The Tumen hotel is just about 100 yards to nearest bars and restaurants and if you are staying in the block on the roadside there is a lot of traffic noise,as wagons and buses travel past there, you can also here all the music and singing from the bars up the road, the breakfast is basic with no fruit juice unless you pay,the bread is that thin you can read the newspaper through it and the Manager called Charlie wants to learn to smile. The pool area is clean and peaceful during the day.aroom 113 has a big tree outside the balcony you get bit to death when sitting out on it, If you want a nice peice of homemade cake and a cuppa (6Lira) pop along to The Cubana Bar (Thomasas) He also sells Lemon Effes in an ice cold glass, also for any trips or information call into Tiny Akropol Travel Its next door to Rumours Bar and Yavuz will help you out he is honest and competitive. The Palm Tree next door does nice food and are very friendly.

Room Tip: Try not to get a room on the roadside very noisy

The Tumen is a family run hotel, Charlie the owner and his family live on site and keep a close eye on everything. We have stayed in Hisaronu many times and this hotel has an excellent location only 2 minute away from Hisaronu village shops, restaurants and bars, the dolmus stops just 50yds away. A nice clean pool area with a scenic backdrop of pinewoods, not overlooked and quiet at night. Pretty gardens. Very clean and well presented accommodation, modern shower room with plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and a very good maid service. Typical Turkish breakfast and good, reasonable priced food during the day, hardworking, pleasant staff, John, Ramazan and Ercan. Our only dislike was the attitude of management and being charged 15 TL for fridge, 25TL for air con and despite being told by the owner we could use the room for the afternoon (we weren't going to bother as we were out all day) we were charged 50TL just before leaving by his son, we came away feeling really ripped off and that spoilt our experience at what really is a nice little hotel.

We stopped here 15th-20th May 2012 for a short break. Rooms small but adequate, the bathroom had an enclosed shower which is great having been to many hotels with just a curtain and water tends to get all over the floor !! Cleaned daily. The hotel owners were friendly enough and the staff couldn't do enough for you especially "John" We were bed and breakfast and if you are not used to the turkish breakfast don't bother getting up for it lol ! It was basically bread, butter, jam olives and tomatoes. You can buy a full english which cost about 11 lira (about £3.00) and it was massive, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 toast, mushrooms tomatoes, 2 sausage etc, etc it was great. We had our evening meals their too as they were reasonably priced ie. 3 courses and 2 beers and it came to around £15 for the 2 of us !!! they were lovely meals too. The hotel was near to the bars, restaurants, shops etc, but not that close to hear the noise ! The pool was a good size and had a mini jacuzzi style pool but when we went the weather was a bit unpredictable so never actually went in it ! We would definately recommend this hotel to people and will probably return ourselves. Just bear in mind it is not the Ritz and you get what you pay for !!! They did let us keep our cases in reception whilst we stayed by the pool waiting for our transfer coach back to airport. If anyone is interested cigarettes are L & M red and are 55lira (£19.50)

Stayed here the last week of June and had a great time. Fantastic location, right next to bars, restaurants, dolmus and taxi's. Not many kids which suited us and a great pool area. Drinks, food reasonably priced, rooms small but very clean and lovely bathrooms.
Charlie the owner comes across as not the friendliest but is ok once you get chatting to him. Don't let the reviews about him put you off this hotel as there's more to your holiday than to make friends with the owner!
A must do is the jeep safari, great fun day out, cheap, fantastic views but be prepared to get soaked all day!
Loved Hisaronu and would recommend to all, will be visiting again very soon.

Room Tip: All rooms are great!
