We travelled from Exeter to Dalaman via Thompson 11 of us in our party from age 14 to 79. 2 hour transfer to hotel. Scenery was fantastic surrounded by mountains. Reception staff were very efficient and all spoke good English. Rooms were apartment rooms clean and close to facilities. 3 pools a small relax pool, a family pool and an 'active' pool. We stayed 1 week mid August and we could easily get plenty of sun beds on pool edge at 8am, so no 6am mad rush to the poolside! We based ourselves at the 'active' pool where the animation team prowled the poolside, as it is a relatively small complex they very quickly got to know our names and used 'gentle encouragement tactics' to lure us wary poolsiders to partake in their pool activites and games. If you don't want to partake suggest you go to the family or quiet pools as they are persistent but do work extremely hard especially Eysha, our children needed the encouragement to take part and when they did they had alot of fun!
The food was excellent and the restaurant wasn't too busy, added bonus ice cream cones at the end of every meal! Drinks were the usual for all inclusive. The bar staff and the waiters were extremely friendly and accomadating (Oktay Cetinkaya, Cem Harman and Ridvan Esatoglu were particular favourites!). The hotel grounds were immacutately kept and the housekeeping and security guards were also very friendly and polite.
The beach is circa. 30 metres flat walk no steps from the hotel and is sandy initially then gets a bit pebbly and shelves quickly, so beach shoes a must. There is a street full of shops circa. 60 metres walk away with all the usual 'genuine fakes' available, restaurants etc. We went to the Blue lagoon, 20 minute walk from the hotel, worth looking at to say you've been but not alot there tbh.
Our third holiday to Turkey and definitely the best so far!

we have just returned from a two week holiday at this resort. |we arrived about 10 pm and we were greeted by an organised team who got us sorted pretty quickly with our room, safety deposit box ( 42 euros for two weeks). we were taken to our room with a porter who took our luggage which was wonderful.
Our room was great, a family room with a double bed and bunk beds. which was very clean with efficient air conditioning. We overlooked the activity pool and we couldn't have asked for a better choice of room. shower powerful indeed. You can hear your neighbours in the bathroom. when I first had a shower i though someone was talking to me.

all inclusive is great for the food. Chefs work incredibly hard producing a good standard of food as there is an extensive choice from omlettes, pancakes, meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit bread, croissants tea and coffee etc for breakfast. you are always offered water. Lunch and the main dinner is extensive again with a choice of meat, chicken , fish dishes and pasta with an array of salad choices, chips, potatoes. and desserts to die for and icecream which went down well with my family. again food a bit repetative but it must be difficult to you can eat inside or outside. Inside is good in the lunchtime but outside good in the evening as the restaurant gets very hot. I think the air con. needs updating here really. Have different themed evenings such as a gala evening , Italian evening, turkish evening.. did not experience an English evening which would have been another option as many guests were indeed English.

The waiter service is excellent. Our favourite waiters were Feret, Pharte and Halil. They were most attentive and they remembered your drinks order and could not do enough for you. making sure you were ok , clearing away plates etc. Their English is very good.. much better than my Turkish. Thankyou once again for your kindness and for looking after us during our stay we really appreciated this.

Hotel and the grounds and the pools are kept well and are clean. beautiful surroundings. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels daily. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
choice of pools. Top pool by main bar and restaurant is quieter, activitypool with the water slide.. music is on all the time and activities thtoughout the day. relax pool for adults and a baby pool for the littel ones.

At the activity pool the animation team work extremly hard to keep ypu entertained. There is morning gym, water polo, pool games. Now the y do go around and ask you to take part. However if you don't want to they do pester you a bit as they don't seem to accept no as an answer. So if you want a relaxing holiday then choose another pool option.. If you do take part then they return to you to join in again and again.

Evening entertainment is a mixture. The animation team work hard yet again to keep you entertained. also have outside shows such as belly dancing, acrobatic shows, fire shows

Beach is two minutes walk out of the hotel. Loads of room on the beach. You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas or you can just buy own brolly or take your beach tent. you will need shade because it gets so hot. Beach shoes are required as sand burns feet and it is pebbly near to and in the sea. The sea does dip down pretty quick but it is crystal clear and lovely to swim in.

