After are fantastic week cruising, we traveled to the Green Forest Hotel. Was meet by the staff who checked us in at a lovely clean reception, we were shown to our room and the bell boy refused to let us carry our cases. The room again clean with a lovely smell, my only gripe with the room was not much clothes space and only six hangars. Don't need to give you the lay out as other people have put it in theirs. You can hire towels from the spa at £10 deposit and get clean one's everyday. For most of our week we lay round the quiet pool, had to move about a bit to get the sun due to the trees. Found a lot of beds with towels on early, one morning looked out at 4.30 and towels were on 3 beds (tut tut). Food fantastic!! and who ever complains on here about it, well you must be VERY!!! hard to please. Drinks so so, we have had better and you have to ask for ice in your drinks. Staff great bunch, the animation team work so hard, pat on the back lads. Oh and not forgetting Chris a very dedicated rep and good sport. Thank you Green Forest for a great week.

Had a 10 night stay here and was thoroughly impressed by the hotel and its staff.
Rooms very nice, comfortable and well furnished, bottled water in the room refrigerator every day, hotel kept spotlessly clean, food in the restaurant excellent.
Don't hesitate to go here- thoroughly recommended, and will return.

We've just spent a week at the green forest , our first all inclusive holiday and our first as an extended family with children 13,16,19+20.
Very clean well organized hotel, polite staff nothing too much trouble. Extremely impressed with the restaurant staff very courteous and hygienic.
Entertainment all day and each night if you wanted it but no bother if you didn't the clap clap dance is still a daily occurrence in this house ! thanks Freddie!.
Thompson representative very accommodating to some extreme requests!! Thanks (he looks 16! My son not the rep!)
No faults found, wish we could've stayed on.

Room Tip: Face the pool, balconies high up are quiet.

We stayed in the Green Forest Hotel in June14 and there isn't an awful lot that I can add to the previous reviewers. The Hotel is just outside the main hub of Hisaronu and quiet enough for the peace loving folk but within easy walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops.

I sent an email previous to arrival to see if we could get a top floor room and when we arrived were swiftly escorted to our room. The top floor rooms have just a tiny balcony but that wasn't a problem for us, and we knew beforehand, and you still get the magnificent mountain views.

Food was very very nice, and we loved that there was a lot of Turkish cuisine around, although you get Yorkshires with your Sunday roast if you so desire.

The bar charges for the drinks after midnight, and quite a few people "lined" them up. The cocktails aren't up to much, so if you want a nice one, go into town and have one or two there.

We stayed at the quiet pool, getting a sun lounger wasn't an issue as there were plenty of them around ( June). There are lovely walks around the hotel where you can explore the surroundings, see wild tortoises and take in the breath taking views, but go early as it can get pretty hot.
Chris, the rep was present every day and is a lovely guy who seems to have a lot of enthusiasm for his job. Not something you see very often with reps.;)

The Green Forest is a lovely, well run hotel and we can thoroughly recommend it.

Room Tip: top floor rooms seem smaller and have only a tiny Juliette type balcony, but you get much better vie...

Superb hotel!

On arrival to the hotel the porters came and got our suitcases from the taxi, great service.

Quick check in and again the suitcases were brought to our room. The rooms are basic but very very clean. The maids do an amazing job and our maid was so friendly, thank you for a great job.

The complex was amazing and free wifi wherever you were! The only downside was that pool was super cold so not many people used it.

The food was excellent with plenty of variety. The waiters were very polite and friendly.

I would definitely recommend going to the blue lagoon. Very beautiful.

Thank you to Joe our rep, great service and very helpful. His welcome meeting was one of funniest
I have ever been to but very informative.

Being a lover of all things Turkish, and having had extensive travel and holidays here for over 20 years (even before it was a more commercial, popular destination) this hotel was really quite special! We wish it had been longer, as it finished off our week's Thomson Cruise, for a short stay of 3 days...

