“So good, we decided to stay as long as we could.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 May 2011

From the moment we unloaded our bags from the car till loading up again - a few days later than originally intended, we recieved friendly and efficient, yet discreet, service from every member of the team that makes the Mozaik a great place to stay.
We had a swim up room that was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, as is the rest of the property.
Although only a couple of minutes walk from the busy main street and maybe 10 from the beach, the Mozaik is a quiet haven. Being a lagoon hotel the pool is dominant with plenty of space and sunbeds for relaxing. The menu is simple but diverse and the quality of food served in the mainly alfresco restaurant is excellent. The bar is a gem.
The Moziac is a well designed, well kept and comfortable property. It's people make it a great hotel.

Mozaik is situated about 10 minutes from Oludeniz beach, which is just far enough from some of the larger and noisier hotels. The staff are really friendly and provide good advice on where to eat and what to do. The rooms are large and modern (we stayed in a swim up hotel room). The garden and pool are in immaculate condition and everything is very well maintained. Would not hesitate to recommend Mozaik to anyone wanting to holiday in Oludeniz.

Fantastic small boutique complex with lots of attention to detail. Apartments are of a high specification, really comfortable, modern and clean. Great to have free, fast wifi as an extra as well. The bar plays low-key music which is great as background/ambient noise when you are relaxing on your sunbed. Although it is the furthest complex from the main street and beach it is no distance at all, 3 mins walk to the start of the main street and 5 mins to the beach.

It really is a perfect destination for couples and young families alike. If these apartments are affiliated to a holiday operator in the future I would hope it is only in the boutique/special occasion category, I would hate to see this haven advertised to the mass market, it is perfect just the way it is.

Food at the complex is good and huge portions, more english prices than turkish but the chef is good we didn't mind. Great staff very friendly and helpful.

We booked direct with the manager via the email address on the website and were able to pay a deposit/full balance 10 weeks before arrival. This was by bank transfer to a UK account and had prompt email/confirmation that the money had arrived and we were booked in. We found that the cheapeast transfer from the airport was with Rain Transfers £70 return in a private taxi.

The hotel is typical resort like, but much smaller, nested at the end of the little beach town. 3 minutes walk to the main street which leads to the beach (5min). Very Hospitable staff. They did omelette for us in the breakfast, out of the way. The setting is lovely, the free wireless internet is fast. Recommended for the everyone, for the price they command, they have a sister property, called buzz bar right at the beach, which offers great food and drinks.. at 20% discount for residents of mozaik..the kids had a lot fun in the play area by themselves. The staff was really helpful, in making our stay really pleasant.
It looks like the pictures on the website. Value for money.

We decided to split our holiday into 2 trips. We spent 7 days in Blacktree Cottages then the next 7 days at Mozaik.

This was our first holiday to Turkey with our 2 year old. We had decided on Blacktree cottages and we looking at places in Olu Deniz. Upon booking Blacktree we found out they were owned by the same people and they booked everything for us including all the transfers.

We had spent a week in basic cottages in the mountains which was great to get back to basics and Mozaik was a total contrast.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which are below the pool and have a small garden with them which was ideal for Charlie. The main Bedroom had an ensuite with TV. The main bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and the open plan living/kitchen area was ideal.

The apartments like the rest of the complex were stunning for the price you couldn't ask for more. The bar and restaurant were excellent in food, drinks, and service and very reasonable. The staff were extremely freindly and very helpful. There was a small childrens pool and child play area which Charlie spent a lot of his time.

The complex is at the back of main Olu Deniz strip and very quiet but no more than 10 mins walk from the beach front.

There are free washing facilities on site and you can also exchange currency (at very reasonable rates).

While we were there thay had the international airfest where paraglidings from all over the world come to jump off a 1900 metre mountain. The atmosphere was excellent and we even tried it ourselves. Again the staff at Mozaik were very helpful in reccommending places, they even offered to babysit Charlie one night so we could have a night out on our own.

All in all our first trip to Turkey will hold a lot of memories and unlike some of the stories from people on the plane home it sounds like we made the perfect choice in both resorts.

Thankyou to All at Mozaik and Bob for making our holiday very special.

Gary, Al & Charlie

We stayed at the Mozaik in September. It was an oasis of calm in the otherwise over-touristy Olu Deniz. We were so sad to leave! And, I almost didn't want to write a review - I wanted to keep the Mozaik my secret... Stylish interiors, comfortable beds, airconditioning what more could you want? The rooms are very generous in size, and immaculately clean. Great patios - and definitely try to book a swim up hotel room if you can. If you choose to cook, everything you need is there, but if not, the restaurant is a great choice. The staff made us feel completely welcome, and were helpful in every way. I wish them all the success, and say well done!

So where to start?!
We booked these Apartments back in April when it was just an artists impression as it looked so lovely. Well honestly it is just as good as the artist impressions and the Virtual Tour on their website, in fact even better!
The rooms are very modern and clean, the maids are fantastic even if they have limited English we still managed a laugh and a joke with them. The rooms are very spacious with all the mod cons, as we stayed in an apartment we had all the utensils and facilites to prepare food. The Power Shower and Jacuzzi bath are excellent and we never had a problem with no hot water at any time of the day!
The Pool is a fantastic size, it is the same depth all the way around, (150cm), so take this into consideration if taking children, (although there is a Childrens Pool as well), or you are quite short as my wife could not stand up anywhere in the pool! There were ample sunbeds we never had a problem getting one at any time and they supply pool towells.
The food is fantastic from a light breakfast or lunch to the set menu in the evening the quality is excellent. The set menu in the evening was really good value and you got absolutely loads, they did not really push this but to be honest they should as it was fantastic and really good value!
The family took a shine to the cocktails and we often had a few cocktails before leaving to go to another restaurant for the evening, (the Razzmapolitan is gorgeous!). Of course being part of the Buzz Bar we also got 10% off there which was a big bonus and the staff at Mozaik would book us a table when we asked.
I think the thing that impressed me most was the staff, each and every one of them were so friendly and helpful they could not do enough for you, always smiling always sharing a joke. They even got me a birthday cake for my 40th birthday which was so nice of them, it was a real surprise! So Asli, Evren, Ali, Cem and those that may of been behind the scenes but still all had the time to say hello and give a warm smile, I thank you all for a special holiday, don't change anything and we hope to return as soon as possible.
Ian and Annmarie.
