We spent three nights at the Unsal Hotel and found it to be very clean, comfortable and ideally located. Olu Deniz is not a quiet town but, while the Unsal is still just a block from the beach, it's off the main drags so is quieter than some other hotels. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely courteous and helpful and spoke perfect English. I highly recommend the Unsal!

I hadn't been to Olu Deniz since 1986 (when it was just a dusty-tracked, tiny hamlet, with a parking place and turning area for the dolmus from Fetiye). So when I decided to return in October 2011, I was worried that over-eagerness to make a tourist buck would have spoiled the place. I was so pleasantly surprised - of course, it has been commercialised, but tastefully and sensitively, and still remains a 'large village', but has virtually every service you could want.
The Unsal hotel was spotless, perfectly located, not too big but a decent size to have a nice boutique hotel atmosphere. We ate only breakfast there, which was absolutely fine - it was plentiful and with enough variety. No matter where you travel, you can find a fault if you look hard enough, but you'd have to be really small-minded to complain and let a hard-boiled egg spoil your stay at the Unsal.
The pool gardens are a gentle shaded oasis, and the pool is spotlessly clean. The restaurant bar area is shaded but bright and pleasant, and the staff are efficient and very discreet. All in all, a lovely hotel in a lovely spot, and good value.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views: the odd lower room has a basement feel to it.

Stayed for a week which is longer than we had planned which probably says it all.

The Unsal was a really pleasant surprise, we had a deluxe room for €10 more a night and ended up with a lovely large clean room, nice bathroom, balcony, good air con and a comfy bed - couldn't ask for more really for the price!!

Pool area was nice too with plenty of sun lounges to go round but as the hotel was so near the beach we tended to walk down there when we wanted a swim or some sun.

Location wise it's pretty central in Oludinez and very convenient for the beach as well as local restaurants and bars.  As some people have said, there is some noise from the nearby.bar street but the aircon mostly drowned it out and we were able to sleep ok.

Breakfast is included and is the standard Turkish offering.

Oludinez itself is very much oriented to British package tourism and ex-pats, so there are lots of signs for full english breakfasts etc and generally we found the restaurants to be more expensive than elsewhere in Turkey and mostly offering pretty average food!!

I imagine in peak season it might be a bit of a nightmare here but in October it wasn't too bad and the beach was less crowded than we expected.

We used Sky Sport for Paragliding and other excursions and found them to be very professional and reliable - just ask for Michael!!

All in all a nice week of relaxation in a nice, value for money hotel.

Relaxing- no hastle hotel close to beach and lagoon but just a minute from main strip.room some noise from local bars - inevitable in tourist orientated area .adequate rooms -balcony small .pool small but clean and lovely gardens &views.showers always hot. Breakfast- I'm afraid I have been put off boiled eggs for life! And olives!
No fault of hotel but no real turkey in this area- just about rob the tourist. Did have some lovely turkish food made by musa's family - thanks - more of this please! Enjoyed stay- beautiful area but too tourist orientated for a return trip to this area. Would recommend this hotel .

Just returned from our trip to Oludeniz and I give this Hotel 5 stars,
I couldnt fault this small family run hotel on anything,...... the bedrooms were spotlessly clean, modern and spacious with clean towels daily ( worth paying the extra for a deluxe room),
The pool was crystal clear and cleaned every day, the breakfast was everything you wanted, and all freshly cooked,
Hotel has a perfect location and not noisy at all at night, the Unsal family were absolutely brilliant they couldnt do enough to help,
Cant imagine why anyone could ever write a bad review about this hotel, im well travelled and stayed in many hotels around the world and I know a good place when I see one,
well done musa and family for making our trip so special.
we will be back next year for sure.
Debbie.

Room Tip: Pay extra to upgrade to a deluxe room,

We first stopped at the Unsal Hotel during September 2010. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. We were so impressed we returned for a further two week period during September 2011. Any concerns around equalling the 2010 holiday were soon dismissed and an excellent no nonsense holiday was achieved.
The Unsal Hotel offers an unobtrusive, polite, and efficient service which is provided by the family members, who generally make up the staff of the Hotel. The bedding in our double room was changed every other day and the towels were replaced daily. Shower and toilet facilities are excellent. Our room had excellent Air conditioning. The hotel boasts an excellent pool which was monitored and tested daily. The surrounding area is spotless!
Centrally located to all local amenities, this hotel is held in high esteem by local traders and can boast being one of the cleanest properties on location. The attention to detail is meticulous.

The bar and food prices are extremely reasonable with the chicken hot pot & Black Russian cocktails to die for!

Our thanks to Musa, Lisa and Selil, who ensured our holiday was memorable and trouble free. We cherish many great memories.

Happy days, John & Helen Buchan, Birmingham, UK.

Room Tip: Rooms above bar are quietest.

Hi,

My wife and i have just returned from Oludeniz. We stayed at the Unsal Hotel. What a fantastic hotel. The hotel is family run, and they were very friendly and helpful people. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with fresh linen and towels every day. The hotel is small which made it very easy to make goods friends with other couples. The food at the hotel was good also. We have both said that we will return to this lovely hotel and we already miss being there. The only down side is the loud music at night from the pubs near by not the hotel, however saying this we did get use to it quite soon.
