Lykia world is just that, a world... Or more like a town that has restaurants, bars, pools, beaches, activities all set with a stunning cliff back drop. The sun sets behind the mountains out to sea so there are stunning views every night whether you are dining or having a drink at the bar. For parents with kids who want to combine time with the kids and time without the kids this is a great place. I thoroughly enjoyed adult time with my husband in the adult areas, yoga each morning but also swimming with the kids on the children's beach and watching them make new friends and coming back to the room each evening shattered, and relaxed that they were safe and having fun. The family pool was extremely busy so we never went there, the hotel definitely should have another pool for families. Meal times are a bun fight, but there is so much choice and something for everyone and very fresh. Somehow it works though when you adapt to the chaos. Also need to mention the warm and welcoming staff, they couldn't do enough and nothing was a problem. You had a sense of the warm and hospitable nature of the Turkish people, which was important when staying in a resort like this. I recommend the bag and leather shop in the retail area. The quality of the leather superb and the designs are so close to the original Chanel, Prada, Hermes etc, you cannot tell the difference (apart from the price). Added to that Mustafa, the owner doesn't try to push the products on you, the quality speaks for itself. It is without doubt the best place in the are for quality leather goods that look like the real thing. All in all a great two weeks.

Merhaba / Hello 

We are so happy that you have spent two great weeks with your family. As we can understand from your reviews looks like it is your first visit to Turkey. We are so glad that you have met the warm and friendly hospitality of the Turkish culture and had a great holiday spending time in both hotels while making time for yourself and husband while your children are taken care of.

Please note that the second big pool for families will be ready for the next season. So hope you come and enjoy it with your family.

In your next visit, please do your reservation in advance and stay for a better price at your favorite sea view room that will be renovated and be ready for the next season.

Stayed there with 3 kids and thoroughly enjoyed!
The food - breakfast, lunch and dinner is one of the best we had in any such resorts. The variety and quality is staggering, every meal was a joy.
We were at K block last building that is 7 minuets walk to the Marine restaurant (main one) and 5 minutes to children paradise (water park and swimming pools), a bit far but really wasn't an issue + there is a shuttle every 20 minutes.
There are plenty of activities going on around the clock and the stuff are really nice and trying to do the best for you.
Note - if you choose the paragliding it cost €40 more (€70 vs €110) than it would cost you in Oludeniz, so might consider ordering in Oludeniz, the downside is that you have to go there to book, worth saving €40. In general anything you pay for or buy at the resort is around +30% to 40% more expensive than other places in the area, so eliminate purchasing anything there. I thought prices are unfair.
I've read several feedbacks on the main swimming pool - that in order to get a sit by the pool you need to leave towel or something early on, around 8:00. Well, if you do so it is pathetic. We visited this swimming pool only once, it is not too suited to young children and the children paradise or the beach or the plenty other activity is much better.
For over 16 YO there are several more swimming pools that are fantastic.
Will go there again!

Merhaba / Hello 

Thank you very much for choosing our resort for your family and 3 kids.
We are so happy that you had a perfect time and enjoyed each meal and the facilities in our hotel.

In general the paragliding, scuba diving, market and shops are outsourced and they have nothing to do with hotel management. However we think that it is normal that they charge higher than the locals since they are located in a luxury resort. But please make sure that we will pass on your message for their consideration.

In your next visit, please do not forget visit our Kids Club to meet our experienced staff to choose your kids favorite activity that they can participate in and for the educational programs that they will love to take.

We look forward to welcoming you again

very nice place with fantastic pools especially in the Children Paradise sector up at the resort. Children can enjoy their day there in the mostly shadowed pools and water slides.
The beach is also very nice. The food is very tasty and has a wide selection for breakfast and dinner buffet as well. In the lunchtime, a little less, but it is still OK. The natural environment is amazing, and you can see the sunset at beautiful Oludeniz bay while having your dinner. To visit the bay is worthwhile: fantastic setting and a good swim to a small island.
Rooms are totally OK for a family holiday. Mosquitos are in excess, but you can keep hunting them during the night.

Room Tip: if you can, book a room looking to the see and if you are with children, two books with connecting d...

Where do I start..... firstly, if you are travelling with children under 16 please note that half of the resort, including the restaurants, pools and spa are adult only. Because of this, at peek times, it means its impossible to get sun beds and tables in the main family restaurants.
Secondly, it boasts 7 speciality restaurants BUT these are not included- cost upt 35 euros pp AND again 4 are ADULT only.
Despite what the brochure and website states icecreams are not included except from the restaurants with the meals, they are however available in the onsite shop - costing a wacking 12 euros each (that's about £4 each!)
Worse than any of this, there was a very nasty sickness bug going around, most people suffered for at least a day -in our case everyone in or party got it, and it meant I spent 4 days in my room.
The hotel is tired and dated, although staff proudly boast that its due for a refurb next year. Its far froma 5 star and its even further away from the £4k that we paid to go there. It was fantastic when we visited but 2012 but has seriously gone down hill since then.

