“Hotel Bronze, Oludeniz”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 September 2013

Went with Solitair Travel for 8 days. Hotel Bronze is a family run hotel. Rooms are quite basic with a balcony and aircon but adequate. Have to admit mine smelled a little damp in the wardrobes and cupboards and there was an occasional smell of drains. Room overlooked next door hotels/bars, luckily music stopped at a reasonable hour. Other rooms overlook the pool.
What is great about Hotel Bronze is its location near to the beach and its swimming pool, clean and just the right temperature. I was content to just sit by the pool and watch the many paragliders drift by
Food (dinner) is a little basic with very little choice but I found it adequate if I went out and had a lovely lunch. If you don't like melon (which I don't) for dessert, tough.
Staff do go out of their way to treat you as an individual and the cleaners are lovely. went to the Sea Horse Restaurant on the beach which had great and tasty seafood for lunch.
Be warned that the hotel do not take cards so need to pay cash at end of stay.
Holiday was spoilt somewhat on return journey with 10 hours stuck in Dalaman airport whilst Thomson had to find another plane and crew as the dreamliner which we went out on (lovelyu) had a technical fault (oooerrr). Dalaman airport has to be the biggest rip off for food and drink in the world - 25 quid for a brandy and sandwich - and Thomson did not look after us well - subject of complaint and possible action now. Would I return to the Bronze - on balance yes for the location, the pool and the lovely service from the family - not for the food and rooms though.

Stayed here in June after my booked holiday was cancelled one week before due to go away. The Solitair lady that called me asked where I wanted yo go as my first choice was cancelled due to lack of interest, also asking if I wanted to change dates. I thought that this was terrible service the week before as I had changed holiday money and got
train ticket as there was no clue the holiday was cancelled until the last minute. Little choice of holiday was left for me. Full cancellation or a couple of choices for the date.

I have complained since returning but the company has not had the decency to respond.

I would stay at the hotel again as the staff and location were brilliant but no way would I use Solitair Holidays again and would not recommend to anyone.

Stayed here with Solitair in July. They take over most of the rooms but the owner does keep a few aside for other guests so be aware there may be a few non-Solitair people (they were all Turkish and included a couple of children the week I was there) around. The rooms and bathroms are basic but perfectly adequate and were kept very clean by the lovely housekeeping staff. All the staff were great in fact, with the hotel bar (very reasonably priced) usually staffed until the last guest went to bed. The food was mixed, but there was usually enough choice for you to find something you liked, and there are so many great and reasonably priced restaurants within a few minute's walk that you have plenty of other options. The hotel's location is ideal - it's just a few steps from the beachfront, in between the Buzz and Help bars. I really enjoyed Olu Deniz and will definitely return.

The staff and management stand out as they are so friendly, approachable and helpful.
The Hotel, perfectly situated near the beach, not too close to the madness and close to the many shops in the resort.
Clean, and comfortable with good tasty food. The pool is a nice temerature and adequate for the customers at the hotel. Maybe a few issues with sun bed chasing as the sun moves around the pool, but that's only really a problem if you never leave the Hotel!
The resort is small, but doesn't lack any of the things you would need, restaurants, activities and a lovely beach. Never too much hassle from the street traders, they are quite laid back for Turkey. A great destination for solo travellers

My first week in the hotel bronze was wonderful, hotel room basic, very clean, food excellent all week, met a great group of men and women all ages and personalities. Claire the rep looked after us well, very accommodating in every way. Then off for a week on the gullet sailing around the Turkish coastline, had an amazing week, crew good, food excellent, the 2 other ladies and 5 gentleman were brilliant company, all ages again, I felt this added to the weeks enjoyment. Thoroughly recommend solitaire as a holiday company, I will be using them again. Fiona
