Magic Tulip Oludeniz
Ranked #81 of 121 Hotels in Oludeniz
Reviewed 24 June 2012

This was my fourth stay at this hotel and as always very pleased with it. Friendly hard working staff, clean tidy rooms and a great Turkish breakfast. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to the beach, shops and night life of Oludeniz but just off the main street so is fairly quiet at night.
The price of drinks at the hotel are about the same price, or a little lower that you would pay around town and they keep a bar tab for you which you can pay at any time or at the end of your holiday.
Large Efes draft TL6.00
Soft drinks TL3.00
Large water TL2.00
Efes Light (bottle) TL7.00
Food prices are also very reasonable but air conditioning was extra at TL58 a week.

Room Tip: Avoid basement rooms (can be a little damp and dark)

I had relatives staying in this hotel as me and my boyfriend were staying further up the mountain. Our hotel was great however we spent majority of our time in the tulip. The rooms were clean and comfy from what i saw but the thing that makes the tulip so "magic" is the hard work from the staff. Always a great atomosphere and we have booked to stay for a week on 7th July. Im so excited to go back and see all the staff!! Turkish night is hillarious, always laughter and great banter! Would reccomend this hotel to all!

Myself and boyfriend (angela & andy) room 410 have just got back sunday and i can say this was a fantastic hotel,I dont no what on eartg anyone would say anything negative about this hotel for!Ignorance maybe. From the start we were treated like kings, nothing was to much trouble, room cleaned every day, breakfast was continetal which was lovely, tea, coffe and juice also provided and if you fancy an english breakfast it only costs around £4, the food at the hotel was also very well priced and very tasty, nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff, the pool area was very clean and we could always get a sunbed,to the people that moan on here about not getting an english breakfast,go buy one or stay in england and stop disrispecting these lovely people, baluga restaurant serves excellant food just round the corner and the Rose bar is a must, the hotel is only 2 mins from the beach and the main strip! Its not to noisey in this area all as by law the music has to be turned down at midnight! If you fancy a lively night out go into hisoranu which is 5 mins in a taxi or Dolmus both very cheap, horse riding is also must do and visit seahorse beach just beautiful! Thank you to ahmed (manager) and jason (bar staff) for such a lovely holiday and we hope to come back! Turkey is such a beautiful place and missed already! Angela xxxxx

The Magic Tulip is a jewel in a very varied crown. The hotel is, as noted by some, basic but with high standards of cleanliness. Fresh towels are provided every day, with a daily maid service to clean the bathroom.

The staff, especially Jason, work extremely hard to provide a very attentive and thoughtful service. Nothing appears too much trouble, no matter how long a day they have had.

The pool area is well kept, with lots of sun beds (both shaded or in sun spots) and there's a lovely dining/bar area alongside if you get peckish or thirsty! Local restaurants, market and beaches are a short walk away (less than 2-3 minutes) with a diverse range of dining options available. Although you are offered many times to try their establishments, no offence is taken if you refuse.

There are also lots of excursion centres, offering a range of activities from boat trips to paragliding. Having tried the latter, have to recommend this experience if it's the only thing you do whilst in Oludeniz. Pegas (a company I would suggest) were amazing and made the opportunity to see Turkey at 6000ft an enjoyable memory.

I could mention many other things about the trip (Fethiye Market, the Blue Lagoon beaches, the glorious mountain views that surround the town) but feel would not do any of them justice.

Please, please do not be put off by some of the negative reviews as I feel the hotel appears to have worked really hard to amend any issues and feel it would be a disservice to them to overlook what is an amazing, friendly and welcoming place.
