Just got back from 10 days at this hotel. was not quite what we expected, But that was generally not the hotels fault.

It started off to a less than ideal start. We had specified and paid extra for a room with a double bed, Check in at 0400 hrs. took us to a room with two singles complained immediately and was told nothing could be done then and to go to reception at 10. Helpfully the Thomas Cook rep Sally was at the reception to do the Welcome talk and she showed them the confirmation that we must have a double room, it was all in the confirmations so they agreed to move us that day and at 1300 they called us to transfer to another room.

We started in block 4 which is on the Mosque side so you can hear the call to prays Moved to Block 2 which appeared to be a larger room but on the opposite the Dorian Hotel who have loud entertainment until midnight every night ( Better than the man singing at 4 am I think)

The block have 4 floors a basement level 2 higher floors then a attic floor. Personally I would not have liked a basement or attic room.

The rooms are a little tired looking fairly basic but very clean. The temperature was hitting the mid to high 40s, and the aircon is equally tired, but the rooks are kept clean yes is a little mould on the shower tray but that's difficult to stop anyway and you will find similar comments from other visitors. The food was pretty much what we expected, same just about every place you go for all inclusive plenty to eat if you are willing to try things. There was fresh hot food cooked whist you wait that was quite good. Fresh BBQ Tuna one evening, Liver another, Thai chicken etc. I think there was cooked chicken available every evening for any who were not willing to try food. Why do some people always pile food on their plate then leave it? always annoys me seems such a waste of food, if its an open buffet eat what you will why not take a little of everything ( A little like Tapas) then go back for what you like.

Drinks. Vodka Gin whisky brandy house brands are included if your all inclusive, Plus house wine Tuborg beer and soft drinks Not sure on the alcohol content but I don't think is very high or suddenly I have become a hardened drinker :-)

In general the staff were excellent ( may be a little keen to clear the used plates etc. a couple of times we had gone to get deserts and came back to a clear table part finished drinks having been removed along with the dirty plates)here

My wife and I booked this hotel on the recommendation of the Thomas Cook sales person at the Trafford centre. We specified the budget time and we were looking for a place with few on no children and we wanted a little peace and quiet rest and relaxation. However about 25% of the guests were children mainly British ( I thought they should all be in school?) The hotel run a kids club 1 hour morning afternoon and evening and Anna ( Entertainment team) seemed to be doing a good job with them. but I guess it would not suit the parents who expect someone else to look after their kids all the time.

Entertainment team had events for the adults in and around the pool ( like water polo) table tennis tournaments, air rifle shooting competitions etc. Evening events included Turkish dancing, a belly dancer some gymnastics teams and others there were external paid? acts but very amateur, some better than others.

Sunbeds. Not enough of them, they say that you should not reserve sunbeds with towels but many did and not much was done about it. The main problems are 1) not enough sunbeds 2) not enough space around the pool. Though there is a lawn area which many people moved beds too in order to have some space.

The pool was quite nice and the main bar open all day and evening was near it.

Internet was available with wifi stations located near the bar and near the reception. Patchy cover elsewhere.

Guests were from all over Europe and some locals too.

In the area. It is a short easy walk to the main street in OluDenize with bars and shops. Lots of "Genuine Fake" outlets selling poor copies of well known brand labels. Easting out was not cheap in fact the prices were pretty much comparable with eating in the cheaper end of UK city eateries. Blue lagoon is worth a visit free bus to Seahorse beack ( a private section of gritty sand by the lagoon) from the Hotel and back provided you buy drinks and food. Couple of Burgers with a Beer and a soda cost 48 TL so almost GBP 20.00 It is nice there and the sea is pleasant to swim in. We did not go anywhere else it was very hot and also we just wanted to relax.

Our flights were with Thomas cook from Manchester to Dalian and return aircraft was a 767 configured for maximum seating capacity non reclining seats Return flight 3 in the morning not very nice. Also they are quite strict on the baggage allowance charging everyone they can for overweight at GBP 14.00 per kilo cash only! Big rip off not very impressed with that.

All things considered we got the rest and relaxation we wanted but things could have been better. The hotel could improve things tremendously with little expenditure and thought.

having been to other hotels in olu deniz,,, kusadasi, and side... this hotel was a bit of a dissapointment... found the reception staff rude and unhelpfull,,,a smile goes a long way,the owners and their sons look down on the customers as 2nd class citizens.how come they had nuts with their drinks???? and white tableclothes!!??? they were arogent with their guests untill younger female guests took their fancy!!! food was good if you could stand the unbearable heat in the restuarant...it made it a not nice expierience,,, the table clothes around the tea coffee facilities were vile ,,,as was the floor disgustin ,,, warm fruit juices and water not good either!!!!!needs to be sorted,,if you like to lie in on holiday forget it.... most sunbeds have gone by 7 am ........ oh and wait to hear the good morning song ,,,,,every day at 10am......was like butlins in the sun !!....the nice points now ,,,rooms were kept spotless by the lovely maids,,, bar staff friendly and hard working...hairdressers great ,,, lady in shop was fun and sweet,,,, ana was great fun helpfull and works so hard.,,,she actually should manage the hotel,,,,, im sure she would get things up to standard......woulnt recommend this hotel...... rather spend a tiny bit more,,, and have a bit of comfort....

Not a great choice for a quite holiday. Hated the fact that had to wake up at 7 only to go an reserve a sunbed. SORT IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!. Kids club doesn't exist, apart from loud annoying music that my son refused to get involved.
Evening entertainment very poor. The main restaurant was very hot and very unpleasant.
Reception staff very unfriendly and unhelpful had to book with Dorian hotel next door for the last day as the were unable to extend the check out as promised by Thomas cook. All the staff COULD say was SORRY FULLY BOOKED and use the sunbeds to sleep.. WHAT SUNBEDS ???!!!!
On a positive note the room was very clean and clean towels everyday.
Overall very disappointing and a very bad experience. Would not recommend it to anyone and won't be going back again EVER.

1st time to Turkey and we loved it , people were lovely both in and outside the hotel !
The hotel was spotless due to the hard work of the staff from dawn to dusk , special mention for the bar staff who were great fun especially Smiley ( hussain )
Food took some getting used to , possibly could do more meat & fish choices but all 8 of us found something most nights , always a option to go out for a meal as quality & price on strip & beach front was great !
Only negatives were not enough sunbeds and early morning towel placing is required , but be warned Anna the guest relations lady will remove towels that have just been left by owners that think they can go out for the morning !
Other niggle was Amphitheatre where evening entertainment was held , to watch shows it meant losing your table by bar area , so more often we never bothered with shows !
We would recommend hotel and maybe visit again one day

Have just returned from 10 night holiday and wished we had booked for 2 weeks. Hotel is excellent - rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Entertainment staff, April, Speedy and Ronaldo were great and husband and daughter really enjoyed the pool games and water polo. Nothing is too much trouble. Food was good - yes it gets a bit repetitive but was always fresh and plenty to choose from. Restaurant staff all really pleasant and helpful - restaurant could do with air conditioning though. Turkish night on the Thursday was great fun. Our trip to the lagoon was really enjoyable. Met some lovely people. We will definitely be returning.
