“I was apprehensive about Turkey but would not think twice about staying here again!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 September 2011

When looking for a destination to go on our summer holiday this year we found it difficult as we have done Greece and Spain to death and Cyprus was very expensive. My wife suggested Turkey and I must admit it had never been towards the top of my list but I did a little research and decided to plump for Mozaik Apartments in Oludeniz. We weren't disappointed!!
With a 14 month old daughter in tow and two teenagers we needed something suitable for all and booked a two bedroom apartment directly with Mozaik. Levent was very helpful during the booking process and kept in touch regularly to advise that payments had been received and to send statements/receipts. We also arranged a transfer to and from Dalaman airport for £100 which was very reasonable and were picked up and returned to the airport in air conditioned people carriers which was a must with a little one.
When we arrived we were checked into our rooms and found it to be clean and of a very good standard. The pool and surrounding area was fantastic as was the smaller kids pool and children's play area. The food was very good and could be ordered pretty much anytime of day and eaten at the pool bar or ordered as room service. The food prices were very reasonable and the evening menu, although a little more expensive than the restaurants on the strip, was very good.
I would also recommend the resorts own buzz bar at the beachfront which serves excellent food and with a 10% discount for Mozaik guests it meant that a main meal and drink for 4 people came to a very reasonable £32.
The only slight disappointment was the breakfast which we decided to pay for (£5 per person) this consisted of selection of cereal, fruit, toast, fruit juice and tea/coffee and for £20 for a group of 4 per day, I felt this was a little steep and would have expected a little more choice. After two days we decided to buy some cornflakes, a loaf of bread, tea, coffee, milk and margarine for about £5 and that lasted us the rest of the week.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation recommending Mozaik or Oludeniz as a holiday destination and will definitely return in the future.

Room Tip: The two bed apartments are best for young families as the swim up rooms are a bit of a safety risk f...

We have just returned from our second stay at the Mozaik Hotel and again it was every bit as good as last year if not better. We stayed in the penthouse suite which again was brilliant. I would recommend these apartments to anyone wanting to stay in Olu Deniz ,they are really top class. All the staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is very good from the bar and Burcin the head barman can mix a mean cocktail, we had some great times sat at the bar having a drink and chatting with him.
If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Olu Deniz then you will not go wrong stopping here, just wish we where still there.

Well this was our 2nd year at the Mozaik and it's still a little paradise. The prices have gone up slightly from last year but still good value. The rooms are excellent and the pool excellent for both families and children. This accomodation is really classy trust me. I have visited Olu now for the past 6yrs and have stayed at a variety of hotels. None of the others can match the Mozaik for peace and tranquility.
Approximately 1000mts from the beach and it is up a gradual steep gradient//hill so just bare that in mind if you have a little trouble with your fitness.
The accomodation offer 10% off your meals and drinks off the best bar//restaurant in Olu called the Buzz.. (Try the sweet chilli chicken and the chicken fettucini)... The Buzz is amazing and by far the best place to eat and drink in the resort,,the food and cocktails are sheer class. I would recommend Billy's Beach they do a pick up from 9a.m at your hotel if you get the hotel to call Billy. Get there early and go Turtle watching it's real fun within the Lagoon. The sun beds and umbrella's are really cheap and the food good quality.
Places to be wary of Focus travel on the front promenade walkway. I would not recommend the Sun Cafe Restaurant neither,,food very poor....Just our opinion based on 6yrs of visiting the resort...Bella Gusto the portions are enormous.. If you want to change your money Gladys and Ali in the bag shop opposite the Karbel near the top of the main strip will serve you with a smile and give you the best rate. Check out our ''Friends of the Buzz Beach Bar and Mozaik Apartments'' on Facebook.....Rob

Spent one week at the Moziak this August. Found it accidentally via an add on the Olu Deniz tourist page. What a GEM!!! Beautiful hotel, nice size, service was fantastic, had the best time, perfect location...only 10 mins walk to the beach and about 20 mins to the lagoon.

We stayed in a swim up room which was lovely, modern and very clean. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The manager Burcin was very funny and made the best cocktails...definitely worth asking for his specials!!

