on arrival security /reception was spot on..room lovely, cleaned everyday maids worked really hard,1st day no sunbeds available until you realise you ve got to get up at 6- 6 30 to get 1..pool lovely and clean ,aerobics quite fun but could do with changing the music abit..water polo on aswell but shudnt be as kids and sunbathers getting hit with the ball ..entertainment not very kid friendly ,ircan and others work hard but i think there hands are tied as typical all inclusive dont want you sitting round drinking and relaxing the profits away so forces you to go out .food is not bad but like anything else you get fed up with the same stuff. red hot in the restaurant, a few fans and a better air con wouldnt go a miss..ice creams only on 3pm til 5pm same time as the slide by the way .probably better being a self catering hotel as you cannot fault the rooms /pool/staff etc ,1st time a/i and defo the last..2 sunbeds allocated to your room on a ticket system just an idea but not enough room .extend the garden area and put sunbeds in there which wouldnt be to bad,.a little disco for the kids/teenagers in the burger bar area would be ok then parents could sit and watch them play safely from the dining area outside once the meals are finished,, just a few ideas as hotel would be better with a bit of tinkering, .

My partner and myself have just returned from a 10 day trip at the Alize. On arrival we were promptly shown to our room which was spacious, clean, quiet and of a high standard. We had a middle floor room with a balcony over looking the pool. The pool is clean and very refreshing, this was cleaned every night and also the surrounding sun bed areas. The area of Oludeniz is paradise and it is a must to stay at the Sugar Beach lagoon in a beach hut (we did this for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it). We met some amazing friends while away and everyone around the pool was friendly. The entertainment team were amazing and very funny and worked so hard. The only downside to this holiday was the repetitive food (so we ate out a lot), lack of sun beds and some very rude staff at the bar (OZ was very efficient and friendly though). Oh you must have a turkish bath (at the hotel) at the start of your holiday....its amazing!!

We enjoyed our week at the Alize.

The entertainment was not as good as we had hoped. Only saw entertainment take place about twice during our stay during the day. This was limited to aerobics , water polo and French boules. At night we had to wait until 10 before the show started.

Food was good but can understand why others have said it was repetitive.

It was very hard to get a sun lounger- not enough for all guests and some people threw a towel down but never used the sun bed. So it was just wasted and unfair on guests who wanted to use them.

Bar staff were quite mixed and often slow at serving particularly with regards to women.

Rooms were clean and maids were pleasant.

The Hotel Photographer was very pleasent and took many photos for us to choose from to remember our holiday.

Our first trip to Turkey and our first all-inclusive holiday and basically the Alize delivers what it says on the tin. If you want a friendly well-run hotel offering almost unlimited, respectable-to-good quality food and drink, from breakfast to midnight, and would be happy with 3 hours of boisterous and repetitive pool entertainment (1030 until 1300h) then it's pretty good value. If however you are looking forward to a quiet poolside read, come back after lunch or find somewhere different!

The hotel is classed as 4 star in Turkey but 3.5 star by Cosmos. 3.5 star seems nearer the mark. The pool, food and service are definitely 4 star, while our family room was more like 3 star, albeit clean and perfectly adequate with bunk beds for the kids, reasonably comfortable bed, good hot shower and a perfectly functioning aircon which allowed us to sleep pretty well. (being positioned the other side of the pool from the restaurant, bar and evening entertainment also helped!)

Not sure if this hotel is particularly promoted in the NW England or it was just while we were there but there seemed to be alot of extended family groups from the NW, many of whom were returning for the second, third, or fourth time. Very few Russians or Turkish while we stayed

Pros
Pool - nice, clean family-friendly, with the added attraction of the slide. Both of us adults got stuck -and we are average weight (!) but the kids loved it.

Service - Really excellent, friendly service throughout the hotel. The waiters and bar staff seemed to take a pride in the their work. Waiters cannot wait to clear your plates or help you carry your meals/drinks.

Food - Alize hotel got such a lot of stick over its food on Trip Advisor we were alittle worried , so we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety, although several of the lunch time meals appeared to get "makeovers" for the evening, there was always a fresh omelette/grill/barb-que option, freshly cooked bread and a wide variety of interesting desserts.

