing a mini bar, satellite tv and a bathroom equipped with a proper shower cubicle and hot water.
There was a comfortable foyer downstairs and reception staff were friendly and efficient.
The staff were helpful and attentive and no only did the lift work but there were bell boys who were willing to help with the luggage.
The breakfast was a very good buffet with a lots of items to choose from including tomato, cucumber, olives, cheese, bread and pastries, halva, eggs tea, coffee and fruit juices.
The room was a bit noisy as the hotel is located on a busy street.
Breakfast was
