Stayed at hotel from 26th Sept to 3rd Oct. The hotel is in a stunning location and very modern. The food was fantastic and so much to choose from. We looked forward to our cone at 3 pm every day!!
The staff are incredibly hard working, friendly and will go out of their way to help you. There are a few tweaks which need to be done before it opens next season but would totally recommend this hotel.

this hotel could be a very very good place to stay when it gets all the niggles sorted out.it has an ala carte menu you pay roughly a tenner to sit eat a nice meal in the lobby bar witch looks like a motor way services and have kids disco less then ten foot away joke .bathrooms are great apart from finishing touchs which are formicker in stead of marble.the stairs are a nightmare but you get use to them.staff were great we asked for wake up calls 3 times never got one .its got a disc and it only gets used twice a week it could be used for other things .being fair its only been open 6 months it can go either way i hope it improves 3.5/5

First of all, we would like to thank you for your valued feedback which we are taking on board and making positive changes.
Last year was our first year and we had some teething problems as all new hotels could have. We sorted them out in winter time and we are ready for 2014 summer.
We will be very pleased to host you in Orka Sunlife Resort & SPA again.
If you have any questions and requests please do not hesitate to contact with us.
Kind Regards

Me and my new wife Sam stayed here from 24th sept for one week for our honeymoon.and had a great time. Please don't listen to the haters as they are uncalled for and unjust and should of done there research!
I'm writing my review in bullet points, good and bad!
GOODS-Ask for room upgrade and got it from superior to a complete jacuzzi suite, lovely with gifts. This room was very big with loads of space :)
-Lovely pool and lots of slides,
-Great drinks choice and bars,Terrace bar has great views over mountains and olu deniz.
-very clean thro out,Friendly cleaners.
-clean towels and room etc everyday with towel patterns on beds, lovely.
-Food was excellent all the time with huge choice even for picky people,Can't understand how you could moan.desserts where awesome.
-Mainly helpful staff! reception not included!
-Beautiful views
-Easy to get taxi but long steep hill to dolmus stop,
-Our suite was fab with great views,
-Lovely spa.
THIS IS A VERY GOOD HOTEL WHICH COULD BE EXCELLENT WITH A FEW CHANGES!!

BADS! -The lift is a nightmare and far to slow and theres to many stairs to pool. This is a design issue which needs to be sorted asap. These can be avoided if going out by going up and thro the back way! Don't take it out on the nice lift attendent, its not his fault!
-Some areas of finish of areas of hotel could be better but these are niggles!
-steep road from reception so can be exhausting if you go out for day but if your lazy you'll be fine as the views are your reward!
-Pool was slightly cold and slides need to be open for longer.
-entertainment was basic but loads of places to go out to for a cheap change.olu deniz and hisaronu are both great and 10mins away on dolmus.
-Reception staff where poor and did'nt really help enough when required.
-This hotel should be classy but some of the clients where abit rough and rude! NOT NEEDED.

That's that, all in all a very good hotel with some minor niggles which all can be fixed easily with Omer and the right team sorting it in closed season. Also a few of the less welcome guests where moaning that the entertainment was poor for kids!! ITS THE END OF SEPTEMBER SO YOUR KIDS SHOULD BE AT SCHOOL AND GETTING AN EDUCATION! THATS WHY ITS POOR FOR KIDS! DEAL WITH IT AND SAVE YOUR POCKET MONEY!!
Also i would recommend you visited places around the area and did't just sit in the hotel like some people did! What a waste of a stunning area!
You have the blue lagoon, olu deniz, kayakoy ghost village,Hisaronu,Fethiye and market,Loads of boat trips, jeep safari's,Dalyan and turtle beach and loads for aswell. All are easy to do,cheap and are very enjoyable and as relaxing as you want them to be :)

We would defo go back and had a wonderful holiday and i now love Turkey.

Room Tip: Superior sea view room or suite with sea view.Others room are suppose to be abit small!

Just spent a week at this newly built hotel in Olu Deniz Turkey.
It's really very good although not as luxurious as the brochures would have you believe it is very comfortable none the less.
The rooms are good, very clean and well equipped, the bathrooms have showers to die for.
The restaurant is very good but not for those that expect fine dining, it's a good quality buffet style facility that is well staffed and with ample food choice for all, the deserts are amazing!
Our waiter, Sinan, was exceptional and a very nice bloke too.
The cleaning staff all spoke a little English and everyone on the team was very helpful. Bar facilities were very good with plenty of bar staff to tend to your needs, the cocktails were not to the liking of Mrs. P but you can't please everyone eh?
The spa and fitness suite were very very good and this was to Mrs.P's liking as was the wonderful pool area. The views from the elevated terrace were really good looking out over Olu Deniz and the lagoon and was also a lovely area to sit and soak up some sun with a long cool drink.

The not so goods.......... The entertainment team was not brilliant they were all nice guys just not professional entertainers or hosts or whatever they should be they just weren't up to scratch.
The evening entertainment was also pretty poor except for one singer guitarist, who was pretty average and an African acrobatic troupe who were outstandingly good, the belly dancer was also entertaining but probably not really a true belly dancer, everything else was pretty rubbishy I'm afraid to say.

The stairs...... Black marble stairs with no edge markings coupled with low lighting, only one stumble but be careful if you go, and so many of them everywhere but If you're hotel is on the side of a mountain it's to be expected but...... DON'T GO HERE IF YOU HAVE BREATHING, HEART, OR MOBILITY ISSUES, it will surely kill you.
The lifts are ok but not overly reliable and some fairly dodgy electrics, as you always find abroad, means that if it rains, which it did once, it's probably going to breakdown. Which it did.

In short, a good hotel with a few teething problems, would I go again? Absolutely, hopefully next year or the year after.

Room Tip: For a good room with a good view and the least amount of stairs, try to book into Jupiter block floo...

Terrible hotel lacks leadership, most of the staff are miserable(didn't even say thank you when we checked out just "Ok Done!") The hotel was not built properly. Rooms, halls and pretty much everything is full of damp with water dripping from the shower from the bathroom above. The plaster on the ceiling will soon collapse. When the rain came our room flooded from outside quite severely getting our clothes wet(We had packed our suitcases and left them on the floor as we were leaving the next day) . Rang reception 3 times nothing happened eventually found the security guard (The nicest person at the hotel. What a lovely guy he was!) who was helping people up the stairs with an umbrella who got some towels and called reception who said we need the technical team. No one ever came. Plates in the restaurant are dirty as is the furniture and tables. The lighting in the halls and pool toilets is inadequate and an accident waiting to happen. Entertainment was awful. The entertainment team disappear, 3 nights there was no entertainment at all! On our last evening the cleaner turned up at 6pm with a towel and said she was off the next day(we saw her working the next day), there was then an awkward pause as she waited for us to give her money. I always leave a tip for cleaners and helpful staff but this is not acceptable behaviour from a staff member. Overall I feel I have been ripped off for this holiday. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone! There is a lot of work to do to bring it up to standard!
