We have been back a week now and just can’t wait for our return visit. We read the reviews before booking this hotel and we have got to say everything was true. The staff are lovely nothing is too much trouble, very friendly, entertainment team work very hard for this hotel and management should be very proud they all work at making sure everyone has a great holiday.
We have got to say the food was very very good and the drinks were ok not branded but then not many all inclusives are. We stayed in the Annex by the Adult pool and it was very quiet, the rooms were lovely.
This place is sooo very pretty and watching the Parragliders land with a cocktail in your hand was the amazing. We have to mention “Little Big” who is the most lovely guy and very funny, he will go far in life, good luck to him as he is moving on to bigger things in Sept. Art was very entertaining and works very hard making sure you enjoy your holiday.
Anyway the only way to find out is to book and go you won’t regret it. Thank you Club Belcekiz, we loved it !

Room Tip: From what we saw all room location looked good.

we have just returned from Belcekiz beach resort,we traveled between the 4th to the 12th of july 2013,we were not disappointed at all. The hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by mountains. We arrived at about 4am we got to our room which we thought a bit basic for a 5 star and very small, but very clean. The first night was very noisy dogs barking loud voices bin men i didnt get a wink of sleep,in the morning we realised we were oppisite another hotel where they kept all their rubbish,i was not very happy so i did mention it to reception they said if it happened again they would move us. We ended up staying there because our 2 sons were next door and we didnt want to unpack and then repack we hoped the following nights would be quieter, they were until bin men time 6am. This didnt ruin our holiday we still had a fantastic time over all. Big mention to little big he was fantastic and showed so much interest in us all as a family. I felt the people were a bit clicky everyone seemed to know each other was quite hard to strike up a conversation with people. We went on the dalyan trip mud baths and river trip highly recomend this trip we all had a great day with a great guide. Over all i would highly recomend this hotel but if we went again i would ask for a room in the annexe.

Room Tip: annexe rooms are quieter.

My partner and I first visited Belcekiz in 2012 we have been back 3 times now, when Thaomson first suggested Turkey we'll be honest we didn't really fancy Turkey however I was going for my birthday and we trusted Thomson and WOW were so so glad we did its the best land holiday we have ever had. The first impression we had when we arrived seeing the front of the hotel and the reception area was AWSOME. the reception guy was so polite and organised and shown us to our room personally and the room was very clean, cool. had our own fridge for cold drinks (water was always put in the room)...Breakfast time came and there was such a choice something there for everyone's taste as with every meal at Belcekiz everything is done to a higher and high standard you cannot fault belcekiz for anything...Mehmet, Tarik. Ramos, Gengis and Air (the entertainer) all made our holidays there so much, the excellent service in all bars restaurants alacarte restaurant is so good you have to keep going back there for a meal a couple of times during you stay food is so good, staff and the service and the staff are very attentive making sure everything is just so, the view around you is excellent. You cannot go wrong at Belcekiz its a fantastic place for couples, families, plenty for the children to do they are always occupied with the kids clubs,,The staff have so much energy always going that extra mile for the guests they always have time for you as a person. It is a family atmosphere at Belcekiz with guests and staff alike. So a very BIG thankyou to all the staff at Belcekiz for making all of our stays so special, once you go you never want to leave!! P.S don't forget to ask Tarik to make you a cocktail they are fantastic .......See you soon Belcekiz

