Recently returned from a fantastic 2 weeks at the Belceham beach hotel and would say to everyone thinking of coming here, definitely. The hotel was friendly, clean, perfect location and an overall really nice place. We would definitely return here and are already looking at dates next year.

Olu Deniz itself is fantastic. From the restaurants, people and bars it is an all round great place to go. There is something for everyone.

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and the bar staff in particular were so helpful. We went half board but to be honest we only ate in 4 nights as the food in the resort was cheap.

Can't wait to come back and thanks for changing our mind about Turkey

We stayed for 1 week in September, the apartments are in a quiet but central location, about 5 minutes to the beach and Main Street. The complex is small and basic, but cleaned daily with fresh towel and linen. The reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. They have a card system for drinks and food from bar. this is more expensive than the surrounding bars / restaurants as is usually the case. Breakfast is very basic, coffee and toast. I'd suggest going out if you want full english, most places charge 10lira, £3 for this. The late check out rooms are £30, which is a lot more than we usually pay in Turkey.
We spent most days days on the beach, or out on trips, the main public beach is very stony, but great for swimming, although does shelve deeply so not ideal for young kids. Courtesy buses run frequently for the beaches around the lagoon which has much shallower and calmer water.

Olu Deniz is a really nice resort, everything is compact, great bars, restaurants, friendly atmosphere and fantastic weather. We're already booking to go back next year.

Must do!
6 island boat trip
Buy beach shoes
Haggle for trips and shop around
Paragliding (best thing we've ever done, amazing views)
Jeep safari.

Just returned from the Belcehan Beach Hotel after two fabulous weeks yes the room was basic but the amount of time we spent in there was negligible but they were cleaned with fresh towels everyday. The staff are amazing and can never do enough for you, surroundings are stunning and the resort as a whole wonderful. My partner and myself have been tentative about going to Turkey before but our worries were totally unfounded and would encourage anybody to visit this wonderful country.

Room Tip: go high for a balcony rather than a ground floor room

Nice looking small family hotel with a decent size pool. The rooms surround the pool and are very close so it can be quite noisy during the day. Also on the main road so a fair bit of traffic noise but generally quite quiet at night. The room was quite small dark and basic as was the bathroom.
The reception staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble.
Plenty of shops and eateries close by and a bus at the top of the road runs about every 5 minutes into Fethiye.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice before. it's still okay but only just. The rooms etc are basic as described by others and the breakfast is what you would expect in Turkey.

Unfortunately the hotel is lacking in any atmosphere this year and that's partly to do with the staffing of the bar. Artem the barmen is a very nice young man, pleasant and helpful but speaks very little English and doesn't have much understanding of what music to play in the day and at night - if you like Adam Faith or Helen Shapiro and music from the fifties and early sixties you'd be okay! Most nights there is no one at the bar all night - we like to go out in any case but it's nice to sometimes have a drink at the hotel and get to meet other guests but there's nothing to attract them to be there, Artem needs some help and input but he isn't getting it. The bar situation needs looking at and it's hard to understand why nobody is because the profits must be way down especially in the evenings - there's absolutely nobody there! We've spent a lot less money at the hotel this year than previously.

Reception staff make an effort to be pleasant and helpful as does Artem.

The owners have recently opened the new Belcehan Bistro which is doing well as is the Belcehan Deluxe, unfortunately this leaves the Belcehan Beach as the poor relation. They are knocking down and rebuilding the Belcehan Beach after 2014 season and it seems in the meantime they have lost interest in investing any time or effort into it. I doubt if we will return here next year as I think it will be slightly worse as it will be in it's final year.
