“Great location, great holiday”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

Ok, so yes the rooms are a little small and the pool area is a little slippy (as written in previous reviews). But don't let this put you off. You are 20 yards away from the top of the 'Strip' (shops and restaurants) and yet you don't hear them at night. The whole area is lovely, not over built with tower block style hotels (nothing over 4 storeys). The hotel is friendly, very clean and suited our family (2 teenage girls) perfectly. The pool is lovely, big enough and a great temperature. The food is a little average at breakfas but lunch and dinner are delicious, with freshly cooked turkish food. The ice cream from the snack bar between 3-5 pm is really tasty. Make use of the free shuttle service to the Blue Lagoon. This is a wonderful beach and really made our holiday. The food in the beach side restaurant is good and not really expensive. Find out about their Tuesday night beachside sunset dinners - great value for money and so nice to have dinner as the sunsets. I also have to agree with another reviewer - the waiter Semi was very friendly.
The Animation team are quite 'entertaining' and try their best. We don't normally get involved in this sort of thing but even I was doing the 'Alize' dance by the end of the holiday. The entertainment at night is noisy but does stop by 11pm. It didn't bother us.
This is our third all inclusive holiday and we always think that the next one can't beat the last one - but this one did. We would definately go back to this hotel and this location.

Room Tip: Rooms in the corners of the accomodation blocks are smaller, but there a only a few of these. You ma...

We stayed at the Alize the last 2 week in June, we went out to celebrate a friend 60 birthday.
The hotel was well placed to access the main strip (Were most of the bars & restraunts are)
The hotel itself was ok but we felt it does need refurbishment. There was cracked and chipped crockery and there were no double sheets, we asked for a sheet because there was just a counter pane on the bed. We were given a single sheet, but we managed to get another.
Rooms and towels cleaned daily and the staff are nice enough.
The entertainment people work hard although we can't comment on the evening shows as we went out every night. I joined in with the daytime activities when I was there, but this was probably only 3-4 times in the fortnight.
The food unfortunately wasn't up to much. For example although fresh omelette were available in the morning, there were no proper sausage or bacon and most food was only barely warm.
In the evening there would be fresh cooking outside, which was usually nice but there wasn't really anything to go with it. Fr example one night there was fajitas, but no tortillas to go with the mixture, only barely warm rice or cold potato wedges. There was only 1 bar at the poolside, so if you wanted beer or wine with your meal, you had to go and get this from the bar. If you wanted a short, there was only gin, vodka or raki which was included, all others had to be paid for.
Two years we stayed at the Greenland hotel in Ovacik and we were probably spoilt by this (please see my review)
I love Olu Deniz and would return time after time, but not to this hotel, we did eat out most nights and there were some great places to eat in town, so didn't get the benefit of the all inc.
The beach is what we like as it shelves quite quick into the sea. You really need beach shoes though which you can buy in most places for about £6.
We also went on the 7 island boat trip and got the bus to Kaya ghost village, both worth a visit.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view and high floor. We had room 128 which was on top floor and you could see the sea, t...

Where to start, everything is clean and tidy and kept that way by the staff. The rooms are modern looking, plenty of wardrobe space for your cloths but probably could do with a extra drawer for your small bits. Room towels are changed daily and you can get beach towels from reception at no charge as well. Most of the rooms will have a perfect sea view from there balcony what has a couple of chairs and a table(and a ashtray if you need a smoke) the rooms also overlook the large nicely shaped pool with a large water slide. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool and the baby pool. The Bar is under full shade (if you need a break from sunbathing) and has the usual all inclusive drinks.
Food, breakfast is mainly a continental one, but the chef does fried eggs and omelette outside for you, dinner and afternoon lunch has a large selection of food what changes daily and at the afternoon the chefs cook for you some extra luxuries on the BBQ, snacks are served nearly all day in the snack room.
Entertainment, the hotel entertainment was done by Erkan Erol and his staff, there was always something going off from first thing in the morning to last thing at night, every day he did something different and always put in 120% effort to achieve a great success, at night time there is a amphitheatre where he put on a great show daily.
All in all id have to say it was a perfect stay

Room Tip: Third floor rooms have the best view.

sally and steve
This was 4th trip to Turkey and bye far the best.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, staff were friendly especially a waiter called Semi, he done everything to make you feel welcome and always had a smile. we couldn't fault the food but beware the deserts are dangerous i put on over a stone but was worth it, lots of sunbeds but like anywhere you need to get up early if there is a group of you but if only 2 you can usually get a bed entertainment on and off all day but they are not pushy water airobics, stretching, darts, waterpolo, and vollyball in the evening but all up to you. more suited to couples rather than kids but they do cater for them, would happily recomend to anybody. oh added bonus you get free shuttle and entry to Blue Lagoon with bed and parasol

Room Tip: we had 204 on back corner so sun didnt hit it until about 9am and any noise went over us so was love...

My wife and I have just returned from our first visit to Turkey. We spent two weeks at this hotel. Our room was bright and clean, towels changed every day although not necessary. The staff were all very friendly and could not do enough to help and not afraid to go out of their way to do this. The food was very good there was always a good choice and something for everyone. There was a lifeguard on duty at the pool all day. The animation team were excellent and worked their socks off. The hotel was a short walk away from the main shops and restaurants and about 10mins. to the beach. There is a free shuttle bus to the Blue Lagoon which is well worth a visit. We have stayed at some much larger hotels in the past and they would do well to adopt some ideas from the Alize. We can only conclude that we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend the Alize hotel.

We visited this hotel a couple of years ago, and decided to come back, it is clean fresh and tidy and the food is delicious and is fresh & replenished often The choice is fantastic with something for everyone. The staff are all really friendly. We visited the Sea Horse Beach a couple of times using the free shuttle bus this is a busy but beautiful part of the lagoon and if you are lucky, as we were, you will see some turtles. We also spent time on the beach which was popular with the locals. The Alize is local to the shops, beach and lagoon and we would certainly consider visiting again. It is child friendly with Erkan and his group making everyone welcome and trying his hardest to get everyone to join in. We had a query with our room and was very quickly changed to another room, which was a lovely room above the restaurant

Room Tip: The rooms about the restaurant are the most up to date usually starting in the 500's there are n...

Myself , hubby and 15yr old son have just returned from a 11 day stay at the Alize Hotel . The hotel is very well situated off a central shopping , restaurant strip area . The short walk down the strip leads to the beach ( shingle and stone) , and on the stroll down , you have many shopping opportunities and can negotiate a few bargains ! The hotel is lovely and clean , with a good sized pool . The usual sunbed standoffs start before 7am ( although a sign says towels will be removed before this time , it didnt seem to be enforced) .. So be sharp to blag a bed ! The rooms are bright and airy and have great air- con and showers. Rooms are cleaned daily with plenty of fresh towels and toilet roll etc . The food was plentiful . Well presented, fresh and hot . Chefs frequently in the dining areas refilling and also cooking on outside BBQ area every evening . We found something every day/ night we liked , so much so we only ate out one night elsewhere ( and this was really to watch a World Cup match which was not on in the complex!!!) . The staff are all friendly and helpful ( give or take a few exceptions ...daytime receptionist , and a few young bar staff ) , but a special mention must go to Erkhan and his animation crew. They really make such an effort to involve " dear guests" ... But dont push you to join in if you would rather not ! The animation crew are a great asset ! Brilliant hotel , would definitely reccommend this , and we WILL be back ! :)

Room Tip: Blocks 3 and 4 overlook the pool area . Floors 2 and 3 have a great view of the stunning mountains w...
