Such a wonderful, peaceful, headache free stay at Spektr. They really exceeded our expectations with everything, be it food, service and most importantly the hotels exquisite condition. I have stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, and amazingly there were no surprises at all. As we all know staying in a hotel for 1 or 2 nights eliminates the possibility of having a bad experience by probability, so staying there for more makes it more probable, nevertheless it was fantastic!
One or two things that the hotel needs to work on is to invest more time in training their staff, not for being polite, no as they were very very polite but due to minimal experience there has been some minor errors which at the end was handled and properly managed by the management. The other thing is to pay more attention to minor details; There was a spill of either tea or juice in our balcony which was left uncleaned for a long time or as far as i remember was not cleaned at all during the whole stay (it was not major but worth mentioning).
One little minor thing for the hotel to work on, is their access to the sea. They do give you access to a restaurant which they also own called Gusto (5-10 min walk from the hotel, and they also provide hotel transportation), which has a very nice deck right on the sea. However it needs a major revamp, since from what i understood they bought the restaurant from other people and was left untouched and did not change anything about it, which in my opinion does not reflect the hotels image and unmatched in terms of quality. They do have good food and fairly a "not bad" service, however its a little over priced compared to the other restaurants in Yalikavak and the close cities around it.
All in all it was great and the view from the rooms was spectacular! Keep it up, as i will definitely stay again at Spektr next time I'm in Yalikavak!