The setting is in a beautiful, secluded pine forest with stunning mountain views and yet it is 'literally' a 5 minutes walk into the hectic, thriving, busy, shopping, restaurant and bar area of Hisaronu.

The hotel gave us a family suite, as there were no twin rooms available, how LUCKY were we!!! We ended up with two inter connecting rooms, a good sized bedroom and a lounge area, both with TVs, WiFi is free, a fridge and I presume every room had a hairdryer offered, a bath (not so big, and I'm 5ft!) with whirling jets, and a shower. It overlooked the gardens and pool area, and despite that, this was a quiet room for sleeping in. We didn't hear people coming and going, even with extensive entertainment offered nightly until late at the hotel. We tended to go into town and do our own thing, shopping, trying some of our favourite restaurants and bars. It is SO lovely that the Turkish friends we made remember us and always made us welcome.

The pools are AMAZING, as there is a main pool for all the activities providing by the Animation Team, there is a small one for relaxing by and watching the little ones, and a hidden treasure at the back adjacent to the forest which is quiet, relaxing and gets the sun with a little shade throughout the day. It is near the outdoor massage and hammock/ bean-bag area for chilling.

Food is never ending at various locations; pool and restaurant, we tended to wait and have meals in the lovely restaurant upstairs overlooking the pool and having views of the forest and mountains. Huge fans provide a continual breeze both indoors and out, so it is not overly uncomfortable. You never have to wait or get disgruntled when hungry, as there is always availability of seating in the dining area. There is a good choice with plenty of variation and some special nights whereby they do Chinese, Turkish and the like. Soups and salads are gorgeous, as I pretended to cut down by having this- although they usually accompanied something scrummy additionally, ha ha :)

Trips are extensive, offered by the reps, and do go to the meetings just to learn what's on offer and where you fancy trying. If you walk into town they are VERY competitively priced at a variety of shops and usually offer a bit more for your money. You get the opportunity to meet new people, share experiences and learn about their holidays, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Often they give more value for money with little extras like a longer trip around different islands, more stops to dive in on the boat trips and sun yourself on a beach, perhaps a later time to finish the trip. So it IS worth investigating other options.

This was the first year, as we went 2 and 4 years ago to the same resort although different hotels, that the Turkish wanted British Stirling or even Euros. Not everything is priced in Turkish lira, mostly in £'s; which is great and most things ARE priced- although they will still haggle a bargain with you. The rate is SO much better for converting to lira over there, do NOT bring it out changed if you want a better deal. Everywhere wants £'s so you really don't have to change money beforehand at all...

The Spa at the hotel is WONDERFUL... and a deal is often to be made, despite the prices you see. An example is for £28 I had a sauna, Turkish bath and a neck, shoulder and back massage followed by a relaxing beverage. In town the offer something similar for £10 and it's easy to find at the 'other' end of the town near the medical center.

The staff in all areas work SO hard. They are friendly, animated, personable, some characters, always professional, polite, courteous and happy to help Everywhere is clean, nothing is too much trouble and within a very short space of time they all know you and want to make your holiday special!

In hindsight I wish we had gone to the hotel before the cruise, as it would've acclimatised my skin for the sun and enabled me to wind down from work. I also wished we had stayed for a week instead of just 3 days. It was just the icing on the cake following a much needed break. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel, the staff, the location, the town and are definitely going back again soon! :)

Room Tip: Equally the rooms with a pool view or the mountain view are beautiful, the rooms west facing got the...

We stayed at the Green Forest for 4 nights after our cruise. The staff were the friendliest of any hotel we have ever been to. The accommodation was spotless and the food fantastic, so much choice that we ended up eating far too much.
The entertainment was really aimed at the children so wasn't for us.
If you are going soon, check out the pets they keep. There is a lovely friendly female cat and her kittens that live at the hotel. They don't disturb you in the restaurant but welcome a little omelette or potatoe cake at breakfast.
We would certainly return to this beautiful hotel. Have a great time if you are going this year.
