“''What a great find!''”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

We had a 2 week holiday from the 7th July-21st July 2012. From the time we got there at 3.30am we were well looked after. Jerry behind the bar even served us a drink as we had travelled for nearly 12 hours and needed one before we settled in our rooms for some much needed sleep! The rooms were basic but extremely clean. Our room overlooked the pool to one side and the mountains the other- amazing view! We spent most of our time at the pool which was lovely and clean with wooden sunbeds as it was a bit too hot to walk too far, but I was quite happy with that because all is at hand, the bar and restaurant, toilets and our room. We would like to say a huge thankyou to Memmet, Tom, Jerry, Yusef, reception staff and all the lovely waiters for making our holiday as great as it was. We had so many laughs day and night and everything is so well organised. Whilst we were there we went on the jeep safari and sunset cruise all organised by Memmet-so much easier than traipsing round town looking for the best deal! Both trips were brilliant, but the jeap safari was my favourite-I have never laughed so much in one day and the places we were taken were amazing! There is also a Dolmus bus stop outside the hotel that will take you to the larger towns.
Olu deniz is very pretty with all amenities close by. Cash machines were all down the street, and many lovely restaurants, which we tried a different one every night. We were B&B because we like trying different eateries! The town itself is a 5 min walk and the beach(sand and pebbles) a 5-10 min walk.
If you are thinking about going to Olu Deniz go to the Majestic. The staff are brilliant (working many hours at a time and still smile).
We will be back!
Thankyou for a great holiday...Marcia and Dan.x

Room Tip: Ask for 2nd block of rooms overlooking the pool and mountain. Ours was 120. Lovely view!

A superb holiday! The welcome at the Majestic is second to none! The staff are sooo friendly and do everything they can to make your holiday a good one. Location is excellent, close to everything you could need. My husband and I chose the Bed and Breakfast option as there is so many good restaurants to eat in. Pool area is spotless and has proper wooden sun loungers!
Special thanks must go to Mehmet, Tom and Jerry and all the staff who work tirelessly! Nothing is too much trouble. Air conditioning is a must, payable locally. Rooms are small, but as you aren't in them that much this isn't an issue. The small and friendly nature of the hotel was ideal for us and we met some fantastic people! Speciall thanks to McKayla, Dave, Rob, Nikki, Amy Dawn, Adrian , Issac, Leah, Matthew and Tara, Holly and Gaz!
A wonderful place, wonderful atmosphere, we are already planning to return next year!! Big thanks to all the staff for making our holiday special :)

upon arrival the look of the reception is nice clean and very smart, the staff were helpful in what we needed, slightly odd room allocations as we were put in a different part of the hotel from the rest but was not a big issue, the rooms do vary in size and quality but to use as a base i would not complain to much. the breakfast in the morning was very good and had alot of different choices, the pool i found to be quite small but it was well maintained the grounds were well kept and of a night it had a party atmosphere. of a night only once was my sleep disturbed but this was more people in rooms nearby banging so no fault of the hotel. there is a nearby shop which has alot of things that were cheap, in my opinion i would use the hotel again if i was going with friends, but not necessarily for me and my girlfriend i would towards the other hotels as they seemed to be better, (alot of time was spent at the Turquoise due to my girlfriend being there) air con is a must and for £4 per day was well worth it.

Room Tip: avoid A block personally

We had a two week holiday at the Majestic fron the 11th - 25th July and had a great time! My two boys 4 and 6 loved the swimming pool and the staff.
We were B & B and ate out in the evenings so much to choose from.
Not once were we ignored or rude to, if anything the staff were friendly and more than happy for my boys to throw them in the pool!!!!
The rooms are basic but to be honest we were only in there to sleep. Our room was cleaned everyday.
We personally would stay there again if we went back to turkey as the boys could be them- selves without people moaning!
Great holiday, loved every minute, wish we were still out there!

Just got back from 11 nights at the Majestic Hotel and we had an amazing time. The hotel is beautiful set with mountains in the background. It is the only hotel we saw with good sturdy sun beds made of wood. The pool was lovely and kept clean each morning by Yusef who was a jack of all trades and always put his hand to something being cleaning the pool to waiting on tables or on the roof fixing something and always with a big smile on his face. The staff were all amazing and would do anything to help. Memett the manager was lovely and joined in the pool games and the two boys Tom and Jerry behind the bar were lovely as well. We went half board which was my only regret with the hotel as in our opinion catered more for turkish guest than english guest. Every single night was chicken and only 1 other option eg spagetti bolognaise or something that resembled an oblong burger. Whilst the food was very nice there is only so much chicken you can eat and towards the end of the holiday we ate out. The boys in the dining area and round the pool worked very hard and never stopped and I think are a credit to the hotel. Billy saw to us most of the time in the dining area and as soon as he saw us sit down he was over greeting us and putting the fan on and pointing it in our direction as it was so hot. I dont know if I would go back to Oludeniz as the temperature is so hot - which I understand it is Turkey but only 10 minutes on the Dolmus Bus to Hisonarou the temperature was completely different. There is no breeze whatsoever in Oludeniz and no air whereas in Hisonarou there is but if I did go back to visit I would definately go and see the staff at this hotel as they made our holiday very special. Thanks again to all the staff x

A bit to far from the beach for my liking but the swimming pool is large enough to tone the old mucles and good for the kids.
All rooms and dining areas are very clean, food is good but a little pricy?
Staff are friendly but be carefull when you pay for drinks with your room number, I would advise you to sign and keep your receipts as you may find someone has had a free night on you!!!
The hotel is at the top of the resort so it is a bit of a trek to the beach about half a click, and even longer coming back?
Eat out when you can, it's cheaper than the hotel plus you will help the locals keep their jobs.
Overall you won't be disappointed with the hotel, they are all basically the same even the five star hotels that are all inclusive have the same style layout,
My family and I have visited this resort every year for 12 years and still enjoy it.
It's a great resort but keep it to yourself ;-)
