We went to the Hotel Greenland in June 2011 and have to say that we had a fantastic time.We had upgraded to a room overlooking the quiet pool, this was worth the extra cost to wake up to the view of the mountains in the morning .I cannot fault the room or the staff .......they could not do enough for you.The hotel is situated a little way out of Hisaronu but we did not feel at all isolated as the local buses stop just at the end of the road .....and the taxis are cheap. We went to Fethiye market......which I would recommend it sells everything from food to clothing . .........the boat trips are a lovely way to spend a relaxing day and lunch was included. We went into Hisaronu a couple of nights and that is certainly lively.I would recommend getting the hotel bus to the Blue Lagoon at Olu Deniz.....its beautiful.Yes a fantastic holiday I will definately be returning

Room Tip: Upgrade to a superior room...........its worth it !!

Just returned from 1 week 7th may 2012 at Greenland Hotel. Hotel & Rooms lovely - well looked after. Food was excellent as were the staff. Only downside is location there is a hill from main road to hotel and also to the rooms in the higher blocks. But never the less would go back again. Bit gutted we were charge £10 for a birthday cake thought they may have done it for nothing as all inclusive but there you go. arrived at 2am unable to get a drink or food but reception staff did offer to get a takeaway for us and i am guessing at an additional cost! Emily the rep is fab and really helpful and friendly keep up the good work. There are 2 great pools. we used the one at the top as this had no facilities for children, yes peace and quiet, there is a bar there too,and you can get lunchtime snacks. if you are in the higher blocks, 4 & 5 there is a bit of a hike back to your room as the main eating area and entertainment is in the lower part.

Another week at the greenland hotel and same as last year not dissapointed.
Staff just cant do enough for you day or night.the hotel is spottless and basic rooms are big enough for couples.
The hotel is located about 2km from hisaronu but the local bus passes about every ten minutes at the bottom of the road and is very cheap to use.they run between the local villages until 1am.
The hotel has 2 pools, the one at top is mostly for chilling out whilst the bottom one has a slide and entertainment.
We found the food nice with enough choice every meal time.
On day of departure we were given a courtesy room to shower in as our pick up was not until late with clean towels at no charge.all in all another nice holiday at the greenland hotel.

Have just returned from my third holiday at this hotel and have to say it gets better every time i go. Rooms have just been done up and are very spacious and clean, food is always excellent and varied. Entertainment staff for 2012 are absolutely fantastic. Hassan and the gang are always coming round to chat with guests and really are a good laugh to be around despite having to work long hours. The bar manager, Riza and his team are always very polite and chatty and always interested to know what you have been up to. Again, these guys work some long hours but despite this are always great to chat to. They also remember what drinks you like and despite the bar staff having to put up with some rude, obnoxious and over demanding guests, they never complain and are all very professional and helpful. I am already looking to book up again later this year.

Cannot say a bad word about this hotel, love it!!!!!!

Food is of a very high standard and always choice for people that are fussy eaters. entertainment is very nice throughout the day and evening, staff always friendly and willing to help and make you enjoy your holiday. Hope to return for 5th Time to the lovely hotel.

The hotel had only been open 5 days when we arrived and at the beginning of the season it was naturally quiet. Situated and built without detroying the wonderful views of the mountains the hotel is removed from the busier resorts of Hisoranou, Olu Deniz and Feteye although is only a short and very cheap local bus ride away so for us this was a massive plus.

The rooms were well presented, nicely decorated and very clean, cleaned everyday and expectations were clearly set with bedding and towels exchanged every 2 days in the room. Plenty of plug points (always a bit of a gripe of mine in hotels) and a very sweet little balcony. The bed was comfy and the only reason we had problems sleeping was a rooster!

The pool areas were lovely! Again very clean although it being the beginning of the season it was a little bit chilly.

We really enjoyed the food and thought it was very varied, with traditional Turkish food and some more standard European fare. I agree with the review below that the all inclusive drinks package is slightly limited, but I certainly never felt that I wasn't getting value for money.

We certainly didn't encounter any rudeness from the staff. Giving that there were so few people there due to the early season, they took a great interest in us, knew our names and remembered what we had been up to. My sister was getting married whilst out there, and they were all keen to hear about the wedding, and on the following day many asked how the day had gone!

Clearly this hotel leaves a positive impression with many of those that choose to holiday there. Lots of the people we met had returned numerous times. I have to say, that we will definitely be back. There appears to be a lot to do around the resort, which we were unfortuantly unable to partake in, on this occassion.

It is certainly a beautiful area of Turkey, and the hotel certainly does the area justice.

Room Tip: If you want a good view, go for a pool view in one of the top blocks. If you are a little immobile t...

Just come back from this Hotel and absolutely loved it! We prefered the quiet of the location compared to the really touristy Olu Deniz or Hisorano. We used the local buses all the time and they were easy cheap and reliable. The Hotel is situated on a hill and therefore access could be difficult if you have health issues. The Staff were great and friendly and not at all rude as mentioned in a previous review. Our daughter was getting married and they could not have been more helpful. The place is clean and well maintained with plenty of places to sit quietly if you don't want to be around the main pool.
Entertainment is limited and what you make of it. The food is good and varied and again nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
There is noise from the local mosque and rooster but we wear ear plugs so it wasn't a problem for us. At least there wasn't noise from local disco's and karaoke bars!!
We really enjoyed the Turkish Bath experience offered by Josef and it was great value for money.
There is a daily shuttle bus to the beach and back all offered free of charge. The owner of the Hotel was always about making sure everything was being run properly and he rightly was very proud of is hotel.
We normally go to one of the large 5 star hotels in Belek. This hotel offered a more individual experience. The only negative difference in comparison was the limited range of drinks available on the all inclusive package. We will be returning next year!! Thank you Greenland for a great week.
