I was introduced to this family run hotel by my friend who has been returning for many years and now I can understand why.... I have never felt so welcome. Ali and family know how to make you feel special and I am definitely going back in September. Great Hotel, great location, great food, great hospitality ..... I could go on ! Go for yourself and see :)

Room Tip: it doesnt matter they are all good.

The Watermill is a few windy miles south of Oludeniz in the tiny village of Faralya above Butterfly Valley, and is not the sort of place where you pop out to peruse the bars and restaurants on offer for the evening: there are none! This is a unique small hotel tucked away under the shade of pine trees and grape vines, with lush vegetation and silent but for the sounds of running water, birds and cicadas. The rooms are large, cool and rustic, and the pool is refreshing as a mountain spring: in fact it is refilled each week from a mountain spring. The hosts and staff are very attentive and take great pride in their creation and in the food they serve from locally produced ingredients. You will love this place if you want a hideaway from the heat and frenetic activity of the resorts, and a good base from which to explore. The only negative in our room was being able to hear the toiletry activity in the other rooms which can be a bit disconcerting.

Room Tip: Not all rooms look to the front, so if you want a view, ask when booking. Half-board only.

Have been going to this hotel for many years! Must be at least 16 years. Here you are a friend not a hotel room number. Spotlessly clean. Great little restaurant and the best fresh BBQ seafood in the village. Nothing is too much trouble. Location! Location! Location! This could not be better, at the edge of the village, just a few minutes walk from all your heart desires. You will bump into many repeat guests on your stay at this hotel....says it all really. Hope you have a fantastic summer Ali and Sali :-) all the best Sharon and Mike

The number 1 questions you ask yourself when going abroad as a young family is.......WILL IT BE FAMILY FRIENDLY? Well my friends, the native hotel is probably the most family friendly hotel you could stay at. the hotel has such a happy go lucky atmosphere and nothing is too much for Ali and his staff. The food is great if you want something a little different (bit more spicy) then just ask and they always cater for it. The pool is always cleaned every night and the hotel is constantly being cleaned. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough. The first year we went my daughter came out in chicken pox the day before we were due to fly home. So you would have thought we were is a bit of a sticky patch...... No the hotel sent a driver to pick us up took us to the hospital and even translated for us. and even though we had to stay an extra week (courtesy of our travel insurance ....Thank you very much :-) the hotel staff made sure everything was taken care of for us. We no longer see them as hotel staff but as part of the family when we are in Turkey. Nothing is too much. The location is a 20 meter walk then you are at the bottom of Hisaronu strip. but the hotel is located in such a way that around the pool its all private and at night there's never too much loud music. If you decide to go out and about at night there are some great bars and restraunts. We never tend to venture down to Oludeniz at night as its a lot more expensive. We do however venture down to Fethiye harbour at night its very relaxing walking along and having a couple of drinks. If your a Fish Lover venture to Fethiye fish market for your tea, theres a cosy little family run kitchen/cafe/eatery in the corner of the fruit and veg market. they take you to choose your fish and they cook it to perfection (the best prawns I have ever tasted!!!). So folks this is why we go year after year we have two girls (aged 6 and 21 months) and both have been every year since they were born. We keep saying we will try somewhere different but we cant bear to tear ourselves apart from the Native.

We have been travelling to Hisaronu for the past 15 years and this has to be the best kept secret in the village, The hotel is spotless and clean and very well kept, All the staff will do anything to make your stay the best one, the location is Fab just a few minutes walk from everything. The pool and pool are is lovely and clean and the gardens are lovely and well kept, the food has to be some of the best in the village and is very good value for money. We wont go anywhere else now and we meet the same people each year so that must say something, The family really make you feel like at home and relaxed what more could you ask for, Perfection

We have been going to Hisaronu for many years and have stayed in a good selection of hotels but we love the Native. Its a small and friendly, family run hotel. The family are very caring to make sure youre enjoying your holiday and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is so clean, something thats important to us with 2 small children. We find the location perfect, its literally 5 minutes from all the shops, bars, etc.. yet it seems so tranquil and quiet.
We love the food here, you can have traditional turkish homecooked meals and delicious english choices too. The turkish breakfast is mouthwatering! I dont know anyone who wouldnt enjoy a stay here.

Room Tip: all the rooms are similar
