We had a great stay at Oyster. The pool was gorgeous, and the food was fab. It really did feel like a calm Oasis in the middle of what is quite a busy resort.

I can really recommend the private boat trip laid on by the hotel - we were about 20 people on a big boat and felt a big smug when passing the other organised trips with what looked like 150 passengers on board.

The location was perfect too. Big thumbs up.

I stayed at the Oyster Residence from 22 Jun for a week with a friend. From the minute we arrived the staff could not do enough to make our stay as pleasureable as possible. The staff were second to none and really helped to make the holiday - a lot of the other guests commented on how good they were too. As its a small hotel you find you get to know the other guests and its nice to be able to chat to familiar faces around the pool everyday.
We booked a room with a terrace, I recommend these rooms, all the rooms looked lovely but it was a bonus to have the terrace to sit out on in the evening when coming in from the pool or beach,
The Oyster is in a great location and is central the the shops bars and restaurants which are all within walking distance. You can walk to the Blue Lagoon from the hotel - approx 15 / 20 mins walk - flat - no hills. You have to pay to get into the Blue Lagoon and I recommend you get there quite early to get a sun lounger in the front row by the sea.
The hotel is opposite a beach which is perfectly adequate if you did not want to venture to the Blue Lagoon however we preferred to stay by the pool and chillax the day away which is very easy to do on the comfortable sun loungers and hammocks.

We stayed on a B&B Basis, the hotel does offer Half Board and the food at the hotel is excellent - we ate there on a couple of occassions.

There have been some comments about the noise coming from local bars, I can hand on heart say this did not affect our holiday at all. We work very hard and enjoyed having a few early nights on holiday, we could hear the music but it was not excessive and did not prevent us from sleeping, I spoke to a few other guests about this and they were all pretty much of the same opinion and none of them complained about it at all.

Overall a delightful week, in lovely surroundings, I hope to visit again in October this year as it was a little hot for me at this part of the year! I wouldn't hesiate in recommending this hotel to anyone !

Arrived at the hotel on the last week of our fabulous 3 weeks holiday to Turkey. The hotel is so lovely - the gardens are beautiful, the rooms are very well appointed and are a good size - we stayed in a standard room and wouldn't have wanted anything more. All staff (and owners) are friendly and happy to help you in any way to make your holiday stress free.
Excellent location and it was fun to have breakfast watching the morning paragliders buzz the hotel and land right outside!
There is some noise at night but you are in Olu Deniz! And as previous reviewers have said, the noise does reduce around midnight. Didn't bother us at all. Can't wait to return.

We have just returned from the most amazing holiday, we got married at the blue lagoon , 22nd June and stayed at the Oyter Residences for 2 weeks. The hotel is the best in Olu Deniz!! all the rooms are individual designed we stayed in room 112. We are both well travelled and been aroud the world a couple of times and this is one of the best we have stayed in!! The staff are so friendly can not do enough for you! the breakfasts are great they cooked us bacon, eggs, omlettes anything we wanted and we had breakfast in our room on our private terrace. As for the noise anywhere you stay in Olu Deniz you will hear noise although a lot of bars go quieter after midnight!! the noise didn't bother us! the hotel is so nice that even if the noise was a problem it wouldnt spoil your stay its worth paying a little more! thanks to all at the Oyster for making our wedding stay so special, and thanks for the wine etc! hopefully see you for a week on our anniversary next year!! Olu Deniz main beach is stoney but just buy jelly shoes and its fine the water is goergeous we went every day! the lagoon is worth paying for as water even nicer but just a little too hot for us as not much of a breeze! fab places to eat, Oyster its self, La Mare Italian, Buzz bar, secret garden all do really lovely turkish food!!

This really is one of the most lovely places I have ever stayed. It's an idyll amongst the other normal hotels in Oludeniz. Paying a little extra to stay here is so incredibly worth it - it really made our trip. the staff were very helpful, and so friendly too. We had a fantastic room (110) that opened out onto a private shady balcony right next to the pool (see posted photos). They have paid attention to every detail. The food is excellent, the gardens lovely, the pool spotless, and the hotel is not over-run with children as it's over 14yrs only. Highly recommend

We have just returned from a week at Oyster Residences, and this was bliss. I cannot agree with people who complain about the noise, yes there are people enjoying themselves late at night - isn't that what holidays are about - enjoyment. We would add that we are not young and trendy, we are both in our sixties, but we like life, and we have probably contributed to noise in our past years. Olu Deniz is a buzzy place, but the hotel with it's ambience, service, style, elegant rooms, pool, the food, the wonderful staff, and everything else that it encompasses well compensate. The hotel reminds us of La Residencia, Deia, Majorca - which is one of the leading hotels in the world, were we have had the priveledge of staying as we have had also in the Oyster.

This was our first time in Turkey and everywhere we went the people were superb, the food also superb and reasonably priced

We will be back whether there be noise or no noise.

Love to all the hotel

This hotel is very nice and the location is great, although the beach is more like hardcore than sand. The lagoon however was beautiful but you did need sandals in order to go into the water as it was quite rough underfoot. Stayed for 1 week and we could see problems at the hotel starting to arise with late night noise from the bar next door. We are easy going and enjoy a few late night drinks but I think the location description will need to be clarified so as not to mislead people into thinking they have a peaceful location. Fabulous in the day but we were kept awake 3 nights out of 7. Shame really as having read reviews prior to our arrival we though it might have improved. I have given this hotel an overall rating of 3 stars as I believe, as a minimum requirement people should be allowed to sleep at night. The room was nice with a French style window so no balcony/terrace, however the ground floor rooms had a terrace so would recommend those rooms, also lower down so may reflect the noise!