Room Tip: all rooms are bright clean and cool can't go wrong at Belcekiz

We spent 2 weeks at the Belcekiz Beach Resort between 17/6/13-01/7/13, and enjoyed it very much. It was our first visit to this hotel, and we were given room 402 in the annex, on the ground floor, and found it to be comfortable, with plenty of storage space, a bath and a shower (I believe the rooms in the main building only have shower facilities), and a good size outside seating area. We found it to be a nice quiet area, and very relaxing.
There is an adults only pool in the annex section which we looked at, but we didn't use this area during our stay, preferring to be in the garden area close to the main pool, which is a lovely size. There was also a small child's pool. there is a lovely play area for the children to play in. Also, being in the garden area meant that we were also aware as to which daytime activities were taking place.
Olu Deniz is a very pretty resort, and the Belcekiz Beach Resort is situated right on the sea front, so there is only a short walk to the beach itself. The hotel has an arrangement to offer free sunbeds and parasols on the beach, all you need is a ticket issued to you at the security gate. Do leave your towels on the beds when you go in to lunch in order to retain your beds, otherwise they will be lost.
Although it is a nice beach to relax on, it is very pebbly, so if you want to go into the sea I would recommend some waterproof footwear. It is also not the safest place to swim. There are strong undercurrents, and it shelves quickly into deep water, so you need to be a fairly confident swimmer to fully enjoy it.
We don't normally look to take an all inclusive holiday, but this was quite enjoyable. Breakfast offered sufficient variety for most guests ( there was also a late breakfast available if you miss the standard one ), lunch was well catered for, and again a late lunch is provided if for any reason you miss the main lunch period, and dinner offered plenty of choice. Drinks were offered all day long by staff regularly coming around and taking your orders, and there was a good selection of drinks at meal times. Ice cream was available between 3.00-4.00pm, there are afternoon snacks, late night snacks, you could certainly pile on the pounds if you took all the options available!!
The daytime activities were a set programme, which included darts, water exercises, boules, table tennis, pool, and water polo. We joined in several activities and found them to be good fun, and a good way to socialise with other guests.
The evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss. There was traditional dancing, or acrobats, or the entertainment team's own production!!. The Monday night band, which played rock music, was excellent. There is also plenty happening in the resort, and the larger resort of Hisaronou is a short taxi ride away.
Finally, the staff. All the way down from the manager to the general staff, you couldn't meet a nicer bunch of people. Very polite, pleasant and friendly. I always try to learn a few words to try and communicate with the staff in their own language. I made several laugh with my pronunciations, but they truly appreciated the attempt, and I would get a smile or pat on the back for the effort.
I can understand why this hotel gets so many repeat guests, so if all you really want is good weather, attractive surroundings, and friendly staff, this is an ideal place to come and relax.
We will definitely go back.

Room Tip: If you want a bath as well as a shower, see if you can book a room in the annex.

Dont be put off by my review title - read on.....Thomsons advertise this Hotel as a 4T plus and the Turkish rate it as a 5 Star - it is not either in my humble opinion.

Reasons why it is not are:

I had a room in the Annexe - 401 - which was on the ground floor and had no natural sunlight in it all day - interior lights required to be on most of time when in the room. Bedroom was small although bathroom was excellent (good size).

Food on offer for lunch/dinner was average - I dont really want a trad English Sunday roast with Yorskshire Pud and gravy when on holiday or Shepherds Pie and there was more mediocre offerings !!. Salad bar OK , sweets usually "Costco" style gateau's and trad Turkish pastries (Baklava) which were crying out for ice cream to accompany - no ice cream at all for kids at lunch or dinner. Water from machines invariably warm - just what you dont need in the heat.

Spirits by and large were local brand i.e. not the best and for 5 Star or 4T plus I would expect branded like Gordons/Smirnoff etc. Beers were Ok but wine same as spirits, cheap brand and usually needed ice to keep at a reasonable temp to drink.

Most bar staff were "enthusastic" teenagers who were helpful to an extent but not qualified to run a bar properly - lot of carrying on behind the bar and lack of knowledge in some cases when making cocktails - first time I've had a Blue Lagoon which was green when served !!!

The old favourite exists here as well - sunbeds avec towels on them from 7.00am onwards (apparently as I was never up before 9.00 so settled for sunbeds in the garden area...and dont blame the Germans ,sad people up and queiung before 7.00am were mostly British so my wife said the one time she was up at that time !!! - there must be a system out there somewhere that works !!!!!!!

Good things about the Hotel, which there are !! :

Rooms were spotlessley clean and cleaning staff were excellent

Entertainment Staff very good and interacted all the time with the clients - shows on almost every night and were worth watching in most cases.

Free sunbeds and umbrellas on beach directly opposite Hotel (although I believe that was withdrawn on the day we left) which was nice.

Thomson reps very good and some worthwhile trips on offer.

Plenty activities for the kids to enjoy

Overall

Olu Deniz itself is a lovely resort set in a stunning picturesque setting at the foot of a mountain right on the coast, the town is quite lively but not too busy and is big enough to walk round but not too big that you would get lost.

In summary, I'm not sure what to make of the Belcekiz Beach, had a lot of good points but also some bad which as I said before does not make this a 5 star / 4T hotel - probably wouldnt go again.

