Spent two weeks here in June/July. Very pleasant, welcoming hotel with attentive, friendly staff and owner. It is set far enough away from the glare of Hisaronu to make it peaceful and relaxed but near enough for easy access to shops restaurants and transport to Fethiye and Olu Deniz. As one of the other reviewers notes, the decor of the rooms is an acquired taste and the fixings are a bit dated. However, the aircon was efficient (£3/night suppl), the beds comfortable, sheets clean and the maid zealous in her desire to keep the room spotless and tidy. The bathroom was a "wet room" which one reviewer seems to have a problem with. Occasionally soggy bog roll is the only downside of this, but you don't normally use it in Turkey anyway.
The food was good, but with so many places to eat in the area, why limit yourself? Turkish breakfast was included, consisting of the usual tea or coffee, eggs, cheese, toms, cucumber, processed meat, olives bread and fruit. Omelettes available on request. Repetitive but adequate. Price of drinks was fair and the measures generous (even for the non-local stuff like genuine Glenmorangie).
The pool was a good size considering the small size of the hotel and the water kept to a high standard of hygiene. Many of the guests were regulars for many years, which is a good indication of the quality and friendliness of the service. Primarily Turkish and British families and couples. Do not expect luxury at this price, but you can expect a pleasant stay and remarkably good value for money.