Room Tip: Family size rooms are big, with 2 separate bedrooms. We didn't paid for an upgrade but got one a...

Merhaba / Hello

Thank you for choosing our country and hotel for your family holiday.

We are surprised about the comments that you have done about the changes and improvements compared to 2012 since we receive many positive comments as you will also be able to see on the comments done via tripadvisor.

Our rooms have newly upgraded furniture, the Sentido rooms have been renewed totally, there are two lifts now to take our guests to the restaurant/pool and the beach if needed, wooden walking deck by the sea has been done and the main bar has partially been renovated. There will be more to come for the next season according to the needs of the complex such as new big pool.
Also:
1. If you check our web side you will find that the pools and the spa are not only in the +16 side. As you also know we have the pools and the spa at the Liberty side. We have pools, waterparks, slides at the Children’s Paradise where also adults can enjoy the whole day with their children.
2. Our main restaurant Marina that is on the Liberty side now has two huge floors with even better sunset views with two buffets with a capacity of 2000, there is no seating problem at the main restaurant. Although we would like to inform you that the % 80 of the beach is on the Liberty side.
3. As you know the a la carte restaurants were charged also in 2012 and this information is declared in all materials and general publicity.
4. As you also know the a la carte restaurants fees are from 10 to 35 Euros ( Turkish 10, Chinese 10, Fish 20, Sushi 35 ...)
5. Only at our Steak & Italian restaurants guests above 16 years are allowed. Families with their children can eat at other a la carte restaurants.
6. As we also mention in our brochures, ice cream is only served at Children’s paradise and during meals. As it is the same all around the world, the market is subject to a fee. ( It was the same in 2012)
7. Among the complex ( Sentido & Lykia) we accommodate daily around 900 children, 2000 adults form 30 different nationalities. As an average 4-5 people visit our doctor everyday for different reasons and we must say that this is normal under these circumstances.

We accept the reality of the few areas that were replaced with the adults usage while creating the +16 concept. Our expectation form your and from our repeat guests is to accept and appreciate the improvements that were done recently.

With my kind regards

my daughter, who is 45 booked a 2 week holiday with our son in law and 2 grand daughters the grand daughters are 10 and 12, my wife and i followed on and enjoyed thier 2nd week, all inclusive it is our first time at this hotel, the hotel is spread on a hill side and covers a very large area with a fantastic choice of activities, an absolute kids paradise. the hotel sits right next to the sea very handy which gives a daily choice of lazing next to a pool or go down to the beach or the adventure water park all on the campus, the array of food to choose from is first class i have never seen so much varied food such amounts and such quality absolutly top class, there is an army of workers keeping the place very clean and tidy again top marks, the entertainment at night was satisfactory without being brilliant although the acrobat act was fab, our rooms over looked the sea and they are the best rooms if you can get them but dont be dissappointed if you get one of the inward facing rooms they overlook nice garden areas, the rooms are a good size not pokey like some hotels, the telly has 100 channels and you get the equivalent of sky sports 1 but the commentry is in turkish but you can live with that, the maid sevice is good no complaints the bed we had was massively wide but very comfortable, the reception staff was tip top very helpful, there are however some downsides that are worth mentioning, the hotel complex is 21 years old and the fabric is showing the strain loads of cracking and paint peeling, the shower worked no problem but does not look 5star the bathroom while nice ain't 5 star, one worry is where ever you want to get on the complex there are steps true lifts serve most areas but not all if you have dodgy pins be warned, again to be fair there are internal road ways that can be accessed via on site golf buggies which buzz about all day but they are not for residents use, i e handy for delivering your cases from reception to your room very good idea indeed and you would need the buggies when entering and leaving the complex some rooms are a long way from reception in some cases 200 yards, one big moan i picked up from residents that have been here year after year is that 2 pools that all the families used, have been taken out of use and are only for 16 years and over so no kids the knock on is the one pool left is very very busy a lot of families we spoke to are not best pleased about this move by the hotel, summerise is it a 5 star hotel yes but it needs to to keep an eye on things it is fraying round the edges a bit, ok would we go back the answer is yes however it is not that fantasic that it would stop us going some where else the airport tranfer even by private taxi is about 1 hour 20 and thats what we had coaches are a lot longer obvisously because of drop offs almost forgot ther is a company on site called escape that do paraglide jumps of a mountain about 8000 ft high highly recommend that we did it and they are all tandem jumps with an instructer cost about 100 euro absolutly fab there are also jet skies and other moter boats all in house from the hotel

Stayed 10th - 20th Aug and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

I would have given it 5* if following were addressed:
- Room was 4*, shower in need of good scrub (but my standards are just high and resort enormous and probably hard for staff to keep rooms 5* all the time)
- hand sanitisers not enforced when entering restaurant, so it not appealing to touch dishing up spoons that everyone has touched, then eat ones meal.

