“Beautiful, relaxing, a little piece of heaven!”

Beautiful room and hotel! The pool side area was so beautifully designed, outdoor kitchen area and seating. Friendly staff. Very romantic - a little sanctuary. Wish we'd have tried the restaurant there too. Please be aware this is on the busy strip so it may be a little noisy a night - we found it ok though.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the bottom floor with a pool view.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jade Residence. This beautiful hotel is perfectly situated right on the beachfront overlooking the Bay of Oludeniz. We spent every evening enjoying drinks on the restaurant/bar terrace watching the sun set, followed by dinner. Can't recommend the meals highly enough - great value for money, lots of choices, big meal servings and delicious food. Easily some of the best food we had on our trip away. Breakfast was also delicious and served poolside in the relaxing surrounds of the hotels gardens. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated with all the amentities you require. The staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Will stay there again on my return to Turkey!!

Crap town. too touristy. beautiful hotel facility - but got sexually harassed by staff.

As two young women we just wanted to hang out and relax, and one man working at the hotel aggressively bothered us about coming out to a club with him, asked us if we were lesbians, and commented on our looks and stared grotesquely every time we just wanted to sit at the pool. This same employee lied to us and said he owned the hotel when we asked who the owner was to complain.

The town is hideous and full of cheap chavs, but we might have had a nice time hanging out at this sweet and lovely hotel, if we hadn't been sexually harassed. This was more than your average turkish male behaviour.

My husband and I have just spent our third year on holiday at Jade Residence for 2 weeks and just as the previous two occasions, it did not disappoint.
This is a wonderfully exclusive hotel hidden away from the the resort's hustle and bustle although located in the heart of it and a stone's throw away from the beach, reached by a lovely little decking walkway adjacent to the Seahorse Bar that takes you onto the promenade.
The hotel is just as is promised in the pictures on the website - the room is large and airy with lovely French doors and a little wrought iron balcony overlooking a fantastic view over the pool. The decor within the room has been thought about down to the last detail - beautiful pastel coloured voiles in addition to the curtains with matching cushions and bedspread. The floors are white painted boards giving a nautical feeling which is perfect given the distance to the sea and the bathroom has two lovely hand basins set in marble - his and her's with a shower that you can also use as a jacuzzi plus an assortment of complimentary items such as cotton buds/cotton wool and shower gels. There is of course the TV and a minibar and very pretty chandelier lights. It's just a lovely room which you are delighted to return to. Towels are changed daily.
The pool area is stunning, entirely decked incorporating several established olive trees which I am told are hundreds of years old, very nice design inspired sunbeds, a hammock chair and another hammock, plus a beautiful comfy seating area set within an alcove underneath the upstairs terrace and restaurant. There are also a couple of antique bookstands with books and magazines left by other holidaymakers for you to borrow, a min library. Breakfast is a leisurely affair, set around the pool area under the umbrellas with an array of fresh fruit, bread, pastries, all manner of conserves and continental breakfast foods, something to tempt all palates and the kitchen staff will happily cook omlettes or fried eggs to order. Even if you don't eat in the restaurant upstairs which has breathtaking views over the sea, enjoy a few drinks in the bar on the comfy sofas watching the sunset, theer's nothing quite like it.
Nothing is too much trouble at this hotel, it's friendly, helpful and luxurious at an affordable price. A big thank you to Arpanz, the owner( not sure if that's the correct spelling of his name) and the staff at Jade for helping to make lovely holiday memories and a reason to come back time and again.

Jade Residence is a small oasis of calm in Olu Deniz. It is hidden from the outside world whilst being a stones throw from the beach and shops.

We stayed there for 8 nights in September and loved it. The rooms are spacious and stylish, our room was on the top floor room so we had a good view of the sea. Having the top floor though does mean you have some sloping ceilings.

Unlike some of the other reviews, we were not bothered by the noise from nearby bars. Whether this was due to being there later in the season or because we were on the top floor we do not know.

As noted by other reviewers, Zak and the rest of the staff were most welcoming and friendly, taking care of any requests we made.

We thought it was the best hotel in the town and if we go back to Olu Deniz we’ll definitely use this hotel again.

Room Tip: Top floors have lower ceilings but good view of the sea.

Checked out from the 10-room Jade Residence this morning and thought I should post a review at the first opportunity, as a testament to my satisfaction with the place.

Room: We had 203 on the first floor. Bright and spacious with some local features. Only slight negatives were the air-con (slightly temperamental and am sure it could be easily resolved but we decided to have it off most of the time anyway...) and the water pressure in the shower could have been better.

Staff: Very personable, especially the all-male bar team. Zuhal (the manager?) was most helpful and gave truly impartial recommendations for places to eat etc. Also worth a special mention is Zac (the Gavin Henson lookalike) who's smiley 24/7, ever so courteous and speaks very good English.

Perks/Facilities: The pool, like the hotel itself, was small but very pleasant and welcome in the heat. Nice sofas/cushioned swings scattered around at one's disposal. Breakfast served till 11:30am which was perfect for late-risers like us. Complimentary and reliable Wifi throughout. Access to shops and beach was literally a stone's throw away (so yes, you would hear some noise from the clubs but hey, can't have it all now can we?).

Restaurant: Cream-coloured wooden chairs and tables, as well as comfy settees tastefully decked out on the terrace with great views of Oludeniz, particularly at sunset. Seafood Combo (never seen so much seafood on a plate for GBP15 in Europe!!!) was a highlight for me and the guys made a mean mojito! Do at least dine there once, promise me!

Admittedly, Oludeniz is not Maldives (it wouldn't be 1/5 of the cost if it were!) but for a few days of affordable R&R away from the usual suspects in the Med, it's hard to beat (especially when combined with a cultural visit to Istanbul). If you look hard enough, or know whom to ask for advice, you might just surprise yourself like we did:

- http://kizilada.com/ (A speedboat will pick you up from Fethiye and whisk you to a private island, where they serve good seafood on a wooden deck with breathtaking views. Not cheap but it's worth every penny).

- Cinbal Turkish barbecue restaurant (30 TLR by taxi each way but good fun especially if there is a group of you)

Enjoy!
