The hotel is beautiful. The food is acceptable. The staff very friendly. Location very charming. But if you are planning for a relaxing vacation with a book at hand, go to bed at a decent hour, clock in 10+ hours of sleep but still have most of your day to explore the sites then find yourself a different hotel. I'm writing this review at 3:52 am , the noise flowing in from the many neighboring bars and clubs are at such a high level in my room that it is not possible to sleep. And you know how those party sounds are only the closest one you can hear the music, the rest are just meaningless thumps - sooo annoying. I've already changed my room once - first room was a corner room, and all street noise (motorcycles starting in the middle of the night, restaurant bar workers having a smoke break in my corner so on and on). Oh and this is supposed to be the off season - it is mid October. The hotel needs to invest in heavy duty glass to block the sound if they want to keep their client list diverse.

Room Tip: Don't go there for a quiet vacation. But if your understanding of vacation is to be in bed after...

Just returned from a fabulous week at this hotel. It's a beautiful, romantic and traditionally Turkish hotel but with modern comforts. Mohammed and all the staff there made us feel very welcome. The home-cooked food is gorgeous and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It is an oasis of calm amongst the hustle and bustle of this lively resort, but it means you can do as little or as much as you want. Our best highlights were going paragliding from the top of the mountain (an amazing experience) and going on a boat trip with Mustafa from the hotel, which was fabulous. We loved it at this hotel, would recommend it to anyone. We'll be back!

Room Tip: Try and find a quieter room away from the noise of the nearby bars.

Spacious and comfortable standard room in complex with good pool and restaurant right near the famed Oludeniz beaches. Very attractive details and reasonably quiet at night, despite the lively parties. The two managers were always there for us and very helpful in pointing out sights and restaurants. The beach is very public and pebbly for tender feet, though extravagantly beautiful. Buy cheap shoes at the local markets. The Lycian way is nearby, and the paragliding awesome, they land right near the beach.

Title says it all. Probably 20 mtrs from the beach. Para gliders dropping out of the sky at minute intervals 20/30 mtrs away (my partner was one and is still on a high!!). An oasis of tranquility but a few secs away from everything.
We only ate breakfast which was perfectly acceptable. Mohammed is a star. What a truly lovely man. Search him out for any help you need.
A few people bought into Mustapha's boat trip and were not over impressed. He was at us within secs of appearing at breckie the first day and was distinctly cool with us after we declined.
In summary: if we can pick up a bargain for a week or so we will return but not too room 202!

Room Tip: We in room 202. I suggest there are better rooms. It had no balcony on which to sit with a beer or g...

I stayed at Oyster Residence in August this year for 2 wonderful weeks. It was a wonderful oasis full of calm and peacefulness against the hustle and bustle that was going on just outside the hotel gate! Our room was beautifully presented and we felt very much at home. Hamdi, the night porter, greeted us warmly at 3 am and could not do enough for us throughout the whole of our time there. Breakfast was as good as it gets and the ambience of the whole place was something you would want to take home with you. The cleaning ladies were absolutely wonderful and so very friendly and the waiter service was excellant. There was only one waiter that needed to smile a bit more(I only saw him smile once) and he did make me feel a little bit uncomfortable. I am sorry that I cannot remember his name. The people in the reception were very courteous and were prompt to tend with our needs. We would definitely recommend Oyster Residence as a wonderful holiday getaway! Thank you to all the staff that helped to make our stay so memorable.

Room Tip: The ground floor rooms are the best as they have a patio area with a day bed a table and chairs and...

Returned home from 9 days stay at this lovely little hotel, booked again for next September as we can't wait to go back.

We had a terrace room 113, lovely room which was cleaned to perfection every day. Really enjoyed our coffee in the morning on the terrace, surrounded by greenery and olive trees, so peaceful we were in heaven.

Pool didn't have a shallow end so can't comment as was never in it. Very relaxing here during the day, hammocks and lazy beds.....bliss.

Restaurant was gorgeous, basic breakfast but the chefs would cook you what you wanted. We ate here 3 nights out of our stay and the food never disappointed us. Mohammad the waiter set up our ROMANTIC table for us, such a star.

The staff here were very nice, enjoyed our chats with Mohammad, Mustafa and Hamdy. Also went on Mustafas boat trip, great day out.

Beach was a bit disappointing, very pebbley and sore to walk on, definitely buy swim shoes. Went to the Lagoon but didn't see what all the fuss was about, far too overcrowded and noisey but we had to go to see it. Sugar beach was what we preferred, sandy and still water, no crowds and such a chilled place.

All in all we had an amazing holiday here, first time to Olu Deniz but definitely not our last. Want to thank all the staff that made our holiday pleasurable and see you all next year.

Sam & Billy.