The location is highlight. I wouldn't recommend going to Blue Lagoon as the beaches are not as pleasant as hotel's beaches, which are very well kept.

Food - was wonderful. I recommend you try the Sentido restaurant when kids at Kids clubs. Our kids luckily happy to go to kids club a few times during day and most evenings. So we were able to enjoy adult only restaurant to have more peaceful romantic meals. There is food for every palate. food for babies to beef bourguignon. Upstairs at Marine there is a smaller, quieter buffet with air-conditioning. We had most of our breakfasts up there as a small buffet all one needs for breakfast - but one can happily venture downstairs to get something you want that not upstairs and come back to air-conditioning. All the food in all of the all inclusive restaurants amazing, so waste to spend more money at other restaurants - rather save it to spend on watersports. How much more variety people can stomach is beyond me.

I recommend Kids in Action Watersports - 70 Euros to do para-sailing, Ringo, Banana boat, Jetski.

Kids club - our kids loved the 3 days and 6 evenings they spend at kids club. Kids club run from 10am - 6.30pm, then again 7.30pm - 10.30pm daily, except Mondays they closed. You can sign child in or out anytime. Ours stayed till 4pm when get back from pool. Kids don't spend much time at the club house, they travel around doing activities, but you get a pamphlet each week with schedule. Archery, football, mini golf, Judo, tennis etc. They take your kids to kids paradise for lunch after activities, then stay for pool games and waterslides. Kids kept busy throughout day. Ours enjoyed evening more, guess because it more chilled, arts and crafts and games and shows and movies.

Entertainment - We enjoyed all the evening shows we saw and found the team to work very hard.

Pools - The main pool can be busy, with lots of people and entertainment happening. We not big on sitting by a pool all day. We went twice for couple of hours in late afternoon. We enjoyed the kids beach and kids paradise much more. We used the adult only pool whilst kids at kids club and enjoyed it. I don't see it becoming anything but a quiet adult pool. It by the Spa and high up on a cliff with infinity pool so will be unsafe for children and noisy for Spa guests. Everyone complaining about Main pool are probably right that it busy but until another pool is built then guests must just enjoy what else on offer like kids beach and paradise. There is so much to enjoy.

Transfers - I recommend you book direct with agent and have them not include transfer and then book one on hotels website. £82 return for private transfer which takes 60mins, £76 for coach one which takes 2 hours if included in package. It a no-brainer. Also look up day flights on Thomas cook flight website, then ask agent for those if you have small children and don't want to do night flights.

Staff - no complaints here - no bad service. Be polite, patient, friendly and you will be looked after.

I had wonderful time and think everyone looking for a child friendly hotel with lots of activities or just to relax will not regret booking.

TIP. - the whole bug thing....well if you drink lots of water, don't overeat and don't get sunstroke you will be fine. If your body isn't hydrated then it wont be able to fend off bugs.

I think the resort is well run, seeing it fully booked I was surprised how well it met my expectations.

Room Tip: L block and S block best as near to centre of things otherwise you will get tired of walking, but it...

The hotel complex has a special area called "Children's Paradise"; it's a wonderful place with various slides, pools, children's restaurant, etc. Children and parents are both busy and happy all day long:) Everything is well-designed, child-friendly and safe.

Room Tip: If possible select a room close to the Marina restaurant.

Thank you very much for visiting our child friendly family hotel and spending busy and happy days during your stay.

We are so glad that you have made the right choice for yourself and loved ones.

Beside the Children’s paradise we have the Kids Club that your children would love to join. Kids club run from 10am - 6.30pm & 7.30pm - 10.30pm daily except Mondays. Due to the ages we split the groups and they travel around the resort for many activites such as archery, football, mini golf, Judo, tennis etc and they have lunch with other kids and then continuw with other activities such as pool games and waterslides. And for the evenings they might attend arts and crafts, games, shows and movies. So we keep tham busy throughout the day as you can see.

In your next visit, while your children are taken care of at Kids Club, please do not forget to visit our +16 Sentido Lykia Resort and Spa hotel where you can relax, chill out among the pine trees in silent areas and spend some time on your own.