Room Tip: make sure you get a balcony

Just returned from our 5th visit to this hotel and are severely depressed already.  The hotel never ceases to amaze us with its continuous high standards - you are looked after like kings from start to finish.  Although this hotel has a 5 star rating/4 T's from Thomsons  - I can only say that they really do offer 6 star service.  Nothing is ever too much trouble from the management  team, entertainment team thro to the barman, waiting staff and cleaners. The hotel is privately owned and it shows. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is absolutely amazing.   I would challenge anyone who said they did not find the food appealing at this hotel.  Every night there is a themed night where food is cooked freshly in front of you as well as various other choices.  The cakes and puddings are to die for - there is an abundance of fresh salads, breads, pizza's and pasta & fruits.  When the main restuarant is closed the snack bar opens and apart from breakfast and late at night all the food in the snack bar is cooked freshly for you and ranges from sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, pizza and pasta  (unlike other all inclusives where food is often just left in hot plates!!)  I have read some derogatory comments about the hotel's baked beans - well hey - you are in Turkey - so please dont go on holiday expecting Heinz or English sausage or bacon - remember it is a predominantly muslim country after all!!  The baked beans are actually fine - and there are plenty of other breakfast delights to tempt you anyway. They even have a low fat section at breakfast - fat free spreads, yoghurts, milk etc.

The rooms are nicely furnished - we always stay in the annex, the rooms there are slightly bigger as we are usually 3 to a room, it is also very quiet, although you may hear some praying from the local mosque if you're awake during the early hours, but I quite like to hear it as it all adds to the culture. The annex rooms also have a bath and overhead shower - whereas in the main hotel they just have a shower. There is also space above the wardrobes for your suitcases. Rooms also have a hairdryer, fridge, safe (extra charge), kettle with tea and coffee which is topped up daily. Also bottled water is topped up daily and there are a few soft drinks in the fridge on arrival. The annex also has it's own swimming pool - adults only and bar. Emre is the barman there and he is a little gem, extremely hospitable - he will tend to your every need and loves interacting with the guests and will rustle up a special cocktail for you - in return he likes to learn a new English word everyday :)

The main pool is lovely you can either reserve a sunbed around the pool or there are plenty of beds in the gardens if you prefer a bit more shade. Pool bar staff will tend to your every need and regularly ask you for your drinks order - no queuing for drinks at Belcekiz. There are also sunbeds available on the beach which is just outside the front of the hotel. The pool bar also provides snacks when the restaurant is closed. On an evening the pool bar is quieter than the Plaza Bar - so is great if you just want to chill and have a quiet drink. Utku and the rest of the gang will ensure that you are well looked after and that your drinks are flowing.

The Plaza Bar is at the front of the hotel, with a spectacular view of the sea and resort - it is a pleasure to sit there night and day and watch the paragliders and the world go by. Great ambiance and certainly the place to be in Olu Deniz. There is dancing every night and the DJ this year keeps everyone on the dance floor. Your drinks will be topped up instantly by attentive waiters and bar staff - look out for Burak, Sinem and Uguzhan at the bar, they are amazing - oh and Uguzhan makes a mean Mojito :)

The entertainment team do a fantastic job - Air is the entertainment manager - he is a character with a big personality. Also Little Big (we love him) , Jerry, East, Ahmet, Christina and Bell who runs the mini club. They all make an effort to come a talk to you when you first arrive - they will ask if you want to join in for the daily activities, but won't pressure you - it's fine if you say no. Killer darts, lilo racing, french bowls, killer pool, table tennis etc. They also do a few shows which are quite amusing and may require audience participation!!! There are also live acts most nights in the ampitheatre and a mini disco for the kids.

If you want a change of scenery - you can visit The Hangout or the a la carte restaurant these are not part of the all inclusive, but you get a 10% discount. Can recommend both - The Hangout has a lovely position upstairs just next to the hotel with excellent views and Ritchie and the crew will make you some wonderful cocktails and the food is good too. The a la carte restaurant has been refurbished this year, now called Spice & Pesto, it's lighter and more airy and the food is devine - I would say it is probably the best place to eat in Olu Deniz. The service is also exemplary.

The resort itself is small but beautiful set between pine clad mountains, with just a small strip which is just a stones throw from the hotel with lots of shops selling gifts etc, leather goods, shoes. There are a couple of pharmacies and supermarkets. Also plenty of restaurants and bars should you be tempted to go elsewhere. One tip if you want to do some excursions use the local travel agents like focus as they are much cheaper than booking through Thomsons - can recommend the Jeep Safari - fantastic day out.

Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our holidays so special. Cant wait for our next visit.

Room Tip: Annex Rooms - if you like a bit more space and a Bath&Shower
