“Fine Dining with staff to match.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

We reviewed this hotel three years ago. It remains worthy of it's 5 star rating and surprise, surprise we have booked for next year already.
The restaurant is a gem in it's own right however and is located in a tranquil and romantic setting within the hotel grounds. The chef, and waiting staff are professional, immaculately turned out and always attentive to a customer's needs.
The menu and wine list is an inviting prospect of joys to come with the quality, choice and standard of food in keeping with the high rating afforded to the hotel. Drinks at the bar, dinner at eight - the lights in the trees coming on at dusk - and you are guaranteed a romantic, fine dining experience. A Turkish coffee and maybe a Turkish brandy to finish will bring to an end a memorable experience.

This is a traditional guest house with beautiful garden and pool terraces. We loved the open breakfast and restaurant area, decorated with lovely out-door glass and ceramic lights. The restaurant was excellent; a combination of Turkish and English food. The quality of the food was superb; every evening there was a different chef’s special set menu and a choice from the a la carte menu. Afternoon tea was served at the pool and in the garden with the best scones (with cream and jam) I have ever tasted -divine! The best of all - the staff – nothing was too much trouble for them, professional, helpful, polite and with a sense a humour from the moment we checked-in to waving us goodbye. Bookings, trips and events were arranged at the guest house by Julie- she sorts everything out and was very professional, bubbly and sorted out our booking very quickly. Mehmet, the owner is charming, hospitable and took time to welcome all new quests and check during the holiday that guests were enjoying their stay. The whole stay was very relaxing thanks to the hard work of all the staff; we will definitely return next year.

Room Tip: The rooms are simple but kept spotlessly clean. The first floor rooms are newer than the ground floo...

Myself and my husband visited this restaurant four time during our stay at the horrendous hotel next door! The food, staff and atmosphere were amazing! It is a hotel that we would love to stay at when we next visit turkey!! Highly recommended and worth a visit even if staying elsewhere!

We were staying at a hotel near here, and after deciding we could not face the extremely poor food anymore we were told about the Yakamoz Hotels restaurant. Well, what can I say, other than we loved everything about it. The food was excellent and the staff made us feel very welcome .We then had most of our meals at this hotel and were not disappointed once. The whole place has a really great feel about it, and without doubt we will return to stay when we revisit this area.

This was our first trip to Turkey and our stay at Yakamoz was super-lovely setting, super food and delightful staff made this visit exceptional -we will be back !! in late September with our friends too.

We particularly enjoyed the boat trip with Popeye and an adventure to the top of Babadog-we may well take the plunge next time.

We have been hearing about this restaurant for a few years now, however we only decided to book a table this year 2013, what a lovely little place, the food was excellent, the hotel has only 4 bedrooms, so book up quickly, we will definitely be back

Peacocks' screams rend the morning mist, lazy smoke rises from village chimneys, proud cockerels proclaim the morning, tortoises noisily mate under my balcony. This is Turkey.
Not for me the delights of the Grand Bazaar or the Sultan Ahmet in Istanbul. Not for me the hustle and hassle of broad avenues of shops and restaurants offering "English Breakfasts". This is a small retreat halfway up a mountain near Fethiye.
I watch the shadow of Baba Dag slowly slide down the side of Mendos mountain as the sun rises, suddenly to flood this tiny valley while an old lady urges her flock along the lane, their wooden sheep-bells clonking. Pleasantries are exchanged with a friend gathering herbs from the hedgerow as the Imam's call floats over us. This is paradise.
Clear blue sky blesses us. A tiny black and white woodpecker hammers at an old olive tree, his wary eye on a cat prowling nearby as I breakfast on salt cheese, fresh bread and coffee under a vine-laden pergola. This is Yakamoz Hotel.

There is nothing more to add. Please try this extraordinary experience yourself, it will change your life.

Room Tip: A room at the back of the main hotel is quieter than at the front.
