If you want to experience a real parilla in La Boca this is the plac to go. If you are a football fan, take them your team's scarf to add to their enormous collection.

This is a local working class restaurant. The fried calamari was coated in grease. The lomo steak which is a filet mignon more resembled a sirloin of mediocre quality. The chimichure sauce came with a spoon coated in oil. The Spanish stew resembled a New England boiled dinner without the pretense of flavor or many recognizable animal parts.
The restaurant is in a poor neighborhood and not worth the walk. Totally un scenic
The waiter was very nice. He did order us a cab but it never came

My husband is argentinian and i am turkish. So he took me and my family with some other family members to this place. Do not expect any luxury here. It is a local place where you eat sooo good for a really good price. Do not forget to make a reservation because this place is full even on weekdays. The plates are big enough to share with someone else. After some tasty meat, finish your dinner with Cabe de Vainilla with Dulce de Leche!

We ate here our first night in Buenos Aires. It was culturally a wonderful experience because we were the only Americans there. Most of the people were local so it was nice to see families enjoying dinner together. The prices here are amazingly low and the quality is excellent. We could not have had better or more friendly service. This restaurant is HIGHLY recommended. The only suggestion is that you take a taxi there for dinner because the location at night would be better to be dropped off as it is on a side street with not much other business happening. When you are done with dinner, ask for them to call a taxi and within about 10 minutes, one will be there to pick you up.