Wish we had more than a week there, weather was fantastic and we did a few trips, paragliding, sunset cruise, private boat cruise round the 12 islands and Dalyan mud baths. All booked through Sky Sports and well worth doing! This was my second visit to Olu Deniz and would definitely return again...may be back next year!

We ate out in the town most evenings, Buzz bar was our favourite and we had 10% discount as they also own the hotel! Had a BBQ at the hotel on our last night, this was brilliant and well worth the money...even had a bellydancer who got us all up dancing!

Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting relaxing surroundings and good service.

FANTASTIC HOLIDAY...THANK YOU TO ALL. XXX

Stayed in the Penthouse apartment early August 2011. Booked a couple of weeks before departure so to be honest, wouldn't have chosen the Penthouse as we were travelling as a family with a 5 year old and 13 year old but this was the only available room. Compared to other rooms that we looked around during our stay, the Penthouse bathroom was very disappointing. A very very small shower with a shower head installed for someone under 4 feet tall unlike the other rooms with a jacuzzi bath and double shower. There is no doubt that the complex was stunning and the apartments and grounds very well maintained however, if we did go back, even as a couple would not chose the Penthouse. It is suitable for those under 6 foot and as my husband is 6ft 3 found that he spend the entire fortnight stooping to avoid the low ceilings and in particular, the pint sized patio door out onto the balcony. The hot tub on the balcony was a nice feature but very difficult to get in and out of with no steps and the wood surround quite dangerous as there were loose sections of wood and exposed nails. As we were high up overlooking the complex the view was great but this did mean that it was particularly noisy in the evening. The noise travelled from the neighbouring Dorian Hotel, a high class joint with karaoke and a crude DJ most evenings. The umbrella was broken and my husband asked at reception on 2 occasions for it to be sorted. At just over £2000 for the fortnight, this is basic customer service. They did eventually "fix" the umbrella, a patch up job that lasted for a couple of days. The bar area in the complex is very tranquil with a fantastic seating area overlooking the pool. However, it was remarkably quiet and was told by a family that stayed last year that the menu had been changed and gone were the traditional bar snacks, e,g, cheese toasties etc and in their place quite heavy meals such as pasta - not want you want at lunch time in 40 degree heat. The quality of what was offered was OK, but not as it was last year. Breakfast I felt was hugely disappointing and expensive. There was far better value for money to be had just a short stroll along from the complex. The smoothies and shakes were fantastic but at £4 a go for a milk shake, then they should be. Quite a few people were spending a couple of days of their holiday feeling sick. My daughter and son included. Think this may be down to the large amount of ice in the drinks that may have been tap water - can't be certain though. I have been going to Turkey for the last 12 years and have never experienced sickness?? The bar staff were at best passable. One spent most of the day on Facebook and forgot drinks that we had ordered on 2 occasions. Sat there waiting for 10 minutes and had to remind her. My son, who took his laptop even sat at the bar and ordered his drink via her Facebook!! Buchin, the manager, selected his favourites and spoke to us for the first couple of days when he tried to sell the BBQ on the first Thursday we were there but there was little conversation with him after that. It could be a truely superb bar but as it stands this year, staffing and menus need to be looked at as no one really ate or drank there, especially in the evenings. I also felt that the Australian owner and his family who lived on site were rude and obnoxious. I handed my key in on the last day to the owner and I think his sister in law at reception. Not a smile a thank you or have you enjoyed your stay. So the answer to if I would go back - based on the price and the general customer service in the place, probably not. Would rather hand over £2000 of hard earned cash to someone who appreciates the custom. Sorry Mozaik and all your followers.......

Room Tip: Not the Penthouse - 1bed apartments spacious and cheaper

We loved everything about Mozaik. The rooms and grounds are immaculate, we had a swim up apartment and it was fantastic. Trying the 2 bedroom apartment next year. Staff are very friendly, especially Levent and Borchin. The food at the Mozz Bar is of a high standard and reasonably priced. We also ate at the Buzz Bar near the beach which is owned by the same group and again the food and service was second to none. Idris the waiter was superb and always looked after us well. I cannot think of any criticisms about our stay except that the time went too quickly!