Location - perfect location as stated by others. Spectacular view of the Mountain from the pool and in a fantastically beautiful area . 100 yards to "The Strip" ( an avenue of very cheap copied branded sunglasses , top (Jack Wills , Hollister etc), 8 minutes walk to the main Beach (not the best-see below )

Family Orientated - probably best for families for +/- 6-16 year olds
Pool Aerobics - Fun, inclusive and wakes you up (but the same music and regime every day)
Photographer - excellent photographer takes discreet photos of your family during the day which are available to buy Or if you ask him he will take shots of you in the pool area or dressed up for dinner en famille . Really great quality and reasonable

Cons
Loud Music and incessant commentary during morning pool activities - to be fair Erkan really works his socks off and tries to involve everyone from the oldest to the disabled . However the music tape is the same EVERY day and Erhan's mike is turned up so loud that you can fairly much forget trying to continue reading, sleeping for 3 hours each day. In the end we went out and came back at 3 when it was quieter!

The Sunbeds - Not quite as bad as we had been led to believe but things turned nasty a few times over the availability of sunbeds and the repositioning of parasols and towels .All abit pathetic and territorial really but if they had a clear fair system whihc stopped people putting their towels down 3 4 hours before they intended to use the sunbeds this could be avoided

A Few other points
- Seahorse Beach at the blue lagoon .Its nice ,small ,hot but easy to paddle in for kids with good swimming. The lagoon is very grungy though .Our swim suits were covered in grime.
- Sun City Beach . Furthest away on the Lagoon - by far the nicest quietest beautiful beach and no LOUD MUSIC!!. If you call them they'll pick you up for free, even though the hotel will never mention this and bring you back FOC at 1730 -far nicer and clearer than Seahorse . 10TL per adult, kids free
-Take the bus from bus station to KABAK (30 mins) (This is something a bit different and was recommended by a local. It is not a regular excursion!) From bus stop at Kabak walk 20 mins down incredibly beautiful track past backpacker huts on stilts .Lovely beach
-Fettihye market is hot and expensive.Prices are lower on Olu Deniz strip
-Buy excursions from The Strip and not from Tour Operators (Cosmos excursions f.ex. incredibly expensive) .
-Recommend Sky Sports for Tandem Paragliding . 200TL .Wouldnt normally do this sort of thing or indeed buy a DVD of it,but was spectacular, excellent safe service and the HD DVD Video they made is just incredible.Burak was my pilot .Felt like he reaaly knew what he was doing... a good thing I didnt read the previous review (;-)

we had a brilliant holiday. 3 adults 4 teenagers and a 6 year old. Food suited all and there was a good choice of turkish food. fresh meat dish was cooked /bbq each night outside. Fresh ommletts cooked outside to order each morning. Drinks no complaints perfectly adequate range. I think stopping at 12 is a bonus as it means the hotel is quiet after this as no one stays out and pays for the drinks beyond the all inclusive time. The drinkers headed off to town.
Rooms fine ,air conditioning ensured a good nights sleep. Some shananigens with towels on chairs by the pool but no real problem . In fact generally a few free and hotel was full..Hotel provides towels and pool towels.Swimming pool never crowded.Again note the hotel was full.
Noted one review concerned by lack of seats in bar. but restaraunt area next to the bar was more pleasant place to sit and drink.I had worries from reviews sun loungers and bar seating would be an issue. Absolutely no problem .Pool never crowded. A very family orientated hotel .Mostly English guests but a number from turkey and eastern europe. I wonder what they made of the entertainment which was geared to brits. Did not take part in entertainement not my thing ,Seemed popular but very in house in comparrison to spanish hotels on entertainement circuit. Table tennis for kids and pool tables for free use.
Free bus to sea horse bay which was ok but meant you had to stay there in hot afternoon sun. Main beach much cooler and a short walk but water not suitable for toddlers as gets deep very quick. Walk up to lagoon and pay in then go to the end and you can enjoy both the shallow lagoon and the deep water on the sea side ,also much calmer and rafts to swim out to.
The hotel is an easy walk to town and the beach.and is in a great location as there are no hotels between it and the mountain so the views of the mountain are perfect.
would happily go back to the alize hotel and hope you enjoy your time as much as we did.

Just returned from the second visit to the Alize hotel. Fantastic hotel, rooms are clean and the food is good. The staff at the hotel are outstanding, everyone from hotel manager to the cleaners are friendly and can not do enough for the guests. Would recomend this hotel to anyone and can not wait to visit again.

Had a lovely week, rooms, food, location all good, had a problem with noisy neighbours, but Manager and Rep sorted that out and moved us to a different block. Sea Horse beach is a nice change too. Dolmus buses run like clockwork. Visit Jade Restaurant on the sea front, the food there is amazing.