I did not want to come home. we had a lovelt time and would definately recommend this hotel

Room Tip: rooms by the activity pool are the newer options. Have good air con and are not crammed in. However...

lovely hotel in beautiful location, food excellent but a little repetitve after 2 weeks - Buzz bar down the road excellent, pebble beach requires beah shoes or you will skin your shins but sea beautiful and great fun. Animation team around activity pool a little tiresome at times as they get childish when bored, but dont take offence when you tell them to stop - choice of 3 pools.
Room cleaned every day

Just come back from this resort , bit worried at first but the food was great for all inclusive , service outstanding , rooms were ok , we had to change as our air con wasnt working second room was better. Our sons 18 and 20 went out with the turkish bar tenders and they really looked after them .They have a free shuttle bus to take you to Sun city beach club on the lagoon which had free sunbeds and lots of shade with big bean bags to chill out , the food and drink is not inclusive but the place is quiet and relaxing. Also at the hotel I like the fact it had a child free pool which was nice and chilled with a small bar to get your drinks. You could walk out the gate onto the beach .I would return very good hotel. I would like to add go paragliding it was brilliant and would do again the pilots were funny and friendly (Gravity)

Just returned from a 10 night stay at the Olu Deniz Resort Hotel and don't think we could have chose a better hotel in the resort. We found all the staff really friendly especially all the lads who man the various bars in particular Alihan a fantastic young man.
Loved the resort plenty of people trying to get you in their bars, restaurants or shops but never to pushy can't blame anyone for trying can you.
We enjoyed the Monday market up in Hisaronu even with the heat, good fun bartering with the stall holders they've all got the same sob story.
Didn't do any trips but hired a speed boat with our friends Sue and Paul who we met in the hotel and on our last night we all went out to watch the sunset at Harry's bar were we well looked after. All in all a fantastic holiday and we will be looking to come back next year and this will be the first hotel we will look at.

I stayed for two weeks from 20 th July with my 2 young teenage sons. As a single parent it was great for me to let them happily make friends and roam in a safe setting and be entertained by the activities organised.

The animation team were genuinely friendly, extremely funny in their entertainment and set the atmosphere.

Our room was a family room in the new part and although we have stayed in bigger rooms it was fine.

The food was varied and I loved the salads and fish so felt very healthy there. Even liked the Turkish house wine!

We were all sad to come back and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful place and relaxed friendly hotel.

We spent 10 days at the OluDeniz Resort Hotel, and overall we had a very good time.

There were some issues and I will talk about individual aspects:

Accommodation.

We went as a family of four and we had a family room overlooking the slide in the activity pool. The room was nice an clean. It had a double bed and a set of bunk beds all of which were vey comfortable. Small bathroom with just a shore cubicle ,sink and wc. It had a hair dryer also.
Nice flat screen tv with a small number of English speaking channels. However desperately short on wardrobe and storage space. This was a real problem and something the hotel does need to address.

Food and drink

Personally I thought the food was great, my partner who is a vegetarian not so impressed and she manged to lose 5lbs during our visit. We did enjoy the snack bar during the day and the kids the well there, the pancakes re also gorgeous.
The drinks were ok efes draft beer and local wine and spirits, except rum which was extra.
The main bar by the amphitheatre could get busy in the evening andsometimes difficult to get served especially if there were one guests paying or drinks because the bar staff will always serve them first, the bar by the activity pool is muh quite and worth a 30 second walk to getbyour drinks there.

Entertainment.

Mixed really, the animation team work their socks, special mention for Ayshun who has so much energy it made me dizzy, mans Johan who is like a Turkish Brian Conley and is very talented and hardworking. Just the right amount of daytime activities if ou want to be involved. The evening entertainment was actually better when the house team performed although very impressed with the acrobats and fire shows.

Location:

About 2 minute walk to the beach, and although the pictures re orgeous when you are at the shore line it is pebble. And can be very painful ( TIP) buy some surf shoes it will make your beach experience 100% better.
About a 15 minute walk to the
Blue lagoon which is lovely, there is also a shuttle bus in the morning to take you to sun city beach, beware though food and drink is not provided even though this is essentially part of the hotel.
About a 5 min walk to main drag where there is a great selection of shops and restaurants most goods in the shops have prices on them but you can still do a bit of bartering for a good price.

issues,
No air conditioning in the restaurant, which made it very uncomfortable eating and not a nice experience.
No lifeguards around the pool and kids on the slide getting over excited and were a few accidents with lilos on the slide.
Bar staff were mostly good but vey frustrating when paying guests get served out of order, I wash paying guest too but prepaid.
Wardrobe pace in rooms ridiculous.
€3 a day for safe, why????? Why do hotels charge for use of a safe this should be standard.

I would recommend this place, but I would really like to see issues addressed.

Tip: if you get ear infection which many do, don't pay to see a doctor see the pharmacist. I got a course of antibiotics, andveardrops for 12 TL about £4.

Over all we had a great time. And would consider returning.
